So, with the Myazaki RP nearing its end (eventually...) Aura and I were talking and we had these thoughts:
There are few RP's everyone is in, actively. In fact at this point there aren't any. There's always one person or another that doesn't post very often, and I think everyone aside from Dynamax is guilty of it. (Gold star for Dy)
now we also have said in the past that when Miyazaki is done, we were going to go into Fire emblem full force. However, not everyone is in Fire Emblem.
With those two things in mind, we were wonder which yall'd rather do: go in Full force in Fire Emblem as planned, or start some new idea that everyone is interested in.
we aren't sure, we love FE, but we want everyone able to participate. we've noticed some RP's go in waves, but there are those of you like Isis, who I've noticed are on more often now, but have become so behind in RP's theres nowhere to post (gold start to Isis for being an example)
Please give some imput on this. what the potential other RP would be about isn't important now, so please don't ask that.

The Miyazaki Rp reaching it's end?  At the rate it's going....I feel it'll be a while.... Anyways......Obviously as I'm not in Fire Emblem I'd rather you not launch into Fire Emblem, I'd rather it be another one. But that's not to say I'm going to hunt you guys down if you do Fire Emblem. Just don't forget the ones I'm in and I'll be content. |

*leans head in*  *Reads* It seems my plans have been thwarted again, nyess. *twirls mustache*  I'm open for anything so I think it'd be best if we focus on ideas from those with specific goals in mind and I'll weigh in if an idea catches my eye. |

Anywhoo, I dont really care, but I'm one of those not in Fire Emblem. You can do whatever you wish, and I dont mind. I'm open for new RP's, but I think some of the others besides Miyazaki should be finished before we start new ones.

Anyways, I say you should all get into Nine Hearts! NEW MEMBERS AHOY!
Seriously though, We should do Fire Emblem. Pronto. Like, maybe even start posting in it now. Seriously. I have this super freaking cool Evil God Bad Guy as my character with his two sons as other characters of mine, all these evil generals, shits going down, IT'S FIRE EMBLEM, ETC ETC.
Yet NO ONE IS DOING ANYTHING!!!! You guys even have maps for crying out loud!
CP? Isis? You're not in the Fire Emblem RP? Welp, now's the time to join!
I really, honestly think that instead of making another RP that people will post in for about a month and then abandon, we should actually finish up all these other RPs. You want full force in one of them? After Miyazaki is done, how about we finish up Nine Hearts (Which has the second most amount of people in the site in on it as only Aura and Isis don't have characters in it)? Or maybe even Clank, since that's real popular now? Possibly even Final Fantasy?
There's also Fates, which also has a lot of people in it.
Let's not forget Kingdom Hearts, which started out strong and then burnt out in no time flat.
But okay, to not sound like a total douche, I'm just going to cast my vote in with us all going on to Fire Emblem after Miyazaki ends.
BUT, if we do make a new RP for everyone to join in, I have a couple super cool ideas that should hopefully make a fun and constantly action-y experience.

ok, so far it seems everyone is voicing the same concerns we were.
the only problem with going with what we got, is there will still be people not in RP's. Who go on a lot, but have nothing to do. They could existing RP's, but that would require reading through them so they don't come in and end up lost. Lost is the key word. I believe CP and I were discussing for example, the only reason she's not in Clank no more is she didn't post for a bit in the begining and then the plot exploded, and now it's a lost cause to try to catch up. And in FE, a few people have said it's a bit too much infomation T.T
the solution to this would be one new RP, that everyone could agree on interest in, and everyone can be in.
but then again there are a loot of unfinished RP's, so we could wait for more to finish,
but who knows how long that'll take. and all that time we'll have members without a place to post T.T
See why we wanted the imput of the people?

Which is why I say join in on Fire Emblem.
I mean, what kind of excuse not to join is "there is too much information"? I'm sorry, but that really just sounds like an excuse for being too lazy to read everything. In any case, it's a lot less reading than catching up on RPs already 300 pages in (cough Nine Hearts and Fates cough).

Now if we want something we all can sink our teeth into without intimidation we can all pitch ideas and have something set up where we do the thing that allows for a unanimous vote by all active, which means firstly we all chime in and those are the ones that speak, which mans y'all prod all the quiet ones out as I have no means of really getting them.
Then we pitch, collect popular ideas then we do votes and the one or ones that have all those peoples votes get played.
And we go from there.
Not saying we rush as xmas is coming and i know I will likely be gone friday-sunday/monday but for the new year.
EDIT: The reason i suggest a unanimous vote for the game is simple. If we all agree on it, we should all feel able to play it.
EDIT 2 - Son of the Edit: Also if some of the other players want to do RP's like ink and I have with Borders Beyond that could work as well.
No reason why we can't have such RP's for others right?

Well first off, I'd like to point out that there's no guarantee that even if everyone likes a new idea, we'll all be in it. I like Fire Emblem, don't get me wrong, but that doesn't mean I'll join it. Because I'll be honest, keeping up with 2/4 rps, depending on the amount of action going on in them, is kinda my limit. I don't have the time or brainpower for much more. So I make no promises on that one.
And Outer, in regards to me and Isis joining Fire Emblem, I feel like that's the rp I'd get lost in the most. After all, people are encouraged to have a lot of characters and that will probably lead to mass amounts of subplots, and once break is over, I'll have even less time to do anything. And that's completely disregarding the reason I didn't join the first time around. And that is because video game to rp logic does not carry over well in my mind. And it irritates me. Greatly.
But yeah, as Dy pointed out, we hardly have to figure this all out now. (Really, do we want to add more stuff to do during the already insane holiday season?)
And I'm all for a vote....but in the meantime, go for Fire Emblem, and afterwards, just keep it going. Worse case scenario, we don't wind up with an rp everyone's in. And frankly, it could be far, far worse.

Okay, I agree on the vote. And on the note of "too much info" being an excuse to not do Fire Emblem....I understand what you're saying, completely. =] But I've played the games a grand total of...3 times. And I didnt get to do much. I dont understand it at all, really, and an RP of it is just going to probably confuse me. Also, as CP said, we're encouraged to have alot of charaters. I'm not one of those people who can have alot of characters. In fact, if you look in any RP im in, I have a limit of 2-3 characters (Im like the anti-Dynamax! ) Anywhoo, I'll go for a vote, but I want to wait until Christmas is over...my life's kinda hectic atm. |

i agree with the vote, and the tons of characters for fire emblem thing you can get away with only having 1-2 characters. my immense amount of ideas led me to making like 5-6 and i have issues posting with 2 XD

ok so, correct me If I'm wrong, but it's sounding a bit like you guys want to do both? get FE going again soon, and then brainstorm and vote after christmas?
which I'm fine with. because Ol's right about the fact that aura and I put a lot of work into FE, but I also feel that it might be rough for peeps to hop into existing RP's, so a new one won't be bad.
*note for peeps in FE: I think I'm going to separate it into seperate threads for each section. I feel that has worked realy well, and with so many characters in that, it's going to be a good way to tell who's who and where. I may even go so far to separate it into sub boards for each country XD. So, if we are going to get back into things, start re-reading things to get familiar with everything again and we'll go from there.
