Desiderius nodded as they returned to the main room.
"The SPSRL reeinforcements are the rebels only chance. We need to keep a tight grip around the capitol. Give them no chance to escape, give them absolutely no more ground. If we can then just hold off the SPSRL everything will then crumble for my brother." Desiderius was planning.

"I think we should attack sooner rather than later." Latalia says "We need to retake Lavstin before the machines arrive, because as you said, that is their only hope. We still outnumber them, even without our reinforcements, so if we can organize they won't stand a chance." she looks at them "I say we give it just enough time for Darien and Adris to get on their way, and then we head in."

"That might be wise too." Gunther says. "But I want a solid plan if we do. No one's going to run off half cocked."

"Agreed..." Desideirus said, thinking. "The reinforcements form Castle Naxos should cover the western barricade soon...If James' advisors are smart they won't head west anyway. They'll know we have reinforcement coming that way...They'll try to keep the capitol while pushing south to meet up with those damn scrap heaps..."
Desiderius nodded going over many different strategies in his head.
"If we can finalize the blockade around the city, and send in a strike force to attack...They'll have no way out..." Desiderius grabbed a report off a table and quickly scanned it.
"I'll foritfy the southern blockade with some spare troops I have. I'll need the rest of you and your forces to support me on the blockade, I'll also need a strike force assembled to attack the capitol once we have the blockade in place. And as for the SPSRL I'll need another company to defend our back once we clos ein on the city. They'll need to hold off the SPSRL while we strangle and obliterate the rebels..." Desiderius plotted.

"So it's safe to say the group meant to hold off the SPSRL should be either the most skilled, or largest. We can't leave an army of machines to a few of our men." Latalia says. "When the other reinforcements arrive they can helps support the blockade and front against the machines."
a soldier walks in and bows to Desiderius "Viceroy, the men have just spotted what appears to be someone trying to ride into the city." he reports.

"Well stop them!" The Viceroy shouted. "I said no one goes into or out of the city. That's what a blockade is for!" Desiderius was getting angry.
"This could be a Sectorian messanger or a special reinforcement. I want them captured if possible. Killed if neccessary." Desideirus spoke with a cold determination.
He looked over afew other reports, and barked a few orders at some runners.
"The blockade for the north, east and south will be complete within the hour. I'll need all of you to decide on a group to hold our southern position against the SPSRL, and another group to attack Lavstin, once we finish the western blockade." Desiderius spoke to the Arcadisians.

(Time to compenstate for time that's passed in Lavstin!)
the guard had left immediately after being yelled at by Desiderius.
Angela watches, rather silently as the others discussed plans and how they would deploy troops. Something they all agreed that gave them an advantage was that Lavstin was not a military city. It was more for looks than anything, which left many open areas to enter from, especially since the castle itself had an enterance for each position on a clock.
After several minutes of this planning, the soldier from before returns. "Viceroy, we have apprehended the one trying to get into Lavstin. It was a lone girl, she looks Arcadisian." he reports "We have her right outside if you want to question her." he adds, gesturing out the door to two other guards who were keeping an eye on their captive, Aleine.

Desiderius went out of the room and looked at the captive. He stared deeply at her for a moment.
"Well you aren't..." He stopped, and stood still for another moment. Desideirus closed his eyes and kept breathing steadily.
It took a few moments, and Desiderius had to brush of a messenger or two before he finally opened his eyes.
"This girl is to be brought to the third floor rooms. Find her a decent room, but keep her under surveilance. I want at least 6 guards on her at all times, and she is not to be let out of sight for any purpose." Desiderius said seriously.
"You...You will be interesting...I'll find a way to make a good use out of you." Desiderius whispered to the girl.

"Please." Aleine says calmly "I've escaped death himself, what makes you think I can't escape you?" she smirks "Lock me in a room, even with guards I'll break free, you know I'm too important for that. So you'll consider keeping me under your personal watch, where I will listen quietly and send all your plans to your brother. Go ahead Desiderius, read my mind, see all my plans. Realize trying to keep me here is impossible." she says with a little smile.
Latalia listens to Aleine speak "Draco...isn't that the voice of that girl who appeared and slapped you?" she asks

"It is." Draco says.
"SIR!!" A guard storms in. "The Rebels...they....they pirated one of our channels. Prince Elric...he...he's speaking out against the Emperor."
"WHAT?" Gunther says.
"There's more. Duke Largos...he's...he's betrayed us." The Guard says.
"Son of a Bitch." Connie snaps.
"Well then...at least I get to kill the fat slob." Gunther says.

Aleine smiles hearing this. "How wonderful. Now I'm sad I missed it, I'm sure he spoke magnificantly."
Latalia looks to the guard "You best have gotten a copy of that."

"Of course Milady." The guard says.
"Get it patched through our comms while the signal is still there. Let us here what he's saying." Gunther orders.

Desiderius scowled at both Aleine's comment and the fact that Elric had turned out to be on James side.
"Sir what about-" A guard spoke.
"She will be under my watch. You may leave." Desiderius spoke.
As the guard left Desideirus turned his attention back to Aleine. "Let me make one thing clear: I care not if James knows my plans or not. It doesn't change the fact that I have a superior strategy, more technology, and more troops. You can show him my entire hand, but the game is already over. So how about this, You stay out of my way, and I'll stay out of yours. I have too much to lose by trying to control or fight you. " Desiderius spoke quietly to Aleine.

Aleine smiles "Oh? What's this? Desiderius you're scared of me." she says "You know what I can do, and how I can throw a huge upset into your plans."
Latalia looked a bit worried about whatever Elric may have said.

"I don't fear anyone. My plans are alterable as well. Anything you throw at me will only be a slight set back." Desiderius spoke to Aleine.
