The fist connects, sending Nabiki flying backwards. She lands hard. "Ahhh..." She clutches her face. "Some gentleman you are." Nabiki says as she gets up. "Hitting a girl in the face." She spits out blood and smiles. "Now you're getting it. Keep that up and...well you're going down anyways. No more holding back." She puts her hands in a position where it looked like she was holding a ball. Soon a bright orange sphere of flame formed. "Time to bring the rain." She throws it up into the air and it explodes, raining searing flame down on Kris. (OOC: ultimate attack GO!!  ) |

Kris jumped away in fear.
The flames fell around him, one colliding with his shoulder, sending a searing pain through his entire form.
"Shit, shit" he said again as another hit him.
"Aeroa!!!" he shouted, increasing the wind flow around his body to deflect more of the flames, another slammed into his shoulder, he shouted out in pain.

Nabiki did not look pleased. "Sorry but you kind a were starting to kick my ass. I had little choice." She says as she readies her Kanabo. She strikes it again, creative a wave of columns rising out towards Kris. Part of her hoped he could still fight back.

Kris barely had time to move, he was able to avoid the strongest part of the blow but his same shoulder was clipped by the blast. He was sent spinning and rolling across the ground.
"Fuck...fuck..." he said slowly standing up. His Wind barrier had softened the blows pretty well. He ignited both his fists on fire, and "sprinted" forward towards her, his two lower wings flapping for the extra speed. He jumped and glided for a second, before touching down, and and running forward, again he jumped just before reaching her, and again they were almost face to face.
His wing opened again, and he used the same kick attack from earlier to give him a grip. He opened his other wing to spin him the other way, His other leg coming up, aimed for her chin, if this connected he'd send her into the air, and then, possibly win the match, or hurt her enough.

Nabiki didn't see it come. That's what she thought as she landed on the ground. She laid there for what seemed to be an eternity as she raised her hand. "I...yield." She said.

"Not bad Kris. Feel kinda bad for Nabi but..." Malus then stopped talking. "Oh shit, that's right."
Roy's face had a dull stare as he stood there, waiting for what would now come.

Kris fell to one knee.
"I...I...I won..." he said panting. "Thats....how'd I do..fuck" he said. He held out his hand, and waited for her to grab it, to help her up. He wanted to tell her something. Even though he was sure she knew.

"You know I didn't think you'd get THAT serious." Nabiki says as she takes his hand. "You sure you ain't part Oni?" She gets up and spits out a tooth. "Oww...now I need to wait for another one to grow in..."

Kris pulled her up, hefting her onto her feet, and then using the same motion to get off his knee. He stood almost face to face with her, before leaning in and whispering something in her ear. He pulled away, and walked over to his sword. He sheathed it on his back,
"No oni in me, I'm all White Dragon."
Leah clapped her hands louder than need be and glared at Roy the whole time.
"Good Job Kris!!!" she shouted. She glared at Roy again,
"Me and you...."

"You're not getting to me Leah. I'm ready for this. I just don't have to like it." Roy says in a sad sounding tone.

Nabiki smiles. "I know." She says as she looks at him, her words seemingly answering more that was said.

"Since Nabiki yielded, I declare the winner to be Kris!," Merlin's voice boomed through the arena. "Congratulations! The next match will start in a few minutes!"
"Oh Nabiki...," Kami said sadly. "I was hoping you'd beat Kris..."
"Well that was a good fight.," Isaac commented. "Nabiki used a rather powerful attack that I hadn't seen yet. Still, Kris won anyways without having to use a similar strength move. Smart by him actually, gives him an advantage of surprise in later fights."
"Yyyyep. That fight was just one big slugfest of who's blows hit harder.," Lance said.
"I don't know, it seemed like it was a little something more than that.," Rami pointed out. "At least for Kris it was."

Leah hissed at Roy, before going back to ignoring him.
" this is gonna be fun" She said.
Kris smiled back at Nabiki.
"I wanna talk, its been a while." He said waiting for Merlin to get them out of the room.

With a snap of his fingers, Nabiki and Kris reappeared in the observation booth.
"Now, Roy and Leah, you both are allowed to use any weapon from the rack that you want. Or you can use weapons you have brought yourself. Or you can just not use a weapon. Up to you really.," Merlin said with a yawn. Maybe I should just start reading their minds. I don't feel like asking the same thing every match.
"Nabiki!," Kami exclaimed, running over to her. "Are you ok?"

"I got a tooth that's gonna take a week to grow back. The blessings of being an Oni...it was a good fight." Nabiki says before looking back at Kris. "Lemme know when you wanna hang out Kris. No hard feelings."
"You were sloppy."
Sitting in the stands in his cook uniform was Nobunaga. "You accused him of being sentimental yet all you seemed to do is want him to fight back...why?"
"Because, he needs to learn to fight at all cost. Like you taught me and made me fight against you." Nabiki says.
Nobunaga smiles. "Then your wisdom wins out. You are growing up my Dear. I am proud of you." He then gets up and walks off, happy.
Nabiki smiles as she hugs Kami. "Thanks, both of you."

Roy looks over at the weapons rack. "I don't need any of those." Roy says as he takes up a fighting stance. "I haven't had Lord Masamune and Malus train me for nothing. Leah, when you are ready...come at me with all you got." Roy was not like he usually was. The doubt and hesitation was gone and standing there now was a confident and serious young man.

Leah hissed, her eyes looked feral, before she lunged at Roy, her claws extended, reaching for his throat, a blade of water arching across her hand.
Kris stared after Nabi,
"Yeah no problemo.....holy shit Leah."

Roy dodges and rolled aside but the water blade caught his arm. "What are you mad at more, what I said or the fact that you're not getting to me?" He says as he gets back up. "WINDAM WALLUS!!" He says, creating a vortex between them. "WINDAM WALLUS!!" He creates a few more, showing how much his power had grown. He wasn't trying to trap her in one, just restrict her movements. "Come on Leah...you better not get predictable." He says, ignoring the blood.
