Loruel sighs and looks down at Daito who was sitting on the floor next to the doorway they had both been talking to for about an hour and a half. Daito was rubbing his forehead with exhaustion and frankly his patience with this entire situation was wearing thin.
Loruel looks back at the door “Come on Gardos, come out.”
“No…I-I won’t.” Gardos’ voice comes from behind the door.
Loruel tries to open the door, but it doesn’t budge.
“Stop it with the door already he froze it shut.” Daito sighs with frustration.
Loruel glares at Daito a moment before looking at the door again “Gardos, I know it’s hard, but forget about last night. You ran off so quick Mother didn’t even get to see you.” he says, trying his best to use his talent with words to lure his brother out.
“Leave me be.” Gardos whines
“How was anyone supposed to know your ex was going to be here? You can’t let her get you down. She left you, and with a letter. A letter. And you didn’t even know she was looking at other men too. Gardos you don’t need a girl like that anyways. We’re going to find you the best girl out there today, but you’ve got to come out first.” Loruel says, trying his best to urge Gardos out of his room. He takes the silence as Gardos thinking about it “It’s her loss she chose that other man over you. So why don’t you come out, get something to eat. Then we’ll go talk to Melgath, he’s here you know, and you forget all about Evella.”
A fist of ice comes out of the door and punches Arwin square in the jaw “HER NAME IS EVANA AND SHE IS AN ANGEL!” Gardos yells at him, and sobbing can be lightly heard behind the door.
“Excellent work Loruel…now he’s even more upset.” Daito sighs
“Oh shut it.” Loruel rubs his jaw “Kurok will at least be proud of his punches…you know, before he pounds him into a paste for yesterday.”
“How did we get stuck with this again? I thought he was Castor and Arwin’s problem.” Daito sighs with disgust.
“They were going to meet Vistar to go drag V back here. And someone needs to get Gardos out of this room.” Loruel says “Now are you going to help or not?”
“What is taking Luca so long? Wasn’t he going to get Kurok? Or get that blond fool to sneak in through the window…he’s our…cousin or something.” Daito says, not sounding all too happy about that.
“You mean Phillipe? No, I don’t doubt he’s glued to his wife and child by now.” Loruel says. He rubs his forehead and looks at the door “Gardos will you please come out, this is getting ridiculous…”
“No…just leave.”

Rhis sighs and looks out the window in his room sadly. Iggy wasn’t around, he didn’t know where the little dragon had gotten off to. He scans the area below, watching the castle staff go about their morning business. His eyes wander to a balcony on an area across the castle from his room. He does a double take, unsure of what he was seeing. On that balcony he could see a man with long blonde hair facing away from him. He instantly stands up and his eyes widen with shock. “Father?” he turns around and bolts out of the room. He runs down the hallways as fast as he can, passing by several people he knew. He couldn’t tell but he thought for a second they were asking what was wrong or where he was going, but he ignores it. “Father, that was you I know it!” he thinks as he rushes down the halls that seemed to be longer than he remembered. He finally gets to the room where he had seen the man and barges in. The balcony was directly across from him and the man was now facing out, his back still to Rhis. “Father!” Rhis calls out hopefully.
the man turns his head a bit, not enough to see his face.
Rhis smiles “Father…you’re alive.” he says happily and steps towards him.
Osiron turns more to face him, and grins. He laughs happily. They share a moment of this happiness to see one another. Osiron looks as if he is about to say something, when he is suddenly struck in the chest by an arrow and staggers back. the sky fades to an unnatural dark mix of purple red and black.
“FATHER!” Rhis shouts and runs to go to his side. As he reaches the doorway to the balcony, the curtains blowing in the wind grab him and hold him back. He struggles to break free to help his father as the balcony breaks away from the rest of the castle and starts to float away into the darkness that was the rest of the world.
“Rhis……help…me.” Osiron’s voice can be heard softly as the balcony disappears.
“No!” Rhis shouts as he desperately tries to break free “Let’s me go!...Father!” As he struggles with the forces that were now binding him, a demonic roar can be heard. He looks around the void he was now in and sees the large creature from his vision in Amuldar. It flies above him and cuts the bindings. As Rhis stands and looks off in the direction his father went the creature lands. He turns to it “Please, help me go after him I can help him!”
The creature seems to laugh a little, and then turns its head. The sound of galloping hooves can be heard, slowly getting louder. The creature flies off, and Rhis looks around for an escape, feeling immense fear. He runs down a dirt path that had formed off the platform he was on. As he runs, the surroundings turn into a forest, and hoof beats get louder. He stumbles into a clearing, cornered. He looks up the path he had come from and sees the dark silhouette of a centaur in armor coming towards him. He backs up and the centaur smirks with a sinister chuckle. It raises its sword and Rhis can see a faint chain connecting to the centaurs arm. Other chains appear, making him look like a puppet being controlled. His arm comes down and a pit opens up beneath Rhis.
He falls and lands on another platform of stone floating in a void. He stands and looks around a moment, before the platform begins to quake. As he struggles to keep his footing, a colossal Atronus rises up from under the platform, smirking at him. He reaches out and grabs Rhis, squeezing him in his hand and lifting him to look at him. Rhis again struggles to break free but Atronus’ grip is too tight. Atronus holds out his arm over the platform and drops Rhis, who lands on his chest.
Rhis only has time to notice that he was now dressed in his old slave clothes before flaming chains come from under the platform. They grab onto Rhis, searing a slave brand into his skin and holding him down. He turns his head to look at the giant Atronus and sees he now had a whip. Atronus winds his arm back, and lashes down on Rhis with the whip. This repeats a few times before the chains flip Rhis over. He looks up at Atronus, panting from the pain, and watches as he winds back again. Rhis screams out this time as the whip comes down on him.
----
“AHHHHHHHHHHH!” Rhis bolts upright, sweating and breathing heavily. He looks around, confused for a moment, and rubs his back. He realizes it was fine, and that it had all just been a nightmare. A very bad one at that. He rubs his eyes a bit, holding in a breakdown even though he was alone.
Loruel looks back at the door “Come on Gardos, come out.”
“No…I-I won’t.” Gardos’ voice comes from behind the door.
