Argus and Lilittan follow, Arcturus following at Claudius' silent refusal to go first.

"So, now that we have privacy, ask anything you need to of me to get a grasp of things. It'd go faster if you ask what you need of me." Arcturus asks.

Rhis chuckles "What about-" he doesn't get to finish his sentence, before Vanora gives him a look of fear, should he finish it. He looks a bit confused, until he realizes why. "...Jagi, don't tell me you've all backed off of him." he covers.

"Rhis...he...he died. He tried to find you with another search party, but some sort of animal got him. Everyone else in the party turned back after that, but...no one mentions him too often. Especially around Airou or Lord Hyoma...Lakyri, she doesn't remember mush of him so she's usually ok..." Vanora tells him

"He's...dead?....Gregor and Travis forgot to tell me about him....damn it....thanks for stopping me." he replies.

"Mom doesn't know of some of Dad's works. She knows he's actively opposing Ildor but not that he seeks to assume leadership." Rufina whispers to Dred. "Keep it that way."

"I need to get an idea of what Dagrn's up to for one, that and I need allies to stop both him and Ildor." Arcturus says.

"You knew he was still alive?" Argus asks.

"He's not as subtle as he thinks." Claudius speaks up.

Gregor hits his forehead. "Damn I'm getting old." He realized he missed a name and mouths a 'sorry' to Rhis.

Jagi sits there. "No...I...I still ride him. Someone has to..." He knew what was going to be said. "Wait...Conner? He's alive?"

Rhis nods to Gregor as a sign that it was ok. he then looks to Loruel.

"If that's who he's talking about then apparently." Loreul says "He said 'Can you ask Sissy if Travis can go look for his no necissarily dead friend with me?' So I would assume so. He sees the souls of the living and dead so this isn't an odd request."

Honzai enjoys the kiss for a moment until the carriage jerks suddenly. "What the Hell?"

There was a taping at the window and Honzai feels a massive aura. "Shit, he got me as the others arrived..." Honzai opens the curtain to see Ginza standing there.

Ginza waves sheepishly. "He wanted to say hi."

"Brother...come on out." A voice says.

"Dwarvesss fight with raw power. You ssstrike me asss more of an agile fighter. Like one of my kind." Bazuzu says.

Travis looks at him for a moment before laughing and going where he pointed. "This will be interesting."

"No, Aldric's just being an ass." Honzai opens the door and steps out. "What is it you damned idiot? I'm on a date, my first break in months."

"You should have come. I can understand Vadris, but you..." Aldric stands there, spreading his multicolored wings.

"It was for a good cause you crybaby." Honzai groans. "Besides it's not like I'm not gonna see enough of you....and to the point I'm your freaking Boss now."

"Not true, I am the boss, you're my second in command." Kaizo says.

"YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!" Honzai says. "I flipping outrank him, jeez." He was embarrassed. "Now you're making me look like a fool in front of her..."

"Are you now?" It was more like Aldric was asking Freya than he was Honzai.

"That's easy; the people." Dred says "If there had to be a King, he'd be a figurehead. Only meant to interact with other nations. Ideally, the country could be divded, and the people in those areas could elect someone to speak in their names. That person would have to speak the opinions of his or her people. The counsel or whatever it would be called, or these representatives would vote on policies for the country." Dred says fluidly, as if he had been prepared for it.

Sylph looks at him "Have you had this conversation before?"

"Nope."

I didn't want her getting in trouble or hurt while I went off doing...things." he sighs "I feel terrible...but she insistend she would be alright...she's from a far off country. Odd race too, I think she'll pass as a Barilli."

"Not even with Rondar?" Dagren asks, sounding a bit more annoyed.

"Honey, be nice." Cordelia says.

Rowan chuckles "Not like that Logos! I mean that her race is odd, to natives of here anyways. I wasn't calling Barilli odd. Her species is much like a barilli, so I'm hoping she'll pass as one."

"Well, think a barilli, only instead of feline features, those of a canine." Rowan explains "And she has an adorible accent. He native language is quite lovely..."

"So he's not a man of the people?" Dagren asks. "I'm not trying to sound antagonistic, I'm just trying to ask how he is. He's basically a stranger to me and in truth I'd like to be on the same side...if he'd stop judging me on the past."

"With the king, and some Princess from the other side he thinks will help bring Father to us." Honzai says.

"Then what am I doing here?" Aldric says.

"Wait, we're to fortify things here." Kaizo says.

"Remember your place Kaizo." Aldric says.

"Remember yours. We obey Vadris. He said come here and guard this place." Kaizo says. "Your father's final orders were to obey Vadris. Dare you defy his will?"

Aldric's eyes shone a bright yellow as he lets out a frustrated snarl.

Kurak heads to the gates, his men close behind. "I sssee how much of a fool I wasss to not ssside with you sssooner. Your friendsss...even the former nobility...they fight with honor." He says to Avynne. "How shortsssighted of me."
