"Evana." Osiron says warningly

"What...one of them turned out to be alive...you'd think they'd be greatfull of that..."

"Evana." Osiron repeats. "I won't warn you again."

"Well, she can come over here...and we over there. It's just she never does, and to go over there would break her rules...I guess you don't have people like us...Vito was lucky..." Luca sighs "Loruel wants mother to have her power back. It's in the wall." he says "And of course your father watches you...I just told you he was...silly. That must be why you didn't react...you didn't listen." he chuckles "Funny...I wonder if you missed the other too....so funny you are."

"I hope so...though, my family is dreadfully boring...what's left of it anyways." Freya sighs.

"I ssssee....ssso thisss Thimoss ownsss you in a way....hmmm...don't think I'm going to let him hang that over your head ssssweet Princssse. If he bargessss in here with the idea he can order you around I'll give him a piecssse of my mind." Avyne says "And I tend to think with my whip when I'm crossss."

"Best I not tell you, so at no point are you responsible." Rowan says "To assure you: no one will be harmed and it is in the name of protection. And I don't mean that in a bad way, anyone would think what I have ordered protection."

"That...isn't very reassuring." Vortigern says

"Trust me, in this case, ignorance is truely bliss." Rowan says.

"I've seen a lot in my time. Things you'd be surprised at me for forgiving." Cordelia says.

Dagren looked away, as if to imply his actions in the past were being mentioned.

"Would you do any less if it was your sister, or one of Osiron's men who was killed by them?" Rowena speaks up. "Tell me Evana...ever lose anyone close to you like that?"

"I'm trying to understand that actually. Did you mean my sword spirit...thing as one of the voices?" Travis asks.

"Alright, but if it is not what you say it is and my code requires me to do so, I will test myself against a legend. Power or not, I will act as I must for Lord Rondar." Logos says. "Him and the boy."

"Right...won't ask." Dred says

"Would you just hurry up and start, we're waiting for you." Sylph finally says to him.

Dred laughs "Alright, alright. Let's see if I can hold a fork like a civilized person." he shakes his head and takes a first bite, getting a little bit of everything at once. he eats and chews a moment before his eyes widen and he looks at his mother as if she were some sort of Goddess "Mummy...dif if deliffuf..." he says with a mouthful of food, and then digs in.

Egriphel chuckles "I can't tell if he like it my Lady..." he jokes.

"I can't blame someone for having a different personality than myself now can I?" Shaylin smiles.

"Sissy and I are orphans. So yes." Evana says simply.

"then please think of it like that." Rhisiart says

"And mine too boring." Freya says "We both win, we should balance each other out." she smiles

"Yeah well, if he'sss changed hisss mind in the passt yearsss, I'll whoop him if he triesss anything fishy." Avyne says

"how do you contact him?" Sireth asks

"I'd think less of you if you didn't." Rowan smiles "that's right...the boy. One of Sissy's suitors! Good to hear Rondar and he reunited."

"Thank you Swetie." Cordelia says.

"Quick question. Is he a vampire too?" Argus asks.

"I'm a Dhampir, half human too my friend. *sigh* No, he just made a deal with me to remain alive, he's as human as your girlfriend is." Arcturus says.

"I question if she can. To know such hate, such pain...to have it feel the core of your being as it does me, as I presume him...one who knows i would not question it." Gustav speaks up.

"Why couldn't you sense someone?" Travis asks. "How does that work anyways?"

"I wouldn't wish that kind of balance on Thimos." Honzai jokes.

"There isss a spell with a pendant he gave us. I will have Jirek fetch it before he comesss." Kurak smirks. "You are sssweet but you needn't worry."

"I am glad we have an understanding." Logos thinks. "Would you see her remain in Ildor's hands?"

Sylph watches Dred eat and chuckles "It's not so bad..." she says and chews a small bite.

"But I'm a sorceress..." Shaylin says.

Rhisiart nods "Yes, that's true...." he looks at Evana "then I would ask you do your best to try to understand."

Evana smiles at him "Alright Rhisy."

"Easy. If you are dead, I sense you're soul as dead, without a body. If you are alive, you have a body. If I don't sense you, you don't exist. I even feel those who have moved on..." Luca says "when I said I couldn't sense them, I meant as a dead soul. I see mostly dead souls. the living I have to look into, its a bother, mother says it's good for me to know the difference." he smiles, having fun trying to get Travis to figure it out. "For example, I know my big brother rowan is alive, because I feel his soul has a body. But I know his father is dead, because he is a dead soul with no body."

Freya giggles "what, don't you want to meet in the middle?"

"Worrying issss what I do." Avyne says.

"One good thing about my brothers, they will not let harm fall on her. So I don't mind it. She may go where she wishes so long as she is safe." Rowan says "I can have such confidence because each of my brothers and I, are hardwired with an urge to protect the females of our family. One that is passed on in out children, and is stronger the closer you are to the source." he pauses "the one exception....may be Rhisiart, for obvious reasons."

"Like I said, it's nothing I haven't sen before." Cordelia sits down finally.

"Then is what you're seeing with me any different than that?" Travis asks.

"I fear with my family it'd be 60-40. You don't know how those ego's clash." Honzai says.

"That's rather sweet." Allarine teases.

Kurak snorts and looks away, blushing.

"Ahhh...the pride of youth." Bazuzu says.

"Who are you kidding?" Kurak says. "You're assss shy asss me."

"But that does not compensate for Vadris, whose pedigree you must know of. If there was ever one to match your legendary power it's his accursed bloodline." Logos says.

"Thash goo." Dred says.

"though the talking with your mouth full is a bit offputting." Sylph says.

"I figured he would be." Shaylin says "such a funny term...human." she muses.

"Right." Osiron nods.

Rhis smiles, happy that had ended swiftly.

Daito glances aat Loruel "You don't think the runt will cause any trouble do you?" he asks

"He shouldn't...he's awful talkative today, he likely just wants to work that out of his system." Loruel responds.

"No...not you. Someone else. Someone close..." Luca says

"Well...at least you have me?" Freya says "I don't argue with anyone."

Avyne an Navu both laugh.

"Ssso, in the meantime, what shall we do?" Sireth asks

"Yes, he is a potential issue. With any luck though, Vanora is like mother and can make him convert." Rowan says

"Convert?" Vortigern asks

"The three demons of the wall-Vinitia, Caedmon and Brann-all live a different lifestyle than most demons. they have given up their demonic ways, to be more like...animus I supose. They do so, and they retain one demonic atribute, and the rest of them is what is classically considered 'good'. Mother was the first to do this, when she fell in love with my father. Then Brann, and with him, Caedmon. Brann turned becasue he has always loved my mother but the unfortunate fellow is the one person she only wants to be a friend to. Caedmon, well, he's a bit older than me, and he came with his master. Albeit, with time the decision became his own."

Vortigern nods "I see...so this Brann was the master of Caedmon...what happened to him? And, I have heard of Caedmon having an apprentice, where does he fit in?"

Rowan pauses "Oops...said a bit too much I did....well, it's more of their secret, not mine. The boy is Brann. See, the two adapted my form of immortality. It's sort of a cycle. Brann was the master, he had to give power for the wall, but didn't want to die. So, they created a spell that would reincarnate him. For thousands of years, Brann re-developed in a sort of magic womb, Caedmon his care taker. When he woke up, he had no memories of his past self. They've been waiting for everything to come back to him. So he has no knowledge of it all. It's not a bad system of immortality, but you do have to have another person involved to do it."

Vortigern pauses "there is a lot going on with those three..."

"At least he has lips." Rufina looks at Vossh eating and shudders.

"It is a strange thing for us is it not? Yet on the other side of the wall they thrive." Arcturus says.

"So tell me more of your family on the other side. I'm am sure your long lost siblings would enjoy to hear more of their mother." Ildor asks Vanora.

"Bad thing?" Travis readies his blade. "Or something else?"

"I am glad for that." Honzai puts his arm around her and holds her close. "Thank you for that."

"We prepare further, the smaller squads should begin to map out plans of attacks and gather equipment." Noctis says.

"So Rhisart is this Brann?" Logos snarls. "Now I truly loathe leaving him in their clutches."

"Oh pish posh little kitty friend." A voice rings out. "He's safest there for now. He's too valued by multiple parties for that winged buffoon to even consider touching her."

Logos turns. "Who is that?"

Suddenly appearing in a puff of purple smoke was a demonic looking jester. "I come in peace,...and in one piece and quite frankly I prefer to remain that way." The jester then sees Vortigern and waves. "Hey Vorti, haven't seen you since the Boss and Lady Aikia joined your merry band. Is Rondar still a grumpypants?"

Logos looks at Votigern and back at him.

"I am Svendal, Royal Jester of the Devil king himself. A servant of the Prince while he sleeps. He sent me to keep an eye on you both and give the Queen a face she has seen before among the ranks to know of our validity." The Jester thinks. "She had a cute laugh, I wonder if she still does?"

[Inkshade]

Sylph glances "Yes, he has that..."

Dred swallows "I think he's doing fine...got more ettiquite than the boys back in the day."

"I hear it's the norm there though, there aren't enough magic folk to bother them." Shaylin says

Vanora smiles "Well, honestly a majority of them are over here." she chuckles "But let's see, both my mother and father are doing fine...gratned father is a bit paranoid about the wall, but I'm sure that will go as more relations are established and when he learns of Rhis' survival. Mother has kept him in line in the time being. Nothing has happened to her since that was bad..." Vanora says, trying to report for her brothers.

"That's good to hear." Loruel smiles "She should come here and pay a visit sometime."

"That or you can go to her." Vito says "After Drystan has been informed of course. He might be suspitious when he sees Daito is blue."

"Well mother is blueish grey, isn't he used to it?" Daito asks

"No, she had me disguise her as a human remember?" Vito sighs "She looks a bit like Vanora now....boy I hope Drystan can handle learning the truth...the snakes might startle him..."

Rhis and Vanora exchange looks, and both wonder what their mother was suposed to look like.

"Nooooo, close to you. Not in position in....emotion." Luca smiles "Someone you are close with...a...friend." his eyes were wide and he stared at Travis, hoping he would get it finally.

Freya smiles "No need to thank me I'm perfectly content with it."

"Sounds good." Navu nods.

"Oh, she does. How could she lose it?" Rowan smiles "And no, Rhisiart isn't Brann. Brann is...Brann. The boy who serves Caedmon now, was once served by Caedmon. They have a deal to switch back and forth. When the master is near his end, the student will cast a spell and make the master be reborn. The student them becomes the master, and when the old master is reborn, he is now the student. And so on. It's really not that complex...if Rhisiart is anyone it's me..." he muses, then laughs "I sound like Theogorn..."

[Dynamax]

Vossh looks at them all then goes back to eating, not caring about the comments.

"Can't stop a Gelgath while he feeds." Dagren says.

"Well from what I understand there's more than you know."
Arcturus says. "So, you seek Rondar too? For what reason?"

"To stop my Uncles from fighting." Argus says.

"To end this war, a noble effort. But why not just hide in obscurity with your girl once the spell she has on her is broken?" Arcturus asks.

"I...well...there's no guarantee we'd know peace." Argus says.

"A wiser answer." Arcurus says. "And you My Lady, why seek Rondar?" He asks Shaylin.

"So at on time she had a more demonic form?" Phillipe asks. "Well I trust she was still as beautiful as she is now."

----------

"Conner..." Travis says, lowering his sword. "Damn it."

Shitan looks around, as a faint memory pops into his head. "Travis?"

"As I am content with you." Honzai says. He then chuckles. "This seems to be taking forever, not that I mind."

"Alright then, shall we go off and prepare Sireth?" Noctis asks.

-----------

"Don't stress yourself, minds like the Catman's have trouble figuring out us demon types." Svendal says.

Logos lets out a growl of anger.

"Down Logos, I mean no offense, it's just fact. Some demons are outright bizarre." Svendal the takes his head and literally removes it from his body. "No need to lose your head over it....get it?" He begins to juggle it as he laughs for a while before putting it back on. "Sorry, had to work that out of my system."

[Inkshade]

Dred nods, and goes back to eating as well.

"To see if he is anything like his mother...my family gave their lives for her. I'd like to fight for that same cause that we all thought worthy before, but I must be sure he is worthy of it." Shaylin says.

"Of course you weren't there to see it Phillipe, but your siblings might recall a statue in Caedmon's castle? The female was her true form." Vito says. "I do suspect she will want me to revert her back to that form when all is revealed..."

"Yup. That's the one..." Luca smiles "His soul is strange....I can't figure it out....never felt something like it....it stands out. Wouldn't have noticed it if it didn't, too far away." he stretches "I want to meet him...and see why....we should go sometime."

"Me neither. I like talking with you." Freya smiles

"Yesss, let'ssss." Sireth nods and stands

"That's alright, just not in front of my mother's people, they're going to be freaked out by Logos and myself as it is." Rowan smiles

"So...what's Rondar like?" Cordelia asks.

Dagren puts down his utensils. "Honey, why are you asking that?"

"I want to know, he's family after all." Cordelia says.

"I...so be it. Answer her boy." Dagren says.

"An even better answer." Arcturus answers. "It's something I to wish to know of."

Cassius looked a bit embarrassed. "Yes..we...we did."

"You thought some naughty thoughts over Auntie didn't you?" Iago teases.

"Someone slap him." Phillipe says.

Jagi reaches over and smacks Iago.

"Thanks Jagi." Phillipe says.

"No problem Fancypants." Jagi answers.

"Wait...is he somehow...alive?" Travis asks, still confused over this.

"I like the talking, and the holding, and the scent of your perfume..." Honzai trailed off for a second. "I mean...I like everything about you."

"WELL, I GOTTA GO GET MERU AND THE OTHERS AND BRING THEM UP TO SPEED. WANT COME TAROG?" Andor asks.

"WHAT THE HELL, I'M NOT BUSY." Targo says.

"Well no promises. If minds are already blown it'd be like tossing a match into a flame." Svendal says. "I'll do my best though."

"Sir yes sir..." Dred mutters and sets down his utensils "He's a good leader and a good man. On the battle field, he'd never leave a man behind, even if it were impossible to save his life, he'd at least want him to die in peace. He's got a bit of a temper, but I reckon that son of his is going to cure him of that, if Miss Mora doesn't get to him first. He's not some barbarian, he a good leader, with good morals and...well frankly the kind of guy I could die for and be satisfied." he says

"Well, then we'll both find out." Shaylin smiles.

Lakyri pats Cassius "It's ok, we all know Phillipe is worse."

"And he hasn't seen that statue." Claire adds.

"Sort of....yes? I'm not quite sure. He's different...that's why I want to go see." Luca says

Freya blushes and smiles "I like everything about you too. Your hair...tatoos. You don't laugh at me when I fall...you're suave."

"Everyone elsssse do what you need to prepare. Tomorow will be a long day..." Sireth says

"That's all I can ask." Rowan smiles he looks ahead at what looked like the same old trees they had been parting all the while "Hmm...we're getting close."

"And what's your problem with him?" Cordelia asks Dagren.

"Misentia informed him of her misguided view of me it seems." Dagren says.

"Indeed." Arcturus opens the door to his room. "After you."

"I'm over my crush on her. Besides she is family and I was but a lad." Phillipe says.

Travis stood there stunned for a moment, not sure of what to make of this. "He's...alive..."

"No, I'll just do my best to be there to catch you." Honzai says.

"Alright, I'll consult with out centaurs with Winoi, then the dwarves." Noctis says.

Logos looks ahead. "So, anything I need to know about?"

"Well, give him reason to think otherwise." Dred says

"Yes, but Lord Cassius shouldn't fret." Claire smiles "He's not nearly as much of a deviant as you."

"I'm pretty sure....he's not completely dead at least....." Luca says. he is quiet a moment and then cocks his head "We....could go look for him..."

Freya smiles "I know you will always be."

Navu nods "I'll go get the elves ready..."

"Well, you're well perpared for their shock at seeing a cat walking on two legs so...not really." Rowan smiles
