[Dynamax]

"Do you dare defy me?" Vadris steps forward. "Caedmon, I heard you were wise. I guess that was the real myth of you." He then summons an energy sword. "Time to see if killing you will have any effect on the wall."

Elias rises. "Lord Vito...I thank you." He takes his Polearm and spins around. "Vadris, for your crimes against my family and the woman I love i will end you this day."

"Psh...don't make me get serious Boy. I don't want to upset Vanora by killing you on accident." Vadris flares his wings.

"You...couldn't on my worst DAY!!" Elias creates a ring of fire around them and then charges Vadris.

"Oh please." Goshin rolls his eyes. "You think I'm not used to being targeted first by people?"

"No, I think they ignore you and go for the real threats. Like the faceless grunts you command." Jagi says.

"Great, piss him off. That's smart." Octavia says.

"Alright, let me see where they are." Adona says, however the image on the mirror is distorted. "What the..."

"Elias...you mean your friend from the other side? Rondar's boy." Hector says. "That's not good. Vadris will likely kill him."

"Brother, quit being so morbid." Gilbert says.

Vito picks up Vanora and holds her "Sister....I will not fail you." he says quietly.

"I am what many consider wise Vadris. It is you who are the fool. You instantly attack me. What did I do that was hostile? Calm the girl down? Make it so she would hear you, so that, if the fates allowed you could get close to her? My, I'm such a devil." he says as the winds start to pick up around them. "And even if you.." he chuckles "Somehow killed me...such a silly prospect....It would do nothing to the wall. I helped build it, but other powers keep it standing." he says

Brigada draws her sword "Enough talk! If you are going to so inhospitable to attack us then do it and meet your fate!" she snaps.

Estelle frowns "What's wrong with it?"

"Some sore of interference?" Mirael frowns "That can't be a good thing."

"Kill him?" Rhis' eyes widen "But...all he's doing is looking for Vanora!"

Osiron frowns "...We've been called to the King, we have to go. Your friend is becoming close to his father. If that is what is going on, then, I'm sorry son but he will be an enemy of the Kingdom."

"Is there any way we can intervene? If my sister is any sort of danger...I don't want her becoming an enemy..." Rhis asks

"I don't want to risk you getting incriminated. It's going to be hard enough getting Ildor to accept you as it is." Osiron says

Vaughn thinks "We could call my sister...say we have reason to believe something is going on...ask permission to investigate..."

[Dynamax]

"No, it's because you've not helped me get through. I came to you once and you denied me." Vadris yells. "I WILL have my Father back, but you made it clear that you'd stand in my way. You're just like the wall, an obstacle to be removed."

He then takes aim and fires a blast at Caedmon.

"Oh? When have i attacked?" Goshin says. "Merely talking you angry little woman. "My my, you're trying too hard to be tough. Must be hard Brigarda. i mean to live with such fear hidden away. I mean to deny your femininity is one thing but you sometimes wonder if your defenses will end up driving away any chance at love...kind of a quandary is it not?"

"What the...where is he getting this?" Jagi says.

"and you, hiding your fears behind snarky comments. Afraid that your wisdom will fail your friends...well you'll hate fighting me." Goshin grins.

"A mind reader." Jagi sneers. "DAMN IT!!"

"Indeed. You should have stuck with Honzai or someone. I'm your worst nightmare." Goshin then levitates some rocks and flings them at the group.

"MOVE!!" Octavia tackles Brigarda tot he ground as Jagi dodges.

"What could be causing it?" Ildor asks.

"What indeed little brother....what indeed." A spectral voice says.

Ildor's face goes white. "It...it cannot be. Dragen..you're....you're dead. I killed you myself."

"Heh heh heh heh...you thought you did. You forgot how deceptive I am. Body doubles dear brother. I thought you learned what a King needs to do to live. You will not see what your little friends are up to, nor can you go there. You try, you will wind up dead center in the midst of my armies alone...and you will die...just like your little wife." The voice of this Dragen speaks up.

"You...you bastard." Ildor says.

"Are you willing to do what needs to be done Rhisart?" Hector says. "What if to save your sister you must turn on your friends?"

"HECTOR!!" Gilbert yells and floats down right in his face. "how dare you ask him that!!! He is not us, he is not the king. Don't put him in that spot. Do you wish for him to suffer as we have? As his father...I...Lord Osiron..." Gilbert turns. "Forgive me. I speak out of turn myself."

[Inkshade]

Caedmon rolls his eyes and raises an arm. two streams of wind intercept the blast and block it. they then continue on at Vadris as blades of wind "Foolish child. You still do not understand what I said do you? Even if I did have a reason to help you, I couldn't. who builds a wall to make it easy to destroy? There are various conditions that need to be met in order for the wall to be destroyed. You best watch youself boy, because there are only two who know what those things are. And one of them is on the other side. the other is myself. The more you insult me, the more you anger me...the smaller your chance of ever seeing your father again is." he smirks "I'd be begging for forgiveness if I were you."

While he was concentrating on the others, Claire sneaks up behind Goshin and tosses three knives at him. "the problem with mind games I imagine is you have to concentrate on one mind. how dare you speak to Lady Brigada and my cousin that way." she glares

Airou stays close to Aikia, not wanting to leave her side.

Estelle frowns and takes a small paper seal from the lining of her sleeve and presses it into her palm discretely. she places her hand on Ildor's shoulder, beinging sure the seal touched his skin "How dare you speak that way to the king." she says "My King, shall I contact Lord Osiron and tell him to go see what is going on? It can't be good if Dragen is trying to hide it from you." she tells him telepathically through the seal.

Osiron frowns "No...It's alright...I only ask you try not to mention it any further around rhis until I have time to tell him myself."

"Lord Gilbert, it alright, I don't mind Lord Hector asking me that." Rhis says and looks at Hector "I'm ready to do what I have to to protect the ones I love. If my friends are the ones putting them in danger then....well they aren't really my friends are they." he says.

[Dynamax]

"You are wrong. The key is within that boy's hands." Vadris says. "You're redundant little fool. I will take that boy and lay waste to the wall with it's secrets." He then rushes forward.

"Take it IF YOU CAN!!" Elias meets him and parries his sword with his weapon.

"You're a fool Boy. I have crushed men stronger than you and your Father combined." Vadris snarls.

"Words, just meaningless WORDS!" Elias yells.

Goshin's tongue shoots out behind him and knocks them out of the air.

"Actually no. I do not possess such a weakness. Maybe as a kid I once did but years of training have made me into the strongest mind in the known world. If I wanted to i could reach into your heads and have you kill each other. You fools..." Before Goshin could talk more Logos pounces on him. "AAAHHH!!!"

Logos snarls as he slashes at him with his claws.
"How did you..." Goshin pushes him back.

Logos flips and lands near Jagi. "Clear your minds, find a way to fight on instinct. He's counting on your reactions. Get intuitive."

"Play your games witch. I can tell your communicating with Ildor." An eye forms on the screen and blinks. "I seeeee you." Mocking laughter is soon heard. "It's not that I am hiding things from you...after all i'm not that hypocrite Osiron. I just want your attention as I do this."

The screen changes to the outside of an all to familiar scene as the Father of Kurak leaps out of the window of Ildor's bedroom only to land and transform into a cloaked demon and run off.

"Wh...what is...this?" Ildor says.

"What happened outside of your room that day. You killed an innocent man. I have sent crystals of this to key places in your organization, and to the Gelgath nation. King Survek's innocence has been proven, as has your guilt. Tell Gustav he gave up his humanity for nothing." Dragen says. "Might want to show this to Vadris. He might know the assassin...or worse."

"Are you implying he killed the king's first wife?" Adona says.

"Oh? So quick to defend her? Touching. I would believe it. He killed Father after all and framed me for it." Dragen says. "I'm back brother...see you in Hell real soon." The image fades to reveal Vadris begin struck in the face by Elias.

"I....what the Hell has..." Ildor was growing furious.

"But what if they have just cause? Do see it from an open mind." Desmond says.

"Sympathizing with rebels again?" Hector says.

"Do not speak thus to me Hector. You do not want an enemy in me." Desmond says.

"Stand DOWN!!" Rowena says. "Next guy to try and whip it out will be dealing with me, and there are plants in this room i can use."

[Inkshade]

Caedmon sighs and shakes his head "This is why I don't have children...." he closes his eyes, when he opens then they have a faint glow. "Apparantly I must be redundant Vadris, for you are a young fool. That book cannot bring down the wall. A demon of my caliber gave most of their power to ensure it was so."

"Instict huh?" Claire says "That sounds like Airou. I think I can do things his way."

Estelle moves her hand.

"So...now we have him too..." Mirael mutters. she looks at the mirror "Vadris...he is with the Five?"

"Shall I send word to them? I do have an emergency way of contacting my sister." Estelle asks

"She's right. We have more pressing matters." Osiron says

Rhis nods "Yes, I need to see if my sister is ok...even If you go to the castle father...I have to be sure. If someone goes with me, then you can be sure I am ok....Desmond! Desmond you can teleport, and your bound to Vadris so you could easily find him right?"

[Dynamax]

"Not alone, no. But with all three even YOUR power is nothing more than a joke." Vadris grins. "I have the Demon book and the elven one is within my grasp. With the book of humans I will have the power." Vadris gets up and rubs his face. "Pathetic...to think your fist could do more than annoy me. Son of Rondar, I am trying not to harm you. I just want the book. It is the property of the King. Give it back and i might just call off the attack."

Elias looks at Vadris and sneers. "YOU THINK ME A FOOL?" He rushes him and slashes at him. "You want your goal at any cost and prey on Vanora's compassion. I pity you...I know your pain all too well but you'd crush innocents to get your goals."

The blade cuts into Vadris' chest, hissing angrily he goes for a thrust and manages to graze Elias' left bicep.

"It is because of people like Caedmon. 'He deserves to rot.' IDIOTIC FOOLS!!! ANYONE WHO DARES TO THINK THAT IS THE ONE THAT NEEDS SUFFERAGE!!!" Vadris yells. "MY FATHER IS A PRISONER, SUFFERING ALONE INHUMANELY!!!"

"The ends cannot justify the means Vadris." Elias says. "You cannot see that so I am forced to stop you...for all who you'd ruin."

Octavia rushes in headlong.

Goshin cackles and lashes out with his tongue, snaring her by the leg with it. "I am not without my means. Now i have a hostage."

A blast fires out and shred the tongue halfway.

"You have nothing." Aikia glares, having fired the blast.

"AAAUUUUUUGGGGHHHHH!!" Goshin retracts what was left of his tongue. "WITCH!!!"

"The camp of Melgeth is along the path. He must have come to render assistance." Adona says. "Do it Estelle."

Desmond reaches out. "Something blocks me. I can get close but i fear warping there would be lethal for you."

[Inkshade]

"Ugg...putting words in my mouth, this is why I live in seclusion." Caedmon sighs "And Technically if it's the book of humans it belongs to Prince Ammon, but that's besides the point. Vadris your temper tantrums are getting rather irritting. Now I have given up on my rage but if you really want me to break from my pact then you are on the fast tract to doing so."

"You should be calling her a saint I would have cut the whole thing out!" Airou says and charges in, his mind blank. He was good at fighting on instict, in real battle its all he really did.

Estelle nods and pulls out another seal. she holds it between her hands and activaes it.

"Damnit..." Rhis punches the floor.

Evana's eyes suddenly start glowing red "Lord Osiron..." she says, in Estelle's voice.

Osiron looks "Estelle? You're using the seal? What's wrong."

"There is a situation. the Hell's Force Five were sent out to dispose of Rondar and his men, and it seems to be going ill. Vadris had to join them for some reason, and the King's brother for some reason didn't want us to see all of it. He lives as it would seem. King Ildor wants you to go aid them. They are somewhere beyond Melgath's camp, I trust Desmond can guide you there."

"What? Dragen lives?" Osiron frowns "So be it...Rhis it seems you get your wish. Princess, Vaughn, you two will stay here while we go. Cazo, Jast, you will stay as well." he says and helps Rhis up putting something in his hand. it was a small red jem "This is yours now. If you need protection, activate it." he looks to Vaughn "Here, while we are gone, should anything happen shatter this." he says taking out the orb Ildor had given him "It was given to me by Ildor to use in case Rowena was in danger."

Vaughn pushes his hand back "I'm going to have to respectfully decline good Lord. I will not be staying here." he looks at Rowena and smiles "I think I can speak *cough* for the both of us when I say that you aren't going to go risk your lives and leave us here. If someone there is using magic with those marks," he points to Rhis "then you will need me to read them, and we can't leave the Princess alone." he says.

[Dynamax]

"Then why didn't you try and help me at all? ANYTHING would have been better than your cold shoulder." Vadris says.

"Because maybe he knows scum needs to stay SEALED!!" Thimos rakes Vadris' face with his claws.

"I've had ENOUGH!!" Vadris eyes begin to glow like embers.

Goshin staggers back when a blast of fire blocks Airou's path.

"Heh heh heh." Trophis and Crytax flank Goshin. "Fat ball needs help."

"Shut up and be serious and remember, no kills." Crytax says.

Ildor storms out of the room. "You're in command until i return Adona." He then disappears.

----------------

"What of the pick up?" Hector asks. "Are we to proceed with that?"

"What is going on with that yes?" Gilford pops his head in.

"We will make it." A black figure appears in shadow. "And go in full force."

"Father?" Rowena gasps.

Standing there with his sword was Ildor. "i must deal with this personally now."

"I gave you nothing becase I strive to be a neutral force. And it is not my choice if the wall stays up or falls. At least not mine alone. If you want that, then you have to first ask the other two, and then we would deliberate over it. IF you weren't being such a brat and asked nicely, I could have explained this, and that as soon as all three of us meet up again I would bring up your request. HOWEVER, that is impossible at the moment as one of the other two has...amnesia for lack of a better term, and the other is living somewhere on the other side, we'd have to go get her." Caedmon says "I came here to settle down my Godchilld that you, through an either incredibly twisted and strangely well thought out, or blind and absolutely childish mistake, confused beyond all reasonable belief. I don't give a damn which of you boys she ends up picking, its when you start acting foolishly and threaten her safety that I move in. For example, you would have eventually found that she could have gotten you through and destroyed the wall. but you wouldn't have known that doing so would kill her. So, she, wide eyed and lovong would have helped you, at the cost of her own life. And then, you'd have worse issuses than finding your father that's for sure."

Airou arcs his movement slightly and then leaps through the fire, and comes down on the demons with his blades.

"Ahhh, I missed his reckless moves..." Claire smiles and speeds off, collecting some of her dropped knives only to fling them at the demons from behind.

Estelle opens her eyes and the seal burns away. "What shall we do now my Queen?"

Mirael sighs "Well, I'd better send word to my uncle..."

Osiron nods "Ildor." he can't help that the way he shifted his weight on turning made it almost seem like Rhis was something bad he had been caught with.

Rhis turns and looks at the King. He resists his instincts to fall to his knees and bow, and instead just crosses his arm across his chest and bows slightly.

Vaughn bows his head "Then *cough*, Shall we make haste?"

Iggy slips outside when Gilford opens the door, and proceeds to roar at the far bigger dragons.

[Dynamax]

"I would never do that...NEVER!! I love her." Vadris says as a change comes over him. "My father needs me, he suffers alone on the other side. If you got a friend over then you could provide me more help, tried something even if it didn't work...that's all i ever asked. You...The Devil King...every one i ask denied me again and again. No sympathy, no remorse...you force me to become this. Desperate because it's all I have left." His skin has become a bluish silver and his wings became more menacing as spikes grew on him. "So if it means I am not to your liking you only have yourself to blame. Now...give me the book."

Trophis doesn't see the attack and is stabbed. However he quickly goes to headbutt Airou, who was close enough.

"Yes, we should do that and fortify this place. If word gets out that Ildor is not here, or if this is what Dagren wanted then we need to be ready." Adona says.

--------------

"You can tell me what it is you were going to say en route Osiron. I already promised your Estelle i would be open minded." Ildor says. "Desmond, take Rowena home. There is little vegetation for her to wield in those hills."

"No, I am coming." Rowena says.

"Whatever for?" Ildor asks, annoyed.

Gilbert clears his throat and glances Osiron's way.

Caedmon sighs "So you've found my catch. I do nothing if it doesn't benefit me, and nothing I do comes free. I'm a demon after all." he looks at him and sighs "My friend I am bombarded with tantrum throwing children...at least yours are behaving themselves for the most part." he thinks.

Vito keeps a close hold on Vanora, happy she was knocked out and couldn't hear Vadris.

Airou takes the hit and leaps back a bit with his swords. he uses the leap to get over his dizzieness and charges at Trophis again.

Estelle and Mirael nod. Mirael starts out "I'll do that immediately."

Osiron glances at Gilbert and sighs "Likely...for a similar reason to why you don't want her to go." he says "She...doesn't want someone getting hurt." he pauses "It will make more sense after you hear what I have to tell you..."

A sort of squealing is heard outside, and Iggy comes running back in. He runs between Ildor's legs and directly to Rhis. He whimpers at his feet and tugs on his pant leg to be picked up, his tail looked like it had been bitten.

"Well that what you get for irritating them..." he sighs quietly and picks him up.

Osiron watches and sighs "We should go."

"They say the greatest evil is when good men do nothing. If you had some foresight and helped me you might have stopped me from becoming what I am now. You might have prevented the loss of life that may stem from it and what already had been lost. So you can say all I have done since our first encounter was...your fault too."

Vadris takes flight. "Now I will crush all you hold dear and anything that tries and stop me." The skies goes black as night as energy ripples around him. The sky too seemed to be alight with power as purple bolts of energy flashes. And if one looked at Vadris blood red tears would run down his face. "DIE CAEDMON!!" A blast of purple energy shoots out of his hands.

Thimos dashes back and shields him.

"THIMOS!!" Elias yells.

The blast stops and Thimos stands there, burnt and bleeding. "I'm...fine."

"Thimos...ever the fool. If you had not interfered perhaps I would have known peace with your sister and let go of it all. But your hate always blinded you." Vadris says.

"You...you could never stop." Thimos hisses. "Honzai would not let you. You would not let yourself let go...and you know it. I wasn't about...to see you drag...Aikia down to Hell with you."

"That is a matter of opinion Thimos. Regardless you are just as guilty as Caedmon. I'll kill you too and be glad for it. Then after you, I will figure out what to do with your sister before going to where Nostroth lies and wiping him off the face of the Earth." Vadris chuckles.

"You...you wouldn't dare..." Thimos falls down on one knee.

A blast of fire suddenly strikes Vadris.

"See? You'd raze all life off of the Earth for your goal. That is why I cannot let you keep going Vadris. Even if it brings Vanora pain...I'll stop you." Elias' hands tremble. "I cannot let innocents die due to your suffering."

"Why shouldn't I? Do you know how long it has been since I found one as generous as her? Among so many she is the first in a thousand years to be willing to help me. Those that defied me...I could fill a nation with all the heartless souls that pushed me aside." Vadris says.

"ALL THAT PUSH YOU AWAY SEE YOUR SINS VADRIS!!! YOUR EVIL IN ENACTING YOUR GOALS MAKE THEM FEAR YOU!!!" Elias yells. "This wanton destruction...how can you ask people to forgive so easy?"

"ENOUGH!!! NO MORE WORDS SON OF RONDAR!! I'll be sure not to kill you, but I won't let you stop ME!!" He fires another blast, which Elias manages to avoid.

"YOU HURT ME!!" Trophis whinnies as he fires another blast right at Airou.

Jagi tackles Airou aside. "Damn, I wanted you to grow a spine but thinking with your other head's gonna get you killed Sport." He then brandishes his whip and lashes out at Trophis. "These aren't people like you and me, watch and then see what they can do first."

Octavia rushes Crytax with her punching knives. "Come on Fatso, let's dance."

"I'll have you know I am skinny for my kind." He summons two broadswords and swings for her.

"HEY!! THAT'S NOT FAIR!!" Octavia stops in her tracks. The blades nearly miss her.

Adona then takes over the mirror again. "Rothion."

Rothion appears on the screen. "Yes my Queen?"

"You are to remain, the King is absent and I may require your help in case the castle is not yet safe." Adona says.

"By your command." He bows as the image clears.

"Now to summon the other nobles. I'm not about to be a sitting duck. The Princess and I are still here." Adona says.

"Indeed." Ildor glances at Rhis a moment, having a strong hint at the basic idea of things. "Apparently there is much to be said."

Gilford was outside disciplining the dragon. "...not how I trained you. Blasted pea brained beast. It is a wonder I chose your kind and not one of the thinking breeds."

"Father." Ildor says. "Ready them. "We must make haste."

"I will return to the Queen and guard her and Gloriana with my life." Gilbert says.

"So long as you remain intact old friend." Ildor says.

Gilbert nods and turns to Osiron, Rowena and Rhis and mouths 'Good Luck' before disappearing.

[Inkshade]

Vito looks at Caedmon "Whay aren't you fighting?" he asks, a bit angry about it.

"It's not my place. I'm only here for Vanora, and her brother." Caedmon responds and glances at Brann to see what he was up to. He and Azrael had started fighting again.

Vanora whimperss quietly and frowns in Vito's arms. He looks at her saddly, knowing that even unconsious she could tell they were fighting because she cared for them.

Airou gets up and glares at Jagi "Jagi, when have I ever given a damn about what you have to say about my spine, and I have a good idea what they can do. I don't care, I can still beat them." he turns and looks at Ammon, who was watching everyone fight with a goofy smile. "AMMON! Seriously?" he snaps and then looks back to Trophis.

Ammon jumps and then points at himself "Oh?...Yes...I supose I should." he touches the ground "Hmm, not much for plant life...though, the tiny ones will do." he starts sending magic into the earth, muttering some spell.

Estelle nods "Yes my Queen."

"Aaaand, this is where the Queen's den is, in case you are ever sent to get her, which is likely since your going to be trained by her brother." Gaz says, giving Caed a tour. he looks up "And there's the Queen! Sup' Queen? Why the serious face?"

"We need to gather the nobles and prepare for a possible attack." Estelle says

"Who asked you toots?" Gaz squints, looking her over.

Caed bows to Adona, kicking Gaz as he does so for being rude.

Rhis nods back to him, as Iggy climbs onto his shoulders.

Osiron looks at Rhis, then reaches into the small bag that was all of his important belongings. he pulls out a sword and gives it to him "Get rid of that practice sword it will do you no good. Just set it against the wall, a servant will pick it up."

Rhis nods and replaces the swords.

"Cazo, keep an eye on Jast, we're still bringing him. This will give you a chance to redeem yourself a bit." Osiron says to Jast.

Jast looks like he's about to retort, but stops himself after a pleading look from Rhis.

Cazo nods and opens the door for them

[Dynamax]

"Vadris, stand down. You can still get what you want if you'd only back down." Elias says. "You can stop this. You don't need to attack these people."

"The King commands...and I obey. It is you who is in the wrong. No matter what you think of the King his word is law and all who oppose are criminals. Rondar, much like Misentia, are criminals who deserve death." Vadris says. "So we would be fighting anyway...this is unavoidable...unless you cast him aside."

"I could not do that, if anyone can understand that...it's you." Elias says. "I am the son of Gregor AND Rondar. I stand by both men to the end."

"Then perhaps I should arrest you too? I am sure we can work out something to save you from anything serious." Vadris says.

Suddenly a blade attached to a chain flies out and nearly hits Vadris.

"ATTACK MY SON AT YOUR PERIL MONSTER!!" Rondar yells.

Jagi smacks Airou upside the head. "You're making Octavia look like Claire here. Think for a minute...they're protecting the telepath while he recovers. Look past them."

If one looked at Goshin one could see his tongue regenerating.

"You're falling for their ruse. They want you to attack them. You want to win then you got to be ready to get past the uglies to get to uglier there." Jagi says. "Now do you want that or you going to do the macho jock in front of the hot girl thing some more?"

"You will mind your tongue in this castle Gaz." Adona says. "This is neither the time nor the place for this. Now come with me, all of you. I need to summon the court messengers and we need to get this castle and the outlying city secured."

"I did not have anything prepared for you Son." Gilford says.

"That is fine." Ildor holds out his hand and a bolt of lightning hits the ground before them, a winged white dragon appearing before them. "I have my own means."
