"They gained two more...wait...one feels like one of the Grey yet...i sense no magic." Thimos says.
"Dad?" Elias' eyes widen.
Rondar scowls. "Gregor...they have hostages. We must assume the worst."
"We must. For the other one...a woman...feels like Vortigern." Thimos says.
Elias looked horrified, for a moment he looked crushed, but then his anger took over. "They have Vanora." his runes began to come back, burning brightly.

"Her den." Ildor says. "A room for her to get away from things. Follow me."

"Impressive." Kaizo says. "I do not know if it is fueled by ignorance but not many are willing to push us."
"Ummm....big problem gang. Thimos found us out. I am feeling a very powerful wave of anger coming from our target zone. Someone knows these two and is fuming mad." Goshin says.
"Elias..." Gregor says.
"Then let's not keep them waiting." Vadris turns.

"You would upset Auntie more then?" Iago says. "She likes me too much to even let you do that."
"You want to test that Brother? it's one thing for her to overlook your antics, another for picking a fight with her brother." Victoria says.
"No one is doing anything to anyone." Mr. Bluestone says. "The Master is something fo a rascal but i will not permit threats."

"They have the Princess?" Airou grits his teeth.
"Hmm, they are certainly getting on my bad side rapidly." Ammon says rather casually.

Vanora frowns "Elias...Vadris...remember he's one of my men...and is Gregor's son not this Rondar's." she says.

"Awww come on! I could change him back easy! Let me turn him into a beetle, just for five minutes?" Vito says like a child begging for a new toy.
"There will be no transformations unless for strategic purposes." Rodric says

"I'LL KILL THEM ALL!" Elias yells.
"ELIAS!!" Rondar yells.
Elias snaps out of it. "I..."
"It will take getting used to. Perhaps if I showed more of my anger..." He says as he removes his weapons. "...I can take some of your burden away."

"Sorry, to have you running around. At least you can inform Osiron I'm still a busy body and not rotting away on my throne in decadence." Ildor says with a laugh.

Goshin winces as he felt Elias' rage.
"Things are not always what they seem Princess." Gregor says cryptically. "He is both our sons as far as I see it."
"Well that's nice of you to be so open but the warm fuzzies might prove problematic." Vadris says.
"I can see them in the distance." Ginza says.
"Stop showing off." Ronka says.

"Rascal...well I have been called worse." Iago says.
"We're almost there, I would beg you all get back on. Time is wasting." Mr. Bluestone says.

Mora looks at Rondar, and hides the fact that she was upset either of them had to submit to rage at all.
Ammon smells the air "They're getting close. I can smell the devils, and a lovely floral scent."
"Then we should move." Airou says.

Estelle chuckles "That would be wise. He worries about you more than himself."

"Where?" Vanora asks excitedly and looks around. She forgets for a moment that they were in the air and nearly falls. She stops herself by leaning quickly back into Vadris and clinging to him "forgot where I was for a bit..." she laughs nervously. she relaxes a bit and looks ahead, trying to see her friends.

Rodric nods "Yes, let's keep going."
Vito sighs "Tsk, you never let me have any fun..."

Caedmon closes his eyes "Hmm, I could feel that boy's rage from here..."
"I didn't feel anything." Brann says
"That's because you are not as strong as me. My powers are at a much higher level than yours so I can sense such things much easier than you." he says "Try harder."
Brann glares at him then closes his eyes "I don't feel any-" he opens his eyes and growls demonicly "Someone is approaching the castle."
"Yes, I know look." Caedmon gestures to a screen "You think I don't watch him too? He's more trouble than she is." he chuckles "the older one is a friend. Now, go greet them, and be polite, one of my godchildren is with them."
Brann sighs and rolls his eyes "And I supose you expect me to cart them up here too?"
"It is a floating castle, and none of them have wings..."

"On that path heading to us on the mountainside." Ginza says.
"Then let's speed up." Vadris says.

"Crap, too late. They're here." Travis says.
"I can see that." Karn says.
Elias draws his weapon and stands ready.
The demons arrive with their passengers. Vadris smiles. "Why hello there Rondar, Thimos."
Thimos hisses angrily as he shields his sister.
"STAND DOWN. They have Vanora and Gregor. No one attack." Rondar says. "So you stoop to hostages Vadris."
"Hardly, they are my guests....and allies." Vadris says.
"WHAT?" Rondar says.
"Princess?" Elias was shocked.
"Beloved...no..." Anastasia was surprised as well.

"He should stop that. I'm fine these days. It's he who needs to face himself." Ildor says. "He worries me just as much I'd say, if not more."

"Fun will come. But I must serve my Master as I have been hired to." Mr. Bluestone says as he retakes his seat. "Is everyone settled in?"

Vanora hops off of Vadris' back and smiles at Elias. she runs over to him and hugs him "I'm glad to see you safe." she looks up at him "There was a bit of a misundertanding at first, but once we sorted it out Vadris helped me and has been very hospitable...er...well as much as a demon can get anyways. He's willing to help you not be seen as a criminal here. I intend to meet their King, and hear about everything that is going on here, you know diplomatic stuff." she giggles "And, he says he will be able to help me locate Rhisiart."
Airou looks over Vadris, sizing him up. He finds himself also standing close to Aikia. He was uncertain if they should say where they had found Rhis, as they did owe it to Osiron, and he could get in trouble if it were discovered that he had let them go.
Ammon eyes Goshin. he protects his allies minds from him. "Did he now? How generous." he says pleasantly.

Estelle nods "I would not doubt it. You two are lucky to have each other as such good friends. I think he sees you more as a brother than his King." she smiles.

"Yes, we are ready when you are." Rodric nods.
Vito stretches out on the hood of the cart.

Brann mutters angerily to himself as he walks to an exit.

"His name is Jast, and I'm unsure if there is anything anyone can do for him. He hates the nobility...slavery, everything." Cazo sighs "He's only ever been pleasant when Rhis' mother was here, and even then he only seemed to like her."

"I can do one better. We found Rhisart. He's with the man who fathered him, the man who help your mother captive while she was missing all those years ago. The King's best friend, a noble by the name of Osiron. Ask Vortigern for the details. He knows your Mom well enough, after all he is your uncle." Elias says.
"Osiron....really?" Vadris sounded annoyed. "That's a bother. i didn't know of this at all, nor did the King."
Gregor's gaze remained locked with Anastasia silently.
"Gonna punish him for kidnapping and holding a foreign dignitary hostage or will he, like all your loyalists, get a free pass?" Karn asks.
"Can i at least kill him? I never liked him." Ronka says.

"As do i, especially these days." Ildor says coldly, recalling the war.

"Good we got to an open field and wait just up ahead. If memory serves that's where we should await transport." Mr. Bluestone says as the carriage moves.

"Well I should give him a chance to get to know me regardless. I am going to set him free one day after all." Rowena says.

Mora looks at Vanora "My father isn't here to tell you everything, but he could explain it."
"You...you found him?" Vanora says with some disbelief "Rhis is with...is he alright?"
"He seemed fine yes." Airou says
"Oh, thank goodness..." Vanora sighs "Can I see him? Where did you find him? Is he still there?"
"He was at...his birth father's mansion. As far as we know he's still there." Airou says
Azrael watches them carefully.

"That is a relief to know your majesty....I will admit, my Lord is plagued by something...it is the topic of that conversation I told you he wishes to have. It brings me great joy to know that you share his feelings, I believe you will understand, and that has been my greatest fear." Estelle says.

Brann goes to a window and stands in it. he dives out of it and transforms, manipulating the fog to keep himself masked. he lands on a fallen pillar on one side of the field and waits.

"Be that as it may we can sort that out later. We have people to arrest and/or kill as ordered by our King." Vadris says.
"Like Hell." Elias says. "I lost my mother to you. I won't lose my birth Father to you."
"So you defy the Princess...the woman you love?" Vadris asks. "Not very good of you."
"I would not do so without just cause." Elias says. "Vanora, please understand. This Vadris is evil. He violated Aikia, he ordered the deaths of many and he helped kill my family off."
"Enemies of the state are criminals." Vadris says. "Subject to the judgment of their King. It is not their place to judge right or wrong."
"SILENCE!!" Thimos says. "You scum, you're every bit as evil as that worm of a father of yours."
Honzai reacted before words could be said, blasting Thimos back.
"IDIOT!!" Vadris says.
"He insulted Father. He would do no less." Honzai snaps.

"I ordered the deaths of my brother and sister. He killed his own by will. He and I are stained with sin. So who am I to judge?" Ildor says.

"Yes, we're going to need to fly the rest of the way." Mr. Bluestone says as they reach the clearing. "I see he is here."

"Oh! Please don't fight!" Vanora frowns and looks at Elias "I...I can't make that decision Elias! I can't let you fight with the army of this land without mother and father's order! I need to meet with their King, arrange a meeting with either mother or father, and it's their decision. Not mine!" she says. Azrael readies his sword, keeping an eye on Gregor. -------- Estelle nods "But could you forgive him for another sin?" ------- "Who? I don't see-" Claire stops as she looks out and sees something moving in the fog. Something very very large. Brann looks them over and growls " Horses! Gah! Of course you would have horses!" he spreads his wings and clears some of the fog. Rodric looks uncertain "Mr...Bluestone....this wouldn't happen to be...." " I assume you want them alive? Grrr..." he creates an arc of rock over them and flies up onto it, grabbing it like a handle. He starts to take flight, carrying them on a platform. Vito smiles with joy "How thrilling!" Brigada is simply taken aback by Brann "That's a....a dragon?" " I'M NOT A DRAGON! I'M A DEMON!!!" Brann snarls. he flies to the front doors, which were very large, most likely to accomodate for his size. they open as he approaches. he flies through and lands in the lobby, then sets them down. he reverts to his human form and slides down the handle, landing firmly on the floor. "I'm not a bloody dumb dragon..." he grumbles. Vito looks at him with a smile "Top notch transforming!" Claire gets out "He's....just a kid?" "Hey! Watch it I'm far older than you!" Brann snaps. Rodric gets out and looks around the lobby, taking it in. There were three statues above three door ways. To the left was a statue of Brann in his demon form, in front of them, a female demon i1013.photobucket.com/albums/af260/atrafox/notmine/Decarabia__by_Wen_M.jpg whose face was kind. And to the right, Caedmon. Brann sighs "Yeah I know, they're nice. Follow me...damn Caedmon...didn't even tell me where to bring you...the viewing room? Eh, may as well...if he get's pissed it's his own fault." he mutters and immediately starts off through the door directly in front of them. ----------- "I'm not sure with this one Princess, his hatred is deep seeded." Cazo sighs. |

"They would betray you. The king serves Vadris unknowingly. He seeks to free his Father to have him conquer the lands." Rondar says.
"And Thimos told you this. What of he's just using you so that HIS father can?" Vadris says.
"Sorry. That's not true at all now is it." Gregor says. "I left something out of my story Vadris. Ozan says Hi."
Vadris turns to him. "The old man who..." His eyes widen in shock. "You are working for HIM?"
"Don't act surprised." Gregor draws his sword. "You had to suspect that's where the sword came from."
"Do we kill him now Vadris?" Kaizo asks.
Vadris and Honzai both had looks of blind rage on their faces.

"Was it an act of treason?" Ildor asks.

"Please be more cordial Master Brann. These are my friends and you know what happens when I am offended." Mr. Bluestone says in a very matter of fact tone as he gets the door.

Vanora looks confused "What's going on....don't..don't fight please....we can sort this out..." she says quietly. she shakes her head "All of you stop this at once! Sir Gregor, put away your sword! Vadris, Honzai, close your eyes take a deep breath and count to ten slowly and calm down for Pete's sake, and Azrael, don't you even think about attacking Sir Gregor from behind because I can see from your stance change that is what you were about to do!" she snaps. her eyes move to Rondar "You'll keep your mouth shut because the only reason any of my friends are in trouble with the law here is because of you, and I have the right to hear both sides of the story!" she says. she looks to Airou who was reaching for his swords cautiously "Don't you even dare!" she snaps at him.

"It depends on how you interpret treason." Estelle sighs "He has done nothing to intentionally act against you, but in an act of weakness many years ago, he did something, and covered it up, it later returned and he covered that up, and so on..." she smiles "I assure you, it won't comprimise anything here, it is more of a chain of shame, fuled by his desire to be strong for you....to be unchanging, something stable for you." she pauses "I say this because I fear his pride will make him unable to tell you of his weakness himself." she says.

"Hmm? Oh yeah yeah." Brann sighs "I'm just pissed with the dumb old know it all. He keeps going on about 'oh no, that's not good' or 'so in so will start fighting'. And he just wants to sit and watch it happen." he shakes his head "It's infuriating, honestly...And then Gaz goes and get's his human early, and isn't in trouble. But I lose a silly old book and now I've got to go get it back and I get scolded! He yells at me and not the frickn' thing that he made!" he shakes his head.
"That's rough." Claire says
"You're telling me!" Brann says. he looks at them and walks backwards "So, why you here this time B?" he asks, talking to Mr.Bluestone.
"B?" Vito chuckles "I like that...."

Elias looks at Vanora with shock and a hint of betrayal at she did not trust his word.
"You speak out of line little Girl." Karn sneers.
"SILENCE KARN." Rondar's voice did not hide how upset he was, but he was not about to let Vanora suffer his rage, nor Karn's.
"I knew he was preparing to attack. A bit too obvious, really. Az, don't test me. You're a good kid, I'd hate to make you a no winged demon." Gregor says.
"How do you wish us to talk?" Ronka speaks up. "We're supposed to kill most of his people and capture the rest for execution before the King's Court. Not something we can make nice over."
"It's admirable that you seek a peaceful solution but that time is passed for the king, our mere presence is the proof of it.
Gentlemen...land." Kaizo says as he lands on the ground, the others following in suit. "Now order your people to step aside. We wish to keep our word."

Ildor goes silent for a moment, thinking. "Sounds like my answer remains unchanged as far as I can tell."

"I will ask that only Brann calls me that. I do have to keep my professinal air about me with you." Mr. Bluestone says. "As for why I am here...too many people from the other side have gone missing and we are tasked with bringing them back. Our sovreign heirs and some of their guard."

"He hated my Dad, that was a bother to get around." Rowena says. "So it is quite similar."

"I thought you listened to Vadris. Not your King." Vanora says. She looks back at Elias and gasps quietly "Why...why are you looking at me like that?" she asks quietly "We...didn't come here for a war or fighting....we came to get Rhis back....I don't want to fight Elias...I just want to take my brother home."
Airou frowns and glances at Aikia. The way things were going, the Princess was going to make them stand aside, and to do that would be to hand over the others. Not to mention, even if she did do that, and was reunited with Rhisiart, she wouldn't be satisfied as he had said himself, he didn't want to leave. "Why...why is she trying to defend these monsters?...Wait...that's not the same dress she left in....could she be under some sor tof spell from it? The Vanora I know would never stand for any of this...." he thinks.

Estelle smiles "I'm happy to hear that." she sighs "Honestly, once you get passed the darker sides of what has happened, I think you might acctually be excited." she chuckles.

"What? She thinks we aren't watching them?" Brann rolls his eyes "There's a load of trust for ya'...."
"Who?" Claire asks, for the sake of it.
"Vinitia! She's your queen isn't she? Or was that a load of bull? I don't know there was something off about her..."
"No she's the Queen, not at all bull." Vito smiles. "And she gives off that vibe sometimes. I know, she's my sister."
Brann looks at him "Sister?" he shrugs "Anyways, yeah, we know all about your Prince and Princess. The old man's been watching them. The boy's been with his dad and the Princess throwing googoo eyes at Vadris. She's gunna' get hurt something bad if she keeps it up with him. All that guy wants is his dad back, and if he finds out she might be able to bring down the wall then-eh screw it you guys won't get it..." he sighs
"Wait...What?" Rodric says with a frown
"Brann. I told you not to speak of such things." Caedmon says from the doorway to the viewing room. "Such information is not to leave the three. You know better."
"Sorry...passive agressive...." Brann mutters.
"Ignore him. He doesn't act his age." Caedmon says "It has been some time, in your years Mr.Bluestone. I did not expect you to return so soon." his eyes pass Vito "Or you Vito."
"Gotta' look after my niece and nephew."
"Yes, I supose so." Caedmon says. "To those of you who do not know me, I am Caedmon, and I am a guardian of the wall, and other things." he says

"You also said we'd find my Father...that you'd help me get to know him. Well here he is...and he's fighting against the same kind of oppression we've stood against. You're asking me to walk away and let him get killed? What happened Vanora? What did they do to you?" Elias asks. "Before you were wishing we could help the people...and here you are talking about treating with my Uncle, an enslaver of men. A heartless monster."
Aikia looks at her. "Did Vadris give you that dress or make it with his magics?"

"It depends on the darkness involved. I must admit to some worry." Ildor says. "I might forgive but i pray I do not lose some respect from him."

"Considering my years standing it is not quite such a miracle." Mr. Bluestone says.
"Wait...stop and go back for a second. You know where Rhisart is?" Iago asks.
"Wait your turn Master." Mr. Bluestone says. "Forgive Master Iago, he is rather impertinent but his heart is in the right place." He looks up at Caedmon. "I trust you need no introductions, we should get to the heart of the matter."
