"Gah!" Airou says nervously "Not again...not again..." he looks around "Why does this always happen to me?"
"Calm down, she around here somewhere." Lakyri follows behind him "I'm sure she just wanted to be alone."
"That's the problem Lakyri, she's alone! I'm suposed to be watching her. I can't do that if I don't know where she is! What if she left the castle? What if she gets mugged?!"
"Oh calm down she's probably on the roof or something."
"THE ROOF?! Ohhhhh..." Airou speeds up.

Vanora lies on a slightly slanted roof of a tower, looking out at the wall. she couldn't see over it. She never could. once she thought she had seen trees, but it could have been fog. she closes her eyes and thinks of her brother.

Rhis looks at the door he had just fixed and checks to make sure the hinges no longerr squeaked. he smiles at the silence, and goes in to wash his hands. he checks the dinner he was making and throws carrots into the soup. he figured the sisters would be back soon and he liked having things ready for them.

Anastasia was on her way to the roof when she heard Airou catching up. "You need to stop losing track of her Airou. "You're lucky Cornelius made sure no one got through the gates or else I'd be on another pointless hunt." She sighs. "Not that I can ever blame her."

"I don't we will be seeing your dear brother from here sweet Cousin." Phillipe says, leaning on the other side of the roof. "Not that we could get out this time. Cornelius was a bit too hasty this time. But soon. I am working on another one of my plans."

Rowena was once again tending to the gardens as per usual. She loved it there, so peaceful and quiet. She worked hard to grow and nurture every plant there.

the door burst open "Mmmm Oh the house smells wonderful!" Evana says as she and Estella enter.
"The door is much better now." Estella says, seeming unmoved by the smell of the food.
Rhis smiles and bows to them "Mistress Evana, mistress Estella, welcome home. Did you find what you needed on your trip?"

"Rowena." Walking up tot he young princess was a heavily armored winged man.
"Oh Desmond, hello." Rowena smiles. "How are you?"
"Same as always. I just came back from another...mission and I thought I'd check in." Desmond says hesitantly.
"Oh...Vadris sent you on another one of those..." Rowena looked concerned. "Are you ok?"
"This one was a valid one. The damned Lizard Prince was attacking caravans...I had to drive them off." Desmond says.
"Oh...that's a relief." Rowena sighs.

"they were twins Lakyri. Not to mention they were closer than most twins. There was rumors that it was on a far greater level than any of us can understand....well Elias might." Airou says

"Oh yes we got everything." Evana says and places a few viles of liquid in a cabinet.
"Lord Osiron will be coming to visit tomorow Rhisiart, I expect the house to be spotless, and an elaborate dinner planned." Estella says to him handing him a bag to put away.
"Yes mam." he takes the bag and begins to put the contents away.

Anastasia pauses. A pained look on her face.
"A little tact you two. The Princess isn't the only one that suffers." Elias says, coming up from behind.
"I'm fine Elias." Anastasia says. "it's ok."
"Not really, I'm on that list too, and it's not THAT kind of close I assure you. It's like they're two parts of one person. Try living with no legs and arms and you might have a sense of it." Elias says.

"Brown nosing gets you nowhere." Elias says, coming out next.

"So this is where you when to Desmond." A man with black wings walks into the Gardens.
"Vadris, I keep telling you it's ok for him to be here." Rowena says.
"He still has duties to perform, he can't just galavant off whenever he pleases." Vadris says.
"What praytell are these duties?" Desmond asks.
"The Prisoners, make sure they get in safely. We don't want any problems before their executions tomorrow." Vadris snickers.
"EXECUTIONS?" Rowena was mortified. "That's not...you can't..."
"These beasts have killed 17 of our subjects Princess, including a mother who was expecting. It's only fair to repay their lack of mercy with swift vengeance." Vadris says.
"But still...it won't bring them back. It will only increase hostilities." Rowena says.
"And? It's them or us, after all they still need to pay for your mothers death." Vadris says.
"You go to far Demon." Desmond snaps at him.
"Don't bite the hand that sustains you Desmond. GO!!" Vadris retorts.
"Forgive em milady. Duty...calls" Desmond bows and walks away.
"You know...you need better friends. He's no fun at all." Vadris says.
"Please leave my Garden." Rowena turns away from him and goes back to her work.
"Fine, be that way." Vadris warps out.
"I'm sorry I can help you...uncle Desmond." Rowena wipes some tears away from her eyes.

Vanora chuckles "Sorry Airou." she says, sad that her moment without supervision was over.

Desmond made his way down to the prisoners, sure enough Crytax and Trophis were handling..or rather MIShandling them.
"Step lively you overgrown geckos." Trophis says, whinneying in sick pleasure.
"Geckos are amphibians stupid, like frogs." Crytax's corrects him. "There's are reptiles."
"Whatever. Like they care. They're dead in a days time." Trophis says.
"You know you'd think someone who is a walking mistake would appreciate the gift of life more." Desmond says.
"Shut up Curse boy." Trophis snorts. "We're doin' you're job for you."

Vanora sighs "I know...I know...I don't understand why father thinks this is all so necessary though...we're not at war, there aren't any major rampant band of thieves running loose."
"He just cares for you Princess. You're his daughter." Airou says
"Your father doesn't make Lakyri have supervision at all times." she mutters
"Lakyri's not a princess." Airou smiles and ignores the faces Lakyri was making at him.

Rhis happily serves the sisters the meal he had made, and steps back in case there was anything they needed.
Evana tries some. she rolls her eyes back and smiles "Mmm, sister, how lucky are we that we have such a wonderful little servant?" she asks, lightly draging the nail of her index finger under his chin.
"Yes, well done Rhisiart. You may go clean the kitchen now." Estella says
He bows and goes off to clean.
"Don't forget to save the left overs for yourself." Evana calls to him.
"You are ridiculous..." Estella sighs.

"Oh don't sound so glum my Pretty Goddess, that won't be the case once we find the Prince." Phillipe says.
"Oh? How will you do that?" Anastasia asks.
"We gotta succeed sometime right?" Phillipe says.
"And how will you survive on the other side? There's all sorts of monsters and weird creatures and magic things over there, I'm proof of it." Elias says.
"You're a magic thing?" Phillipe asks.
"You know what I mean." Elias glares. "But it isn't just that Princess Vanora. You're someone we care about. What kind of friends would we be if we were not concerned?"
