Maria leads the group through the front yard of the manor. All around were people talking and playing with their powers.
Tanner looks around at the mountains surrounding the place. "Impressive..."
"Eh, most of them are a bunch of show offs." Maria says with a smile
"I meant the mountains." Tanner say
"I'm just happy I could leave my coat in the car." Wolfrik grins

Gouken removes his left glove. "At least I can do this."
Chantal looks around. "All these people..."

Cayne looked around, intrigued, "Yeah," He agreed with Chantal. "This place is definitely something else." He liked it though, the mountains were pretty enough and it reminded him quite a bit of his home in Nevada; the general freedom was just a nice touch.

Tanner puts his hands in his pockets to protect his things.
Wolfrik smiles, until a small child jumps infront of him and shouts "DR OCTAGONAPUS BAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
Maria looks and sighs "Nick, leave him alone or I'll let those things eat you."
the child runs away. Wolfrik sighs "Every time! There's always one!" he complains

"It's ok. At least you don't get called Goku." Gouken says. "Or get asked how Ryu and Ken's training is going. Or asked if I am going to save the Cheerleader."
"I SAID SORRY!!" Ford yells.
"Guys, chill ok?" Gabe says.

Maria laughs "Come on guys, Eli is inside."
Tanner suddenly realizes something "Wasn't that bird's name Elijah too?"
Maria pauses "Yeah...good thing Eli preffers Eli."

"That does not help the situation." Gouken says.
"Will you three clowns knock it off? Eli's waiting." Becky scolds them.
Gabe walks through the door first. "Thanks Maria."

Maria leads them to the door to Eli's office and knocks on it before opening it. "Hey Eli, I'm home." Maria smiles.
Eli spins in his chair "Well it's about time. You were walking slower than you usually do. Worried about what I'll say?"
Maria is taken off guard a bit.
"No matter, you boys are pretty funny. I've always like a good Tv or Youtube refference." Eli chuckles.
Wolfrik mouths the words "How does he see?"
"I have one of the kids watch it and I watch through them." Eli explains, having been watching them.
Wolfrik laughs awkwardly.

"Yeah they were kind of taken in by things." Gabe then stops. "You even ask him top say that Ford and i'll make you think you're a 5 year old for the rest of the day."

Cayne grinned, "Remember what happens if we don't behave," He added quietly, remembering the Becky threat. Course...Eli might enjoy it...he seems fun enough.

Eli shifts "Ah...yes the boys...had hoped you'd all get to meet me and we could have some happy time, but, best get down to business. It's why you came." he sighs. he was facing them but what would have been a gaze wasn't on anyone in particular. "I looked for them, they're in London with our boy Carson. But they aren't doin' as well as him. The ones who attacked are turning the boy Kris into one of them. Wanted to do the same to James, but it seems Carson managed to help him. I saw Walsh making a deal with him, something about being a body guard for Carson. I'm not sure if that means they aren't going to do anything to him, or if they just aren't going to mess with his brain. Last I saw him he was on an operating table. But thanks to Carson he's safer than Kris." Eli pauses "Kris...that boy's in trouble. There's no denying." he pauses "Maria baby, sit down before you pass out, and one of you boys get her some water, there's a mug on the shelf and a fountain in the hall."
Maria's eyes were wide and she was shaking after hearing bad news.
