Gabe turns and walks out. "Lang might be enough. I'll be back."

Gouken looks at Eli. "Lang?"

"Zheng Lang." Eli says "He opposes the Midnighters, another of our residents."

"Wait...as in...Tiger Boy?" Ford says. "Why is he such a big deal?"

"Hey if Gabe trusts him we should." Gouken says. "Especially since Eli is having him here."

It didn't take him long to find Zheng Lang. He was on the roof.

"I had heard you were making your way here. Eli's been waiting almost has long as I have." Lang says, not facing him. "It has been too long Zheng Li."

"That name is the past." Gabe says.

"Oh? Am I the past too then?" Lang asks.

"That depends on your stance with Tao." Gabe says.

"I oppose how he acts.; The Zheng family will perish in time if his order continues." Lang turns around. "but you seem troubled by more than that."

Gabe goes silent. "Yuan has been killed by Tao. He fell at james' hands in battle. Tao cast him aside like he did us. They now have James. I need your help...my brother."

"That's right." Eli nods "Tanner, there's a box on the shelf you should look through, it's got some pictures of you parents in there."

Tanner nods and goes to the shelf. he takes the box down and sits, and looks through it.

"Now to keep the rest of you busy...." Eli mutters

Lang stood there as tears ran down his face. "So it's only you, me and Fan left? There were eight of us and now..."

"I know. He needs to be stopped." Gabe says.

"But how? He's killed those with powers that by all right should have killed him. He's a demon." Lang says.

"All people have their weakness Lang. I was a God for a moment and even I had one." Gabe says. "The problem is the me that serve St. Germain stands in our way. He had no knowledge of who we really were. I saw to that. but he has to know by now if Tao is there."

"Then we will first save your friend then end this." Lang walsk up to him and hugs him. "Thank you Brother."

"Lang, they only know of Gabriel Smith. I think that might change fast but let both me and my ego self out me. We're just old friends from Mom's days in China." Gabe says.

"I understand." Lang says. "If I slip I will say I saw you as a brother due to our friendship."

"That's fine." Gabe says. "i will take you to them."

"Do you have files on these healers?" Gouken asks.

"Oh hey, what about the giant guy who blew up? He should be alive again by now. We can get him again and he can help." Ford says.

Gina stumbled back a bit.
"They'll....turn him...hell come after us? He wouldn't, he wouldn't try to kill us. He won't. I....I can convince him against hurting us."

Jon stepped forward,
"But eez he not a warrior. He's no challenge."she said with a slight chuckle.

"They can make him into one. But don't worry. His powers can stop mine but they can't stop my tech. I made a cyborg myself from the same specs. I know how they work. I can shut his movements down with the right opening." She looks at Gina. "Gouken's plan is solid Gina. I'll be able to help no problem. We get mind girl and a stronger healer and he'll be Kris again in no time. Then I'll hunt that dickhead Nathan down and shove my boot right up his ass for good measure." Becky adds at the end.

Cayne bit his lip to refrain from telling Jon that Roselinda had certainly seemed convinced Kris would be more than capable of killing them all. After all, it would be hard enough to fight without powers. Instead, he turned to Ford, a little surprised by what he'd said, "He should? Didn't he get blown up yesterday?" He knew they'd mentioned he'd come back to life, and he figured it would be relatively quickly, but that was certainly faster than he'd expected. "Damn..."

"Well maybe...we can at least find his body or something." Ford says. "He's got to be partially restored by now."

Eli sighs "I know who you're talking about and I tried to find him but for one reason or another I can't. " he says

"Oh that's bad." Ford says.

"Great, he's on the list." Gouken says.

"Who is?" Gabe returns alongside Zheng Lang.

"Bob's off the grid." Ford says.

"That's bad." Gabe says.

"Who?" Lang asks.

"The immortal." Gabe says.

"Carter's foeman, i see." Lang says.

"So how do you know Tiger Boy's brother?" Ford says.

"No jokes about him. He's been killed, by his own Father no less." Gabe says.

"Oh shit...sorry man. I...I.." Ford frowns.

"It's ok, Yuan and i grew apart. your sympathy is...appreciated." Lang says.

Cayne frowned, both at the fact that Bob had vanished and at the news. How could someone do that? "That's just wrong..." He muttered, though he trailed, figuring Lang wouldn't want to discuss, or even think about, his father killing his brother. That was morbid enough that he didn't much want to consider it, and he wasn't even involved. Shaking his head slightly to clear it, he spoke after a moment, "It's nice to meet you."

Lang looks down at Cayne's hand and takes it. "Likewise."

"Zheng Tao is a power mad brutal savage. A criminal overlord with major pull in China's governing body. Killing hsi son for failure and loss of limb is not to be expected. He's also not the first apparently." Gabe says.

"There is only me, my sister Fan who is his favorite and a brother who had been exiled for not exhibiting his powers as of then." Lang says.

"I know it could be a cultural thing, but I can't understand how someone would do that to family." Tanner says as he looks through the box.

"It's tradition I am afraid. One I seek to change. Do not apply logic to Zheng Tao, it does not exist for his view." Lang says. "Now we have a memory alterer we need to save in England am i right?"
