Appearance:

History: A giftedly intellectual Ascendant raised by the Midnighters, Billy was one of those odd ones. Due tot he way his brain works he comes off as seemingly like he has no emotion but he simply processes things at an alarming rate. He has been seen as the next Dan Walsh and is currently studying up on current projects like bio stabilization of unstable powers, cloning and the cyber initiative.

Powers: His mind moves at super speed, essentially he is able to process through at a rate 100 times that of a human. This made him seem mature before he was ten and has granted him the ability to learn at an alarming rate. it also helps that he also has a photographic memory.

Paraphernalia: A Jericho 941F semi auto handgun.

Weaknesses: his lack of emotional state has him act logically over emotionally. He needs to rely on others for such things or to stop him if he is going too far.

Name: Selene Porter

Age: 13

Stance: Neutral

Appearance:

History: One of Simon's current orphans whose powers are proving too much. Subject has trouble getting too close to others out of fear of causing them pain or worse. Which is sad because she is truly a kind and gentle girl.

Powers: By mentally focusing on someone she sees Selene can induce pain to run throughout their nervous systems. If done to long she can cause eventual death.

Paraphernalia: N/A

Weaknesses: Selene has not control over her powers and is afraid of herself.

Name: Kumori AKA: Hugh Doyle

Age: 22

Moral stance: Evil

Appearance:

History: An artist who was struggling to get by in life, and while hist gift of super speed allowed him to make many paintings in a short amount of time, his quality was lack luster.

One day though he learned he could draw more than pictures, he could make solid light constructs. In a feud with his landlord he snapped and created a wolf out of light and tore him apart. He was spotted by the other tenants, who captured him and tried to burn him alive. He used his powers to escape, but not before he was badly burned. Blinded partially from the wounded and pain he was chased to the roof where thy caught him and pushed him off.

He was in a coma for two months, and woke up in the Midnighter's lab. The fall left him a quadrapeligic but he was offered the chance to walk again if he joined up the Midnighters. He accepted and was remade into Kumori.

Powers: His cyber suit grants him great speed and agility as well as enhanced endurance, strength and reflexes.

He was born with the power of superhuman speed and can fun at speed up to 800 mph.

His second power has him draw up light constructs to use as tools and weapons. he literally draws them but his speed makes it easier.

Paraphernalia: His titanium sword is his only tactile weapon he does not make.

Weaknesses: It does require concentration to draw and thus leaves him open. He is strong and fast but not as trained as the other cyborgs.

Name: Kagero

Age: Newborn

Moral Stance: Evil

Appearance:

History: A clone of James Clarke, prepared in readiness for his inevitable betrayal, this Kagero is a unique being as he has three powers. This has been said to have only happened once, back during the days of Project Hercules. Kagero does not seem to possess any kind of go towards his creation, though he does wish to fight James, but for reasons he's not willing to talk about.

Powers: He has James two abilities (See James bio) with no apparent differences. But it is his third power that makes him distinct. He has a form of evolution that allows him to grow stronger with every defeat. It is unknown what kind of limits he will have in time or how this will change.

Paraphernalia: Nothing.

Weaknesses: Currently h has no weakness any normal human wouldn't have but who knows what the future will bring.

Name: Zheng Tao

Age: 50

Moral stance: Lawful Evil

Appearance:

History: Said to be the strongest physical specimen of the known Ascendants and the Leader of the Zheng family, Zheng Tao once opposed the Midnight Organization. It wasn't until he had a 14 hour fight against a fully transformed Carter in which the two foguht to a stalemate that he sided with them. He knew if the fight were to continue to it's end he would lose.

Since then he has sent his family to work for them as agents ever since. However he is a cold man and will not tolerate failure even from them.

Powers: Zheng Tao's physical power in unsurpassed by any known being save for Carter Samson's true form. He once punched a tank so hard he sent it flying 15 feet and had a massive caved in front form the force of the blow.

He is physically invulnerable, completely and totally unbreakable.

Paraphernalia: Zheng Tao has nothing aside from hsi battle armor.

Weaknesses: Zheng Tao is vulnerable to tempuratures and such like Gabriel but he has trainied himself to resist pain to such a degree as he requires much more exposure. He also has strong mental defenses, has ingested small doses of poison to make him resistant and can hold his breath for ten minutes.

Basically he's hard to bring down but it can be done.

Name: Zheng Fan

Age: 21

Moral stance: Morally Evil

Appearance:

History: The beloved daughter of Zheng Tao, Fan is the one most likely to inherit his rule due to her cunning and power. A deadly fighter in her own right and a devious charmer she will get results by any means.

Powers: Her Primary power is super speed. She can move at speeds that can break the sound barrier and suffers no ill effects of temperature or from the G-forces that result from it.

Her secondary power is known to exist but she never uses it. It's said to be quite dangerous, even risky to herself.

Paraphernalia: She wields a pair of chinese style swords, which makes her all the more dangerous with her super speed.

Weaknesses: She has a high metabolism due to her powers. She must eat large volumes of food through out the day.

Name: Gato

Age: 33

Moral stance: Evil

Appearance:

History: A former rival in the Japanese Yakuza, Gato saw the potential of the Zheng family and sold his crew out tot hem. Recognized for his powers Gato was offered a position and Zheng Fan's bodyguard. He was required to provide a sign of his loyalty, which Gato provided by cutting out his own tongue. He has serves his role as bodyguard without fail ever since.

Powers: While not as strong as Zheng Tao, Gato possesses formidable physical strength. He can also cause anyone who looks direct looks into his eyes to become immobile for as long as he concentrates on them.

Paraphernalia: None.

Weaknesses: If his visual concentration is lost whoever he renders immobile is freed.

Name: Jasper Newfeld

Age: 40

Moral stance: Chaotic evil

Appearance:

History: A lesser scientist hired by the Midnighters, he developed his talents toward power enhancements using his own natural abilities. His experiments left him twisted and hideous. He was taken in by Zheng Tao, as he could appreciate Newfeld's ambitions. He is the one who enhanced Marshall Brody's power.

Powers: His primary power is called Anatomical Liberation. He can be torn apart and reassembled (which is why he keeps himself covered in a patchwork uniform. He says it is a cleaner looking representation of what he really looks like).

His second power is his blood, which is acidic. His severed parts can ooze this acid out as a defense mechanism.

Paraphernalia: He has an apparatus that can inject his acid blood into people, making him all the more dangerous.

Weaknesses: If he were to be separated from a body part from a distance he could not fully reassemble.

Name: Zheng Lang

Age: 24

Moral stance: Neutral

Appearance:

History: A rebel who work neither for the Zheng family nor the Midnighters, Lang seeks to prove his worth to the family inheritance his own way. He has openly opposed the Midnighters but leniency has been given as a favor to Tao, knowing that he permits this.

Powers: Lang can absorb the properties of whatever he touches, turning himself into the material. If he touches steel he becomes like steel, for example.

Paraphernalia: He has a pair of arm mounted flame throwers.

Weaknesses: He is subject to the weaknesses of whatever he turns into. He cannot absorb things like fire or sound or electricity and become like that.

Name: Terry Hudson

Age: 19

Moral stance: Neutral

Appearance:

Normal form -

Enhanced Form -

History: Terry's mother was the 15th victim of the Saint Killer. Killed because of a drunk driving accident that got someone killed in her youth. Her mother was found innocent due to a police error, which apparently was enough for Nichols. In her giref her powers triggered. Now she walks the streets of London, hunting the killer.

Powers: Terry can cover herself in an insect like armor from which she can ever generate arm blades and spkie like projectiles. This state also enhances her senses.

Paraphernalia: None.

Weaknesses: The armor does not yet cover everything. Right now her desire for revenge is blinding her judgment.

History: One of James' biker gang friends who escaped. Emilo was separated from the group and thought dead. However he went on the run after failing to find James. He has been running around, following rumors of Eli's Manor, hoping to find it and maybe his friend.

Powers: Emilo can turn into a werewolf, and gained enhanced spped, strength, and senses as well as razor sharp claws and fangs.

Paraphernalia: Emilo has found a new motorcycle to ride and carries on it two Model 444 Ultralite Taurus Raging Bull Revovlers.

Weaknesses: Emilo is not the most trusting of people as he is being hunted by the Midnighters. He is a bit feral in wolf form and his mouthy in both forms.

Name: Sergeant Randall Briggs

Age: 32

Moral stance: Good

Appearance:

History: Randall was once a mere soldier in the US Marines. His powers triggered during a firefight against some terrorists, allowing his unit to gain the upper hand. He was then approached by the DAA and brought to them to learn to control his powers.

Powers: Randall has the power of Seismokinesis, though he has not yet shown the signs of generating an earthquake. He can even use his powers on people, though this can be dangerous to his foe.

Paraphernalia: None.

Weaknesses: Randall has not yet mastered his powers, having recently gained them and as such has to be careful within groups.

Name: Duncan Pryce

Age: 44

Moral stance: Good

Appearance:

History: Before his powers triggered he was a showman, a magician in a carnival. That was until a maniac with a gun shot him in the chest. His powers triggered violently, saving himself but he was changed. No longer was he a man of flesh but a man of flame and bone. He fled in horror until he was found by the Midnighters. He was helped and learn his flame was abnormal, he could even wear clothes over himself again.

But he learned the truth of the organization and fled, and was taken in by the DAA. He was not in the loop but he helped them understand what it was they were facing.

Powers: He has the power of living flame. The fire that enshrouds him is essentially his flesh and only burns when he wills it. He can create solid flame constructs, like his body, which can be used by anyone. He can also reanimate if his body is deconstructed, seemingly an immortal now.

Paraphernalia: His cane is titanium and can be used as a melee weapon. It can also fire knock out gas from the top and has a pop out blade at the bottom.

Weaknesses: If deconstructed his flame powers die out until he is reassembled enough to regain consciousness. This means any constructs dissipate as well. If he is missing parts it can adversely affect him.

Name: Daryl Bailey

Age: 16

Moral Stance: Good

Appearance:

Boy form -

Bird creature Form -

History: Daryl was just another orphan until his powers manifested for the first time at age 12. Becoming a Penguin in the middle of the Orphanage playgrounds was only the beginning. On the run as penguin he was captured by Animal services and placed in a zoo where he lived for a year until Eli found him and took him in...after breaking him out at night.

It wasn't until a chance encounter in the city with Lang and Yuan's group that his other power manifested. Now able to become a...harmless penguin and a powerful bird like creature, Daryl eager seeks to help more of his kind.

Powers: Daryl can morph into a talking penguin with all the natural powers of such a creature. His second power allows him to become a bird like create with solid energy wings. int he form he can manipulate this energy turning his wings into weapons or blast his foes with beams. He is also quite fast and strong like this.

Paraphernalia: Two combat knifes he keeps strapped to his heels.

Weaknesses: His Penguin form is rather useless in a fight unless he can get to water and flee. His other form's energy output can wear him out if he is not careful. He also hates to eat fish.

Name: Pandora Lee

Age: 3 (appears 17)

Moral Stance: Neutral

Appearance:

History: A creation of Gabe Smith before his division, Pandora is a back up of his power. Her task is to ensure that if his reunion does not go as well as it should she is to destroy him. Since her birth she has lived with Eli. She considers the Gabriels her Fathers and wishes not to have to do her duty.

Powers: Pandora can warp probability, making things succeed or fail as she wills it. Basically a walking coin toss. Her powers can affect all of the Gabe Smith's without fail. Her second power is complete immunity to her powers or mind being taken over, controlled or stolen, a necessity for her role.

Paraphenelia: She carries around a school bag with a Colt Magnum, an iPod, her make up and a few other odd bits.

Weaknesses: She cannot perform miracles with her powers like resurrect the dead. Plus she cannot control the outcomes of her powers unless that person is one of the Gabe's.
