So, for the time skip, what do we get? I mean, I know we were all promised one new element or something along those lines like....a year ago. But what else. I have a list of things I need to pick from...so...any ideas? Or shall I just lurk in my impatient-person-corner?

[IMPORTANT UPDATE]
With the advent into Chapter 4, we are increasing the strength of everyone's characters. Since the start of Chapter 4 will take place 6 months after the end of Chapter 3 (Don't worry, you're still free to do summer things in "The Summer" as much as you want), we are now doing the following:
* Opening up of Elemental and Physical Styles. (Type 1 and Type 2 respectively) Characters can each only have 1 style and it must be of an element that character already knows. Any element that character knows they can have a style of.
* Each character can have 3 more new abilities, leading up to a Maximum of 7 abilities total. Styles fill up 1 ability slot towards the maximum allowed per character. (NOTE: This ability cap currently only applies to students)
*Every characters current Ultimate is now classified as a "Mini-Ult" in the damage tier and characters may now have 1 of their new ability slots be filled with an "Ultimate" damage-tier ability.
*An current abilities a character has can now be upgraded. This allows for new effects, number of hits, more damage, etc. The damage of these abilities must still fall within their respective damage tiers given in the "Life and Mana System" thread in the "Nine Hearts Bios". Your characters old ultimates, which are now mini-ultimates, can also be upgraded with new effects, but must still have a damage that is within the "Mini-Ult" range.
* We will still be using the percentage life system, but only for more major/serious fights. If your character/characters get involved in smaller, non-essential fights (such as against nameless npcs), the percentage system does not need to be used.
* In addition to allowing characters to "edit" their abilities, we are allowing a COMPLETE REWRITE of all your character's current attacks and abilities that they have. They still must have a maximum of 7 abilities, but you can completely remake each an every one. Restrictions are limited to only 1 Mini-Ult, 1 Ultimate, and 1 Style.
PLOT-RELATED IMPORTANT
From Chapter 4 and onward, your characters will come across instances in the plot dealing with Ice and mine characters (And in some cases your own characters, which we will contact you about before hand) that will require your characters to make actions/decisions that influence the ENTIRE PLOT of Nine Hearts. These will have long-reaching effects that will completely change the ending from what it was originally intended to be OR they will have minor effects that little to do with anything at all and are just silly things. YOU WON'T KNOW UNTIL AFTERWARD!
Also, the first part of Chapter 4 is going to be more of a summary since Chapter 3 took a lot longer than we expected. We are condensing what was originally going to take place over 2 years into the 6 month time skip we're doing between the end of Chapter 3 and the beginning of Chapter 4.
After the summary part of Chapter 4, we are going to open up new threads pertaining to missions your character will be going on that deal with the plot of Nine Hearts from this point onward. These will be seperate threads like those used in Clank, FF, BB, and other RPs and they will be relatively short missions. When your characters aren't participating in the mission that the thread is about, you must post in the actual "Chapter 4" thread (and other chapters depending on how long this goes for, probably a while). REMINDER: Not every enemy is an enemy. Just because they're trying to kill you doesn't mean they can't be swayed to your side.
There is not set way to complete a mission. Missions will run as: You get an objective, you decide how to accomplish it, Ice and I will throw stuff in your way. SO, when you post, DON'T DO LONG POSTS. Keep them brief, keep actions short. Don't go "I bust open the door, run into the throne room, and engage the evil warlord". Go more like "I attempt to bust open the door" so that Ice (or myself) can tell you what succeeds or not (Sort of like a DnD campaign if you guys have ever played that.
Post any questions, comments, or concerns you may have with this! Even the silliest ones will be looked at!

Wow. This works out obscenely well for what I had planned for Sapphire. I'm ok with this.
Question!!! Is there an item limit? IE. Weaponry, potions, etc?

awesome. I like where these missions are going.
might I make a sugesstion? maybe you should make a thread that you edit as we go that says how many abilities we should have/ times where everyone gets to give one character something etc. Because it has gotten a bit confusing at times. like, during part 3 towards the end we got to give a character 1 power for the finals or something along those lines, and I know mine was something I talked with Ice about, because I was going to give a style to someone then. So, it's a bit confusing if that is considered that character's one style, or not. I don't plan on giving them another, it was only an example, but yeah.

@cp: The item limit is within reasonable, physical limitations. If you can find a way to hold, say, 50 potions that makes sense and you take into account their weight when using your character, go for it.
@ink: That's a good idea! Gonna go make one now actually...

I updated Lance's bio. Changed his race description, updates his magical masteries, some more lore, and completely updated his old abilities and made some new ones. Go check it out for a good idea of what you can do with this update.
