The dark creature slashed at Kazame, he barely had time to duck under the blade before the creature slammed his foot into Kazame's stomach. He was hurled backwards end over end before he came to a grinding halt against the castle wall behind him. His vision was blurred from the strike, and he couldn't see the creature as well as he should at the distance he was from it. He shook his head a few times, before his vision returned to normal and he stood up slowly. He was back in his nightmare again, the sky was a dark black and purple color, the ground a dark red. Kazame stared around at the floating mountains, the rivers of magma that flowed endlessly from within the walls of rock around him. The creature growled at him from its position and Kazame snapped his eyes back onto the monster. It stood hunched over, two insect like wings sticking out from its purple carapace. The creatures head was elongated and it kept snapping its mandibles in his directions. It raised its arms, and clicked its two scythe-like blades. The creature growled and roared before stabbing its blades into the ground. "Kazame" Kazame panicked, he didn't have his sword with him. He didn't have a weapon of any kind and this monster, whatever it was, wanted him dead. "Kazame" He looked around at the sound of his name. He knew he'd heard it. His attention turned back to the creature as it howled and began running towards him. The creature jumped into the air and its wings flapped once. It shot into the air, and then came flying downwards towards him. "KAZAME!" He lifted his arms up and prepared for the creatures blades to sink in.... "KAZAME WAKE UP!!!"
Kazame shot up in his chair, a cold sweat over his face. Standing in front of him, a very angry looking Mr. Shoten, the History teacher. "Glad you could come down from dreamland and join the lecture. Maybe if you spent less time staying up all night playing video games or chasing after girls, you'd be able to sleep at night." The short balding man said hitting Kazame in the head with a folded up paper. " I swear kids today, in my day we had respect, we knew better than to fall asleep in class. Otherwise we'd get beaten!" he growled again.
Kazame stood up and bowed his head. "Sorry Mr.Shoten, I didn't sleep to well last night. I was nervous about our first day of class sir, it won't happen again. I promise." he said staring at the teacher. "Hmmmph, well, that's more like it. Now then, take a seat and read the text on pg.39 for us. And maybe I'll forgive you huh." he said with a annoyed smirk.
"Yes sir," Kazame said before looking down at his text book. "The Normandy landings (codenamed Operation Neptune) were the landing operations on 6 June 1944 (termed D-Day) of the Allied invasion of Normandy in Operation Overlord during World War II. The largest seaborne invasion in history, the operation began the invasion of German-occupied western Europe, led to the restoration of the French Republic, and contributed to an Allied victory in the war....." he began reading as he yawned. Today was gonna be a long day.

Tetsuya glances over from his seat at Kazame as he was woken up and told to read. He tries to follow along in his own textbook, in case he was called next, but seeing Kazame asleep on his desk had only caused a fear to well up inside him of falling asleep himself. He knew he wouldn't get in as much trouble as his classmate due to his condition, but he doubted Mr.Shoten would be happy about another interruption to his class.
Tetsuya keeps trying to read along, but slowly his nerves mixed with the natural anxiety of his first day of classes as a high school student cause his mind to wander again. All of his teachers had been supposedly informed of his narcolepsy and were supposed to know that he may suddenly pass out in class, or in the halls. But what if Mr.Shoten hadn't been, or missed the memo? In homeroom, Mr.Clark had informed the class of his condition as well, so surely someone would inform Mr.Shoten if he hadn't been informed.
Yes, someone would surely let him know, and all would be fine. However, it wasn't the first impression he had had in mind. He had only gone to junior high with a few of the students in their class, so most of the others didn't know him, or his old reputation. The last thing his new start needed was his narcolepsy to kick in, and cause his old nickname 'Sleeping Beauty' to return. He appreciated the compliment implied, but really didn't want his nickname to be the name of a Disney Princess.
Tetsuya shifts a little in his seat, and attempts to get his mind off the possibility of falling asleep at any moment.

Kazame finished the passage and looked down. His head was buzzing, and his mind was swimming in a fog. He closed his eyes and quickly forced them open. He couldn't afford to fall asleep, not again, Mr. Shoten would kill him. He sighed as the class bell rang, and Mr Shoten began packing up. "Alright then students, I expect you all to have finished the chapter on World War 2 by tomorrow. At the end of the section there is a twenty five question quiz. Do it for homework, and bring it in tomorrow, you know the drill." the older man said as he left the room. "Oh and Kazame, get a good nights sleep would you." he said as he closed the door behind him.
Some of the students laughed at the comment, "Good job Kaza!" Hero Katsabi said with a laugh. "Yeah, real smart trying to sleep in the front row!" another boy named Shingen Tama yelled out laughing. "Yeah well I had to try right?" Kazame said laughing with them. He put his text book away inside his desk and looked around the classroom. From his Junior High class, there were a few people. Both Hero and Shingen, were on the Kendo team with him, they had been since he had started. A few girls, Sina Minagawa, a short and skinny blonde girl he'd been in school with most of his academic career. Sasami Nu, an extremely athletic girl with long black hair and big green eyes. Many thought she was the prettiest girl in all of the class. She was on her way to becoming the Captain of the Swim team. Igo Torukami, a body building giant of a boy. He wasn't a member of any of the clubs at the school yet, but nobody dared to make fun of him for it, well nobody who wanted to stay alive that is.
Kazame glanced over at Tetsuya, they had been in the same class the year prior, but Kazame had never really paid much attention to him. Their day was half over, he wasn't sure how he'd managed to stay awake through his first couple classes, but lunch was coming up and he was happy about that fact. His stomach was growling, and he just wanted to put something, anything into his stomach.
Hero walked over to him and slapped him in the back. "Hey buddy, lets get moving so we actually have a place to eat alright?" Hero said pushing him forward slightly. "I wanna get some grub before I die over here." Shingen said walking up on his other side.
"Hey guys no worries alright, I'm sure there's going to be plenty of food, just give me a second to get up, sheesh." Kazame said as he yawned again. He let himself get dragged out of the room by his two teammates, they had no patience for a guy like him.

Tetsuya sighs with relief as the class ends, and he puts away his textbook. He looks around a moment to see what lunch groups were forming up. A few of the girls who had gone to other schools were grouping up, and of course Kazame and the other Kendo stars were together, the same could be said of some of the other friends who had gone to Sakurai Junior High with him.
After a moment he turns in his seat and looks out the window. He had brought his own lunch like he usually did, so going to eat in the cafeteria seemed a little pointless. He thought about going up to the roof to eat, but that was a place you went with your friends to eat, and considering he was currently lacking those that didn't seem right either. He reaches into his bag and pulls out the box lunch his father had prepared for his first day. As soon as he lifts the lid, wonderful aroma's of the food inside waft into the room. He smiles to see his father had made him fried rice and steak from the restaurant. He looks up and three girls he didn't know had crowded around his desk and were smelling and looking at his food.
"Wow! That looks good!" One of the girls says. Her hair was brown and held back in a bun.
The girl to the right who was rather short and had her hair back in a ponytail simply stared at the rice longingly.
The third girl on the left, who had short wavy blonde hair looks at him "Did you make that yourself?"
"He better not have. It's not right, a guy being that good looking and able to cook." A boy with short brown hair standing near the window with another group of boys says.
"Shut up Kaito! No one asked you!" the blond snaps.
"It's...Shibamoto right?" the girl with the ponytail asks him, finally taking her eyes off his meal.
Tetsuya looks at her and nods "Y-yes...Tetsuya is fine though. And, no I didn't make this my father did. He owns the Golden Koi in town..." he says softly
"Oh! So that's where I've heard that name!" the brunette says. She looks to the door and another girl wave her and the other two over "Oh there's Mai, come on you two." she says to the other two girls "Nice talking to you Tetsuya!" she smiles and they go.
Tetsuya nods "Yeah." he says quietly. As the girls walk away, he can hear the blond girl giggle "He's cute!". He sighs and starts to eat his rice at his desk.

As Kazame and his two teammates slammed him down onto a chair Kazame sighed, his friends were very hungry it seemed. Hero and Shingen both turned in unison and rushed off to the front of the food line. He knew they'd get him something. Kazame just stared at his table listening to the other students arguing about food and drinks and others were celebrating being back together since the summer had kept them apart. "Hey guys I'm heading up to the roof!" Kazame yelled over at his friends. "Yeah cool! We'll find you!" Hero shouted back. Kazame got up and quickly made his way into the hallway. He pulled out a paper map and found his way to the roof. The sunlight hit his eyes and before he knew it he had a corner all to himself. He let his eyes adjust to the light and then looked around quickly. He wasn't alone on the roof, there wasn't that many people on the roof when compared to the cafeteria, but there were about a dozen people. He recognized Sina, she smiled at him and waved slightly, she was sitting with a group of older girls. One girl in particular was starring back at him, Sina was talking to her very quickly it seemed, and the upper class-man only seemed to be paying half attention to her. Her eyes were a very bright amber, they looked almost orange. She had shoulder length orange blonde hair. It took him a moment to realize, that the girl was Asuna Yuki, the captain of the Kendo Club. Her eyes had thrown him off, they were normally a soft hazel, not hazel, or orange. She had beaten him during his summer tryouts for the position of Club Captain. Their fight had been amazing, but she always seemed to be one move ahead of him during the match, until she had smacked his Kendo sword out of his hand. Asuna was sitting with another girl, a girl who he'd been warned about by a few older students to try and avoid. She was known as a loony detective who would do anything for information. She ran the schools Newspaper, but he couldn't remember her name. Asuna asked Sina something, and the younger girl nodded before pointing at Kazame. Before he had a chance to think a hand slammed into his back and Kazame fell face first onto the cement of the roof. "Why THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT FOR YOU MORON!" Kazame shouted smacking Hero on the head. "I didn't think you'd fall flat on your face!" Hero shouted back holding back laughter. "It's alright Hero, just...what did you bring me." He said sitting back down onto his butt, his face hurt alot. "Beef stew and dumplings." He said giving him a bowl and the dumpling. "Thanks I guess." Kazame said still annoyed.

The other girl sitting with Sina and Asuna, was none other than Eri Yasogana: Metzo High's ace reporter. She had a notepad in her hands, and had been jotting things down as Sina talked. She glances over at Kazame and the others when Sina points, and watches as Kazame is knocked down. "Uh huh..." she says and starts jotting something else down "Glad I didn't just rely on your word Asuna-chan." she chuckles and winks "Ryu Kazame, sixth in the country in Kendo, about a..." she looks him over from her spot "Ehh...Six on initial inspection, and a bit of a klutz." she reads off her notepad. "Hmm...looks like he had that other one," she flips through her notepad to a prior page "Hero Katsabi, also a six, bring him his lunch. Katsabi's also on the Kendo team...very close with Kazame and Shingen Tama, seven." Eri taps her chin with her mechanical pencil as she reviews her information "Hmm...and he fell asleep in class..." she mutters and flips back to Kazame's page in her notepad. she makes another note and then jumps up from her seat. "Well I'm off to the first year classrooms for more research!" she holds up her pencil like it were a microphone "Eri Yasogana is on the story, sorting out the studs from the duds! Keep an eye out for the article ladies." she smiles at them and then waves goodbye before running towards the steps. She circles around Kazame, Hero and Shingen once to get another look at them, before going down the steps.
------------((OOC: XD first location separator of the RP))
Tetsuya sits and quietly eats his lunch alone. He listens in on some of the thoughts of his classmates, but nothing was too interesting. There was one reference to him from someone, he wasn't sure who, wondering why he was eating alone. He finishes up the rest of his lunch rather quickly, and looks up at the clock to see how much time he had left. "Oh...geez now what do I do? I can't just sit here awkwardly..." he thinks, and tries to decide what he wanted to do next. His thought is interrupted when the classroom door slides open quickly.
"Hellooooo first years!" Eri stood in the doorway, grinning at all of them. "I'm Eri Yasogana of the Metzo High Tribune, which one of you wants to be first for interview for the school paper!" she exclaims.
Everyone in the room looks around awkwardly. They had either been warned of Eri before hand, or were just overwhelmed by her sudden and excited appearance.
Eri smirks and looks around the room "Come on, somebody's got to be up for it." as she scans the room, her eyes rest on Tetsuya. She smiles "YOU!" she grins and runs over to him. "You're not too busy are you?"
Tetsuya smiles a little "I guess not." he says softly.
As soon as he says that Eri grabs his wrist and pulls him up "Then let's go! There aren't a lot of people on the roof right now we can go up there!" she giggles and drags him out of the room into the hall.

Asuna didn't have a chance to agree before Eri had run off. "I love that girl." she said with a small chuckle. The girl Sina, who'd given her all the info on Kazame and a few of the other Freshmen year boys, had been easy to push into giving out the info. Asuna stared over at Kazame and smiled, his swordsmanship was amazing and if not for her own natural abilities she would of been beaten rather quickly during their summer match. Kazame had seen the reporter take off and he'd nearly choked on his food. "Jesus she's fast." he choked out before swallowing. "And cute." Hero said punching Kazame on the shoulder.

Tetsuya tries to say something to Eri as she pulls him down the hall, however he was somewhat in shock form her energy. He instead listens to the thoughts of people they pass as he is dragged down the hall by the smiling reporter. "Heh, looks like Eri's caught a first year." he hears someone say, or think (he wasn't entirely sure).
"Alright! The roof is this way!" Eri says and opens the door to the stairs up. She continues to drag him along, smiling all the way up until they reach the roof. "Hmm...where to sit...Over there!" she smiles and jogs over to an open bench near the edge of the roof. She sits down and flips to a new page in her notebook. "Take a seat."
Tetsuya nods and sits, glancing around at the others on the roof, and catching more sympathetic thoughts from some of the older students.
Eri grins "Alright handsome, what is your name?" she asks.
"Oh...umm. Tetsuya Shibamoto." he says timidly, feeling embarrassed that it had taken so long for him to introduce himself, and for what she had called him.
"Shibamoto? Ah ha! So you're the Prince of the Golden Koi I've heard about!" Eri smiles "Tell me more about yourself, interests, hobbies, anything you want to divulge."
Tetsuya laughs a little "Well, I...umm." he mutters, confused because Eri was writing down notes at an alarming pace considering he had said so little.
"Any clubs?" Eri asks, ignoring his lack of answers to her previous question.
"No...I haven't joined any yet. But...I want to. I just don't know what's available." Tetsuya smiles, trying his best to be likable.
"Hmm, well you could always join the school newspaper..." Eri smirks deviously behind her notepad.
"I think that might be a bit of a biased suggestion sempai." Tetsuya chuckles
Eri laughs, loudly. "Yeeeah, I had to try." she looks him over for a moment "Hmm, you'd fit right in with the Idol Club, and our lead male just graduated so we're looking for some new talent. Other than that, there are sports teams, the student counsel, the basics." she shrugs, and stares at him a bit more, before continuing to furiously jot down information. "What school did you go to before this Tetsuya-kun?"
"Oh, Sakurai Junior High...I was in the same class as-" Tetsuya stops short and suddenly collapses, falling off the bench.
Eri is speechless for a moment and stares at him in shock "...Tetsuya?" she says and prods him lightly with her pencil, before screaming "Hey are you ok?!"
