As Winrei steps through she is greeted by a mist filled forest filled with gnarled trees. "Wow...this sure is a creepy place." She looks around. "I wonder what brought us here."
"Not what, who. Where are you? Mop demands you show yourself." Dale yells.
"You don't need to shout Old Friend, I am here." Emerging from the mists was Tevram Kosev. "I felt you were making a portal so I brought it here to my turf. In case you were followed."
"And you are?" Winrei asks.
"Tevrem Kosev, Lord of the Dark Elves, and you are in the center of my Kingdom." Tevram then notices the book. "Oh? So you found the old sage's replica...I thank you then for releasing Dale. i couldn't break his seal as it needed a pure hearted virgin to cast the spell...and I do not qualify."
"Pure hearted....well you're no gentleman, that's for sure." Winrei says.
"Brother, how we missed you." Dale says walking up to him.
"It has been too long." Tevram says. "But I must tend to my guests first." He walks up to them. "Are you three alright?"

Shiriki reverts to his natural form. "Vior nyn tu loe?" he says
"Tu somrl ri bmis tis eia oku niote." Shima says back.
"Y'p sujj." Shiriki replies
"He says he's well. Shiriki does not speak this language, he only knows the tongue of the moon." Shima explains "I am Shima, leader of our pack, small as it may be. Shiriki is my pup, not through blood, but through fang."

Dale started "Two blasphemous heathen and one lecherous whore..."
"Not you, them." Tevram says.

"I'd like to know that too. I just heard a distress call from Shiriki and followed it to the Nethervoid." Shima says
"I was searching for the other like you asked, and it brought me to a forest. The one...Durmalga they called him, and the werewolf ambushed me. Winrei came to help me and we were both captured. Winrei said they wanted us as..." Shiriki says
"Sex slaves. That much you told me." Shima says

"I was visiting an old friend...they killed her and her whole family...only because I was there. That Durmalga guy...he said he wanted to..." Winrei drops to her knees. "Camille...oh God...she's dead..."
Tevram's face didn't show it but he felt like killing something.
Dale, snapping out of his madness a moment walks up to Wnrei and puts a hand on her shoulder and begins to say a proper prayer, one not even involving mop, to her in order to comfort her.

Winrei wipes her eyes. "Thank you Dale. You're sweet."
Dale smiles. "Mop says he's sorry too. He promises to purge them with his mighty wrath."
"Indeed. I will add this to the list of reason to kill them." Tevram says. "Tell me...did you see a young man there? Wields two pole arm like weapons?"
"N...no." Winrei says.

"Damn..." Tevram says. "And we can't go back."
"Why not?" Winrei asks.
"That realm is borne of chaos...it's plane is constantly shifting. If we tried we could wind up anywhere. It would not be worth the risk." Tevram says.

"A boy in service of...my ex wife." Tevram says those last three words painfully.
"Vinitia's here?" Dale asks.
"Yes Dale...she's at the castle talking with Ildor, the current king." Tevram says.
"...how long where we gone?" Dale asks.
"...almost 800 years. Both you and Nostroth have been lost until now. He's there too." Tevram says. "At any rate he is someone important to her, one of her most treasured knights."
"Wait, you're talking with King Ildor? Heh...my teacher is one of his Nobles. Naprista. I am her top student." Winrei says.
"Naprista...I think I saw her about..." Ildor muses.

"Well then we should get you back to her." Shima says "And then Shiriki, I think the remainder of our search should be carried out together."
"Yes...I wasn't strong enough..." Shiriki says saddly
Shima pats his head "It's ok little one. You'll learn."

"No." Winrei says. "I'm not about to leave you unattended right now. Those bastards will be back and they'll have help."
"She is right. That scum is persistent scum." Tevram looks to Dale. "No, I need to keep an eye on you..." He looks back at Shima. "I can't in good conscience let you go without aid. If you allow me we can go to my camp and I can assign you a warrior to aide you until the demons lose interest in you. Plus this one might help you in this search for...whoever you seek. Is that ok My Lady?"

"Wait...you...you're the Scion of War. The Deathbringer." Winrei's eyes widen in surprise.
"I am he." Tevram says. "That should ensure the quality of my offer if nothing else."
"Wow. We're in good hands." Winrei says.
