Braith chuckles "Get to know me better?" she walks towards him "So you mean you want to have sex?"

"That's part of it. I seriously though want to get to know you though. You seem like a very interesting woman." Kurok says. "Young man, don't pull out your sword. It will break on me. My flesh is nigh invulnerable. The only thing tougher is the flesh of my own son." He says turning to Ronku. "A warrior needs to know when to pull his blade. To do it haphazardly invites death, and if you make a mistake like that against a real foe you will die and your mother will weep."

Ronku just looked frustrated.
Braith smiles "Don't mind him, he has a temper. Partially my fault, it's what happens when you feed a baby Ancient demon's milk. He's stuck somewhere between the two races now." she walks over and drapes her arms over Ronku and kisses his cheek "He's just protective of Mommy."
Ronku nods.
"I think his problem is you're married." Braith says
Ronku nods.

"I know that's strange kiddo but my wife and I have an arrangement due to our upbringings. Her line has offspring with many to produce variety in their bloodline...heck...for all I know she'll leave me eventually once she finds another. Or if I find one. I love her but...I can feel some distance and...well...I can see the writing on the wall. My boy is a man...my time is almost done. I'll likely stay on as part of her army but likely I'll be cast off soon." Kurok laughs.
"Damn kid. You got some knack for making me talk like that. Those eyes might be a better weapon than that blade. Especially if you got that much out of a proud warrior like me. I don't usually admit weakness to anyone." Kurok then lets out a sigh. "So yeah...I might have better intentions than you think here."

Ronku groans, but nods.

"Ronku...I'll do you this much." Kurok removes his sword and hands it to him. "I'll surrender my weapon to you. That and my own code will make me completely vulnerable to whatever you can muster if you perceive me as a threat. Is that satisfactory for you?"

Ronku looks at the sword, and takes it. He sits down at the table and nods.
Braith kisses his forehead. "That's Mommy's big man."

"Well I could always challenge him to hit me once. I can parry with the flat of my blade and see if he can break my guard." Kurok says. "I'm a skilled swordsman so...it'd be quite a test."
