Pendragon bites the inside of his cheek to keep himself quiet. He then backs down, and moves slightly behind Vadris. He thinks on it, and realizes Lucas had been another person he was cruel to. Vanora looks at Eli and nods "Absolutely terrible..." she agrees with Elias as she walks over to Eli. She takes his hands sadly and looks at them a moment before looking at him "Come here...you need to meet someone. And then we'll see what we can do for that cough." she says. Linette looks at Vanora "Oh wow she is really pretty..." she whispers to Leo ----- Oz smiles "It seems there are many marriages about to happen." "Indeed there are." Cazo nods. he truns his head towards the door "The news must be out about you My Lord...someone is coming rather hurriedly." ------- Freya smiles as they leave "This is wonderful news!" she hugs Honzai "Our wedding day is so wonderful!" --- Odette nods "Yes, I'm really not one to get angry." she smiles "You should know that Ness." ---- "Indeed. He mght take my job someday..." Rodric smiles. ------ Kristya smiles and giggles "Alright, I accept your offer. So long as when another important opportunity is offered to you, you don't decline it because of me. I know something really good is going to come for you soon, and by Golly I'm not gunna' be the reason you don't go for it!" she smiles ----- Sireth grins and laughs with his friend. He had pulled him aside to a small room and the two men were chatting it up again. "It hasss been far too long Godwin...Thisss life...it doessss not sssuit you."  The man, Godwin chuckles "It may not, but it is my life. And I make with it what I will, with the faith that my hard work will pay off." "But...you could have ssso easssily escaped." Sireth sighs "Maybe, but what good would that have done the others? You can work from the outside Sireth, I am proud of you for sticking to your beliefs without becoming hate filled. But if I am going to help others like I did you, I must stay here." Godwin says "I know...and with any luck you will not need to for much longer. We are nearing an end to thisss my friend...Ssssoon you will be a free man...I ssswear it." |

"Vanora..." Eli freezes up. "...please...don't build up my hopes."
"You know Big Guy...peace won't happen if you attack someone like that." Vadris says to Vengak.
"She is. Though...I find someone else far prettier." Leo says, looking at Linette.

"It should either be your wife to be, sister or Estelle." Naprista guesses.

Honzai hugs her back. "Yeah, it's really shaping up." He smiles.

"Would that be so bad? All people must retire one day." Ildor says.

"So long as you don't think acceptance is going to mean I abandon my promise. Do so and it's a deal." Travis says.

"No...you need this...the other me shouldn't have kept this from you and I'm sorry..." Vanora says and leads him closer to Gordon.
Gordon stands up straight and keeps his head held high as he looks at Eli.
Vanora stops a few feet from him and looks back into Eli's eyes "This is Gordon...you might already know that but...the other me didn't tell you who he is. Gordon is your son, and his mother is the other me. You deserved to know." she says with concern.
Pendragon retreats a bit farther behind Vadris "It's...ok Dad....I sort of deserve it..." he mutters.
Linette blushes and elbows him lightly "Oh you...stop."

Oz watches the door to see who it was.
Mirael enters a few moments later and looks around "I heard the news..." she says
Cazo nods "Lord Osi-...Oz, this is Lady Mirael. She is your fiancé." he says
Oz looks at her and bows a little "Milady..." is all he can think to say.
Mirael walks over to him and looks at him a moment. She places a hand on the side of his face and moves some of his hair. She then moves all of his hair back like it would be if he had it in a ponytail. she chuckles and lets it back down "How did none of us see it sooner? You...look just like you did when you were younger. You wore your hair up a lot back then...I like it better down."
Anna held her hands together near her face, marveling in awe at how romantic this moment seemed.

Rodric chuckles "Very true...very true." he closes his eyes and thinks "In time even I will have to step aside. Maybe then he will be the most worthy to take my place..." something about the way he was speaking showed that this was an amusing topic to Rodric.

Kristya smiles "It's a deal partner."

Godwin chuckles "We will see...now then, a more important issue." he leans in "Tell me you are seeing someone lad."
"I am afraid not." Sireth chuckles
"YOU'RE NOT?" Godwin says with shock "Why the hell not? A man your age should be wooing ladies, having children! Don't tell me this rebel business is stopping you."

"Wh....what...no....no...why..." Eli clutches his chest. "Why do I find out now of all times?"
Vengak lets out an aggravated growl. "Damn it all..."
"What's...wrong?" Elias asks. "I thought you'd be pleased to know."
"It's...not that. To kill...our Atronus...I lured him into a trap...with a gas that poisons demons. Being that Ancients are one part Demon..." Eli looks away. "I thought I had nothing left to lose. That...I was...expendable..." he shuts his eyes. "If I had known...."
Elias looked horrified. "I...you're dying?"
"Yes...and what's worse, by being here I'm hurting Gamuldar." Eli says before looking at Gordon, tears running down his face. "Why....why didn't she tell me?"

"That's cool." A voice says from behind.
Ginza lets Rhis and Rowena go. "Told you. Fastest in all the lands."
"Thank you Ginza." Rowena says.
"Tell Celtie not to sneak up on Honzai next time. he's touchy like that." Ginza says to Naprista.
"No promises." Naprista says.

"Well we're here now. The library. Also...Miljac...Osiron's soul is found. Turns out it's Oz." Janindra says.
"Wh...what?" Ness remarks. "No way."
"Cool." Saida says.
"Great, Raika wanted to light the king's best friend on fire..." Ness groans.

"Would there be issues with that from him or others?" Ildor asks, catching on.

"There's a Barilli girl in his forces who has her eyes on him. I'm not sure how he thinks of it but it's rather obvious." Jagi says as he walks up. "Sorry to bother you Sireth but the King wants you. Likely he's going to tell you why both you guys and the slavers get to walk away with your heads."

Vanora frowns "There must be something we can do....Who made the poison? Surely they can make an antidote...I know! That Brutus fellow who works for my brothers knows a thing or two about that...and there's King Ildor's magical researchers...And if we have to we can sort through Caedmon's library."

Mirael looks at Rhis and steps aside from Oz.
"Oz...This is Rhisiart, your son." Cazo says
Rhis stares at Oz a moment, almost seeming hesitant. his eyes water up and he rushes over to him and hugs him "Father..."
Oz was a little shocked but puts his arms around Rhis, knowing that even though he didn't have any memories about the two of them, Rhis did. And to deny him this would be hurtful.
"I thought I lost you..." Rhis says, holding in tears

"Good thing we usually don't listen to Raika's ideas for magic..." Odette mutters.
Miljac smiles "Good to hear! Funny how things like that work out!" he says happily

"No need to lecture me, I am well aware my friend." Sireth sighs "Jagi, thisss isss Godwin, an old friend. It wasss hisss wordsss that inssspired me to take control of my life and ssstart the rebellion." he smirks "Even though that wasssn't what he wasss going for."
"I wanted you to do with it what you would. And you did." Godwin smiles.

"Osiron and I...he was the only one I knew of that could help me." Eli says. "But...the poison is too deadly....we'd have to make it to get the cure and....if it fell into the wrong hands...I...can't let it exist in this time...too dangerous." Eli coughs up some blood.
Elias looks at him, angry. "WHY? WHY WOULD I THROW MY LIFE AWAY LIKE THAT?"
"Try...living without her. Without Vanora in your life. We're...more like Tevram that you or I would care to admit. The only difference is he can't die..." Eli says. "I couldn't do it...and if I didn't stop Osron he'd have died again. I couldn't...let that...happen....again..." Eli tries to stand up. "Vadris and I...we couldn't get along."
"Well not if you're going to be like that." Vadris says.
"Vadris." Elias snaps.
"He gave up, you haven't yet. Besides, I'm pissed off at him now. Vanora...you've gone and hurt her. You damn liar." Vadris snaps.
"I know....I...know." Eli says.
"Well you're still an ass." Gaos says.
"Nice to see you too Gaos." Vadris smirks. "How's life?"
"Good. it'll be better once I get things straightened out here." Gaos says.

"There's more...our world...it's...it's gone. Rhis...he..." Eli shuts his eyes. "He wiped out everything. Whoever was there...they're all gone. Which means...I will never see my Vanora again..." Eli looks up at Gordon before looking away. "...and so...twice over I've...done this for nothing. Gordon...I...you...have your mothers eyes. How...did I not see it?"

Gordon watches his fathers. He smiles a bit, proud to see that his father wasn't an entirely lost cause.
Vanora leans on Gordon and smiles as well. "That's more like it."

Gordon nods "Mother still loved you, she just did not like what had become of you. So, to ease both of your hearts a bit, she came to you. You believed it to be a dream, but in fact it was her. When she realized she was pregnant with me, she left to spend time with Uncle Rhisiart. I was born there and after she raised me some and had to leave, he finished raising me. She had me swear to never seek you out, as she feared you might instigate a new fight with Vadris if you knew I existed. It would have led to what she feared most, you two killing each other." he explains "As for Uncle Rhisiart...he destroyed our home because he had enough of it. He could no longer see any good in it other than Pendragon. So he sent us here to spare us that fate, and to give us a second chance."
