The bios for these don't need to be very descriptive, they can be just a general idea like this:
This world is based on the Myizaki films, most specifically Princess Mononoke. The setting for those who haven't watched this (and shame on you if you haven't) is basically like feudal Japan. (So keep that in mind when making characters)
In this world there are:
-humans
-Gods, which can be anything from the spirit of a tree to the ruler of an entire forest
-Demons, Gods, that for one reason or another, have become tainted/driven mad
-and humans that have been blessed by a god or demon. these humans have special powers depending on what the powers of their god/demon's powers are.
when a God or demon (usually a god) blesses a human, they take responsibility of that human and form a sort of bond with them. The more humans the God blesses, the more influential the humans are over it. Because of this, if blessed humans decide to use their gifts for evil, it could result in the God turning into a demon. This also works in reverse, If a god turns into a demon, the humans blessed by it become evil as well. So, in short, the actions of a god or the humans they've blessed greatly influence each other.
currently in the world, there is a lot of tension between humans blessed by gods, and those who haven't been. Many normal humans fear those who have been blessed and fear leads to aggression.
There are, for obvious reasons, far more normal humans than blessed.
I think that about covers it. If you need ideas for gods or demons I suggest looking up mythological Japanese creatures or tales, because that is the general vibe to this RP.
