"I can't. For if I do...I become my Mother...or worse...My Father." Zeram says. "I don't want to give in...to become capable of doing all this myself."
"You're an idiot. There was no way you should have lost." Walking in was Zog, who had made his way over to them in the confusion. "You may be a pussy but you're my brother. No one of mother's blood could be as weak as you were."
"Zog...fuck off." Zeram says. "I don't want to talk to you."
"Fine, skip right to the beating then." Zog cracks his knuckles.
"THIS IS HOLY GROUND, A HAVEN FOR THE INNOCENT. DON'T YOU DARE!!!" Zeram snaps.
"And there it is. So easy to manipulate Zeram." Zog scoffs.
"I...you ass." Zeram glares.

"I'm not." Elias says. "I won't lose you too. They won't kill him. It's too specific a kidnapping. Llyr...as far as they know he's nothing important...unless they know something we don't. Like who he might actually be on this side. They might have a clue of his origins."
"That makes sense." Rondar says. "It's a valid point Lord Hyoma. It won't stay our hands to find him but...it gives reason that he's got value enough to be alive."
Elias frowns. "He has to be. If anything happens to him...I'll find this Sardoth on our side and kill him where he sleeps."
Tevram laughs. "Oh dear Child....how I wish that was possible."

"No, I meant you have a Dad who thinks little of you too." Krios says.

Gilbert fixes his glasses. "I also have to tell him to do all he can for the people here. Hector's going to need the distraction."

Hector was standing over Gregor's body. "Damn it Gregor...you didn't have to do that. I...you shouldn't have had to pay for my hesitation."
"Now I'm not normally Mr. Sensitive but...I think he'd be insulted to hear you say that." Svendal says. "Don't get me wrong either. You're entitled to guilt but...what is, is Hector Grey. He died so you could live. It'd be a shame if you turned around and waste the years he gave you." Svendal then fades away, heading to his master's side.
"The Jester has a point." Anastasia says, standing there. "I am...without my love. My son is...without a father. Don't you dare...make that meaningless." Anastasia stands there, choking back tears.
"Son?" Hector says. "He was here for eight years and..."
"He never knew. I never got the chance to tell." Anastasia says.
"My...my God I..." Hector drops to his knees. "Gregor...damn it..."
"GET UP." Anastasia says. "STAND. YOU'RE A GREY DAMN IT!! YOU HIS BROTHER. THAT MAN GAVE UP ON NO ONE. IF YOU WISH TO HONOR HIM YOU BETTER DO THE SAME!!"
Hector sits there for a few seconds more before sliding his arms under Gregor's body. "You're...absolutely right." Hector picks up Gregor's body and rises up. "He fought until he died. Even in death he stood strong, a Grey never died with as much honor than that." Tears were running down his face. "This man, who I shunned in life...has taught me so much in passing. More than I can ever repay."
Around him the member of his troop all stood tall and saluted.
"Men, today we lost two brothers. One who was a false hearted deviant...and the truest hero I've ever known. I know you're all tired, hurt and have suffered as much as this yourselves. But I ask those of you who can, help me to take this hero's body to a safe haven. This man saved Amuldar. The tide began to turn with his death. May we all be this noble when our time comes." Hector begins to walk and his men from a perimeter around him, even those who were hurt. For them it did not matter. For they owed it to the one who helped spare their home further calamity.
