Personality: He comes off brash and haughty but that's just at a first glance. Vincnte is, at heart, a loving and caring ruler. His ability to manipulate is simple a merchant's skill, something vital for the leader of the heart of commerce of this world. He is a man of the people and shows it whenever possible and believe no man, woman or child should be left wanting, a fact he shows by often manifesting jewels for the poor to sell or trade for goods as he travels.
Fears: Failing his people, losing Simon, growing old alone.
Likes: Helping others, his Mythril Golems, Simon, smart women, his brother Daecon.
History: The eldest of two sons by the previous king, Vincente became ruler when he was 16 and has since lead Geos Grande into a prosperous era they hadn't seen in a few hundred years. Vincente longs for the day when he can find his bride to be but until then he indulges himself in the Games as the overseer of his nation's own champions.
Skills: he is an adept with his sword, an heirloom passed down through the ages. It has no name but he's working on that. it's blade is made of diamond and was made by the first ruler's Earth Magic.
Magic Abilities: Vincente has total mastery of Earthen magic. He can build his own personal castle our of rock and dirt if seconds if he so wished.
Weaknesses: Vincente will never harm an innocent, not even if it mans his own end. His fears of failing his people can also be used against him if on poses a credible threat to Geos Grande.

Personality: As a member of the Grande Guardsmen, Simon is devoted to his nation and his king. Moreso due to his role as Vincente's body double. The two are close friends and are steadfastly loyal to each other. Simon has a lot of Vincente's views on morality but knows his duty comes first and will act on it if need be. however he is afraid the more he acts as Vincente, the less he'll act as himself.
Fears: Vincente dying, losing himself, failing the younger prince.
Likes: Vincente, his duty, baked potatos
History: An orphan taken in by the Grande Guardsman due to his uncanny semblance to the then Prince Vincente. Having fought in many tournaments and having become close to being champion before has only driven him to grow in skill and power. But he is hounded by fears that should he continue to lose, he might not be kept around.
Fears: Not becoming champion, Being dismantled by Vincente.
Likes: Battle, winning, partying
History: A Mythril Golem made by Vincente's Grandfather, Barbardos is the pinnacle of Mythril golem design. With a power core made of a magic crystal found while mining Geos Grande's many caves, Barbardos is brimming with power. A Veteran Champion, he lives every moment training for the next fight so he can finally win.
Skills: Standing at roughly 10 feet, Barbardos is pure physical power. His strength and durable body allow him staying power as well as the might to crush many foes.
Magic Abilities: Barbardos' magical core not only sustains him indefinitely but allows him to fire magical blast of pure energy from his chest.
Weaknesses: If Barbardos overuses his crystal's blasts his endurance drops. If it looks like he's losing he gets desperate and this can be abused by a wily enough foe.

Appearance:
Personality: A ruthless hunter and fighter, Tira's blades have made short work of many a foe. She failed her first Rite of passage, but that defeat only made her more ruthless and determined to win. Cares not for anything else right now except victory and will go through her own people to do it.
Fears: Losing, being disgraced a second time.
Likes: Winning, killing, hunting.
History: A vicious woman who earned the right to fight after both completely her first Rite of passage after a first attempt met with failure due to overconfidence, and by challenging the previous Champion of her clan in a fight to the death and killing him. Tira seeks nothing but to prove she is the best.
Skills: Her skills with her daggers is impressive, as she has taken down bears with but one in a head on fight during her second Rite. She can also handle a bow and arrow with uncanny accuracy (she has one, it's just not shown in the pic)
Magic Abilities: She has tracking spells that allow her to find her prey once marked by an incantation wherever they go. She also knows magic that can heal minor wounds and take the edge off of major ones (like stopping the bleeding an such).
Weaknesses: She thinks nothing of others and their abilities. this may lead to her being caught off guard.

Personality: A distant loner, quite the opposite of much of his race. Shunned for being born of a human mother, Sevak behaves quite differently from his people. Due to his father being the village Shaman (though his full blood brother will inherit the role), he has been taught much int he ways of spirituality, as well as shamanistic magics.
Fears: Shaming his Father, persecution from other Wild, being misunderstood by outsiders.
Likes: The spirits, his Father, the wind.
History: The son of a Wild Father and human mother he took in, Sevak's mother passed during child birth due to problems with adapting to Velos' climates. Raised separately from his father's people Sevak was raised with th hop that he can help his people look past their xenophobia and accept that which is different. he entered the tournament after he figured that would be the best course for his goal.
Skills: He is skilled in fighting with long knives and spears.
Magic Abilities: His magical prowess is immense due to his firm willpower. This magic allows him to take more damage than most and even stand when one normally would be on the ground, half dead. He can also cast bolts of energy out from his hands. He is capable of communing with nature and the spirits of the dead but this has no real effect in combat.
Weaknesses: As his power is derived from his will, if on could break it his power would drop considerably. Though this would be a hard task to accomplish.

Personality: An earnest young man eager to prove the teachings of his Foster Father to the world, Tai is a serious fighter. He shows no quarter to anyone based on age or gender as he sees it as disrespectful and lives by a strict code of honor. He seeks no glory for himself in this tournament, just the chance to redeem his foster father's name.
Fears: Being dishonored, failing to redeem his father.
Likes: Respectable foes, good fights, fried rice, quiet meditation
History: A boy whose parents died from a sickness, Tai wandered the lands of Genagis at the age of 11, seeking a place that would take him in. He was found by an Aegis named Felram Sindonas, a former Champion of Genagis that was shamed and disqualified from the tournament when he refused to fight his foe. It seems his gauntlets were tampered with illegaly, given runs that would allow the wearer to poison whoever they'd hit with a fatal toxin.
Touched by the valor of such a tale, Tai asked if he could be trained to fight like Felram did and was taken in by him. Over the next 11 years he was taught all Felram could know until one day Felram fell dead of age. Leaving home Tai signed up for the next tournament, which would not be for another 6 months at the time so he has trained his body since then to grow even stronger.
Skills: Tai is fully trained in martial arts and his body is in peak physical condition.
Magic Abilities: Tai was taught to draw the runic signs of fire and ice. His left glove and shoe are marked with the run of fire, and the right ice, allowing him to burn or freeze whoever he punches or kicks as he wills it.
Weaknesses: His code of honor won't allow to fight a foe if they cannot defend themselves, and so long as one fights honorably they can take advantage of that.
