Vinitia looks at him saddly "Oh...Caedmon..."
Caedmon sighs "Please don't give me that look, it makes it worse."
"What's left of you Caedmon?" Rowan asks
"Not much. What's left of my soul allows me to feel...sorrow. But that's it. I fake everything else. I left Sonya because I didn't want to doom her to me." Caedmon says.

"I'M not of this world." Svendal rolls his eyes. "Unless you can find the Plane of the Seventh Circle outside...the town of Dryden or something and no one's told me." Svendal sighs. "I'll ask my brothers for help, I don't care what you're going to say, I'm doing it as a favor for Vinitia and...because I feel like an ass. Besides, I hate soul stealers. They make people like me look bad."

Caedmon sighs "No, I quite literally mean he is from another world, as in dimension, reality." he looks at the spot where the memory had played out "I'm afraid finding him is a hopeless effort...and besides...I can't blame him for dealing with souls, as I have done a similar thing myself."
"Still, a guy like that needs to be punished." Llyr says
"Again, I have done such things so..." Caedmon sighs.
"Why didn't you tell me Caedmon?" Vinitia asks "I could have helped you...Gamuldar would have too. We still will. We'll use magic to rebuild what was taken."
"You know it doesn't work like-"
"Well we'll find a way to make it work." Vinitia says firmly.
"I already have a plan." Caedmon says

"And if this one has reformed too?" Francisco says.
"Then he'd give it to me. If he doesn't I'll unleash Hell as that means he hasn't reformed." Svendal says. "Win/Win." Svendal then turns his head...and only his head around to face Caedmon. "I've done some reality hopping myself. One time this lunatic alchemist summoned both me and some guy with six arms dressed in red to some weird little realm." Svendal points and they see a man with glasses yelling at him and this towering man in red for wrecking his home in one image. It's doable given time and resources."

"I doubt you could get him. I managed to learn that he is goverened by different rules than us. His power..the only thing holding him back from being a god are his rules...he must play games to use them. He won't be coming back, and there are bigger things we must deal with here." "I own the soul of a human boy...I had my subordinate Gaz form a contract with him as well. I then traded that contract to a man named Theogorn to settle a debt. You see, Theogorn remains immortal, by taking over other people, making them become a part of him. Theogron will merge with this boy, but I still own his soul." Caedmon says
Vinitia looked confused "Caedmon, I don't understand..."
"I've told Sonya that the boy can overpower Theogorn if he tries. So, I know he will and I'm gambling that he can. If he can take over Theogorn, then his body will be suited for greater power." Caedmon says
"Caedmon...you don't plan on taking over this boy yourself do you?" Rowan asks
"No...no I'm going to give what's left of me to him. It won't be conventional immortality, but passing on my concious to another is better than this." Caedmon says.

"No. I'm not doing that to them. I'm a cold and depressing man. As soon as Sonya knows what happened, she will pitty me and I can't stand that." Caedmon says

"She deserves the truth." Logos says as he stands up. "That's why I came in...to show the story I couldn't tell, even though I was afraid of seeing it again. Because you deserve to know." he turns around and looks right at Caedmon. "Don't be selfish. Let them know. Enjoy your final days as you. Let them enjoy them with you. to do any less is beneath you. If you have committed sins against them, then redeem yourself. Don't run away in death. Say goodbye, for not many get lucky enough to have the chance...." He says as the tears still roll down his face.

Caedmon stares at Logos a moment "If I could envy anymore, I would you Logos. Because you clearly can feel such things still. I'd like to be able to enjoy their presence, but I'm simply unable to do that anymore. And I don't want to have to fake that."
