"Well by freeing him you'd have had a player with no quibbles like you out there actively fighting Vadris, on who would be capable of rallying a massive amount of the resistance against him AAAAAAND all these problems resulting from Vadris' free reign wouldn't be happening and you wouldn't look like a schmuck now with the BS going on because he has no real opposition." Svendal then manifests a pair of dice in his palm. "What happened to your gusto? Where's the Caedmon who'd understand risk needs to be taken sometimes to get the job done?" He then rolls the dice, which come up snake eyes...and blink as if they were staring a Caedmon, waiting for an answer.
He then reappears behind Vinitia. "There. Point made. Tag your Royal Loveliness."

Vinitia looks at Caedmon, waiting to see his reaction.
Caedmon sighs, looking unphased "Got that out of your system?"
Vinitia frowns then sighs "Fine. If you're not going to tell us, we'll force it out of you. Get up." she says and grabs him by the ear. she forces him to get up "Come along everyone, we're going to the library." she says and pulls Caedmon, forcing him to come.
"Ow...Vinitia this is ridiculous, let go of me." Caedmon grumbles
"No. You're being ridiculous. There's clearly something wrong, something clearly happened to you that you refuse to tell anyone about so we'll let the library tell us." she says. "Everyone, a word of warning, this library is one of the most magic concentrated areas in the world. We won't be going deep into it, but the level we'll be on tends to leak strong memories." she says to everything else.
Caedmon knew the only way to break loose would be to push Vinitia off and that was more dangerous than blatently insulting Ildor, Vadris and Gamuldar all at the same time.

"Oh you might just see this on replay in there." Svendal says.
Logos looked hesitant.

"Anyone who has strong memories they do not want to possibly be seen, can wait outside if they wish." Vinitia says, leading them down a hallway to a pair of average sized, somewhat ornate doors.
Hyoma thinks on that a moment and considers not going in.

Logos snarls. "I will not be held by fear." He says as he chooses to go inside.

Vinitia smiles "Alright, then let's go."
Rowan opens the doors for them.
"Thank you sweetheart." Vinitia smiles and drags Caedmon in. The library was massive; clearly made larger through some magic because there were rows of books and other such things as far as they could see.
Hyoma enters as well, figuring if a giant cat could do it, so could he. Not his most politically correct thought, but it motivated him all the same.
"Now as I said, memories will likely begin to show once we start going in. They may seem real, but trust they are not. Not all will be bad, some will be good. But still, be cautious. We won't go too far in or we could get lost." Vinitia says
"Didn't Brann get trapped in here for a few months once?" Rowan asks
"Yes, he did."

Bernadette takes Francisco's hand as they walk.
"Point of no return kitty. Once you're in, you're in." Svendal tells Logos.

"Will you let go now?" Caedmon sighs.
"Fine, but if you try to leave I'll do it again." Vinitia says and starts in.
Rowan looks around as they pass some of the rows. he chuckles a bit "Happening already..." he says, seeing that some of the rows had people looking at the books down them. In one row he saw his wife, and another his father. he looks away with a smile "You could go mad in this place."
"Many have." Caedmon sighs.
Llyr was excited. this was his chance to learn a bit about himself, a perfect venue to have the truth revealed, or at least a bit of it.

"Ahhh...good times." Svendal says as he watches a battle from the past. A large yet lithe looking demonic warrior was cutting down a mass of demonic warriors, coated in blood.
"What are we looking at?" Logos asks.
"That's what we call divorce back home. Never liked my in laws. didn't ally like my wife but marrying her was both a necessary evil and..it had perks. Almost regret chopping her in half." He shrugs. "Ah well, it was her or me anyway."

"None of my breakups were so violent." Vinitia says.
"That's because none of them could bring themselves to it." Rowan smiles.
Hyoma glances to the side at a scene from his own mind, of when he had told Drystan that his wife had just given birth to their first son. the scene fades out into him training the same son, then that sone getting his tatoos, then that son training a young Airou. Up until that point he was smiling, happy that he could see his son clearly. The memories then take a bad turn, transfering to his son volunteering to go across.
"Lord Hyoma..." a voice says behind him causing him to turn and stop. He recognized the man, a distant cousin of his wife. "Sir, the search party for the Prince has returned."
Vinitia frowns "Come along Hyoma, just look away."
"No my Lord...they did not find him. They were forced to return, they were ill prepared for what met them...they were attacked by, some sort of animal...they are all very shaken and few can describe it..."
"Hyoma."
"Um...Lord Hyoma....I...Sir, your son...he did not survive the attack. I'm sorry." the messanger says and fades out.

Logos growls and looks away, trying not to think sympathetically.
"Daddy?"
"I...I'm right here Caoul."
"No." Logos looks up. "Stop it."
It was the scene of a massacre. Logos was there, an arrow in his back, covered in wounds, he was cradling a young boy.
"I...I wasn't scared Daddy...I...I attacked the men...I did my best to...to protect Mommy."
"Make it stop. Someone...please...don't let me see it." logos covers his eyes.
"I know my boy, I know. I am proud of you...my little warrior."
"Daddy...I don't want...to die. Don't...let me...go..." The boys hands fall limb and in unison the Logos from the image and reality let out a pained roar.
"That was about 3 years ago. I came to you about 12. See the fruits of neutrality. You may look down on some people from on high Caedmon, but at last they act. You, for all your potential just sit on your ass, warming that cushy little seat of your chair while that happens. How is it that a fool like me can do so much better than you when you can so much better than I if you only try?" Svendal says.

"I see, because I try to be responsible with my power and don't do with it what you want, I am responsible for these things." Caedmon says with slight sarcasm.
"That isn't what he meant Caedmon and ou know it. Now you are intentionally being an ass." Vinitia says "Why are you being so heartless Caedmon? I know you are better than this. Your a compassionate person, you were naturally different from other demons. So what happened?"

"Did Sonya break your little heart? It happened when you ditched her, something had to have. I mean the old you would have wished you could have been there, or at last shed a tear for a poor father's plight." Svendal says.
Logos was on his hands, trembling. "My boy...I'm so sorry."
"Tell me, did your conscience die? Do you not felt he weight of thinking 'Maybe if i did get involved things would be different?' like me."
"Calm yourself, you can't go running off like that."
"She was here...my Lily. She was here and we were too late."
It was a scene from Svndal's past. He was holding Aikia, consoling her.
"Forgive us. If I spotted that trap sooner Vadris wouldn't have succeeded in stalling us." Rondar says.
"I was busy at the time. It would be two weeks before they found Logos." Svendal says. "I had decided to break off and try to find ways of hurting Vadris chances of winning."

Caedmon looks at Logos and sighs a little.
the room fills with black mist. "Come on, you know you want to." a man's voice says. sitting at a table was Caedmon, and a man beind him, wearing dark clothes and a hat that masked his face.
"No, it's really a bad habit. I'm trying to cut back." he says
"And then what? You'll go crawling to Gamuldar, again? My you boys certainly depend on him quite a bit now that Vinitia has no power. You know you'd much rather try your luck with me."
"...Fine. Name your game." Caedmon sighs
"Dice. You roll, if you get an even number, I'll make it so the girl won't die until you do. You won't have to worry about her short human life anymore. But if you roll odd...I'll take part of your soul." the man says, presenting him with dice.
Caedmon nods and takes the dice. he rolls, then looks at the result with shock.
"Ohhh, tough luck friend. For you anyways. I on the otherhand have to go show off the newest piece of my collection to my apprentice." the man says. he holds out a hand to Caedmon and pulls a green light from his chest. he puts it in a jar, which he places in his coat next to several others. "Even this fragment of you is powerful...Damn, I shold have taken the whole thing." the man says. the mist fades along with the two men.

"What a scoundrel. Give me this churl's name and location forthwith and i will cleave him in twain." Francisco says.
"You couldn't take a guy like that. I however could." Svendal says. "I feel bad for saying all that stuff now. Free shot, you earned it. Just not in my man parts. That's just bad business."
