Name: Sefrin Fars
Age: 35
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Appearance: Sefrin is of average height, still falling short in front of many others. His build is slightly above average, but only that of a man who has worked hard in his life. His face is world weary and tired. His eye is a dull grey-blue color. His Hair is a dull silver color. Spikey it is held up in place all around his head by a brown leather headband. Part of the headband covers his right eye as a pseudo-eye patch. He wears a simply white undershirt, and a brown vest. He wears darker brown pants and large black boots. Over all of this he wears a large black cloak. It is sturdy and is well worn from travels. The tails are quite torn. He has the occasional scar on his arms and torso, but these are not seen too often because of everything he wears.
Personality: Sefrin and be quite fun and silly when he is a good mood. He is friendly and quite social and can often be a bit of a goof. However his mood is very alterable and he can change in an instant. He can be dead serious and dark when interacting with certain people. He can be determined and brave. He seems to hold many secrets and will occasionally make vague remarks, hinting at a dark past.
Likes: People, relaxation, the occasional adventure
Dislikes: People who flaunt power, killers, cold temperatures, and turnips
Hobbies: Playing jokes on people, juggling, stealing
Fears: Prisons.
History: Sefrin is a Human from Ferrin. Most of his childhood was spent in the back streets of the capitol. It was there that he made some less than reputable friends and eventually got into crime. He began to steal from some small shops before slowly getting into heavier and heavier crimes. Eventually he became a prolific thief that stole from some of the wealthiest nobles from all around the world. Sefrin himself claims he has stolen a piece of art from each country in the world. He became the bane of law enforcement all around, earning the name “The Steel Chain” because at every crime scene he left a steel chain as a calling card. Eventually the bounty on his head reached a massive 750,000. To this, Sefrin says only one thing: “Damn…I was shooting for 1 million…” Eventually Sefrin retired, and through some connections in the underworld his bounty somehow vanished. He now lives a peaceful life, although occasionally a challenge presents itself and he must take a quick break in his retirement. Not much else is known about him besides this.
Abilities: Sefrin is not a very accomplished mage. His only skills in magic are those suited for theft, such as invisibility, and slight sound control (to muffle footsteps). He can also control some aspect of light and darkness to cover him, and avoid detection. His only other skill is that in knife throwing. In his cloak he stores an unprecedented amount of knives. Most of these have chains attached to the handle. These allow him to control the flow of the knives better. It also allows him to stab things and reel them back toward him. It is not known if he keeps these extremely long lengths of chain in his cloak, or if it is some sort of magic to make them appear.
Paraphernalia: Not much is stored on his person besides his odd amount of knives and chains that he keeps hidden in his cloak sleeves. Other than that he has a simple water-skin, and a small pouch that stores some small food and spices.
Weaknesses: He is tired and his age might be getting to him. He has not had too much combat experience. The only experience he has is when he would occasionally get into fights in his rough line of work. He knows little offensive magic, and prefers to be deceptive and sneaky instead of a head on confrontation. He will also not fight certain people under certain circumstances. Also Sefrin has a complete aversion to killing, and under no circumstance will kill.
Name: Shiven Ravefell
Age: 42
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Appearance: A lanky pale fellow, Shiven does not have much of a build to him. When his figure is not hidden under the robes he wears, his frame is frail and he generally looks sick and weak. His body is almost to the point of skeleton-y. His face is long and drawn. Deep bags under his coal black eyes suggest little sleep. His hair is messy black shag, not combed in ages. Speckled in are flecks of gray, showing his age. He is unshaven with a slight black beard and mustache. He wears an unassuming grey robe, complete with hood.
Personality: Not showing much of his true feelings, Shiven tends to keep to himself. He is quiet, and almost lonely looking. He shies away from contact and doesn’t like getting to know people. He will fight if necessary but doesn’t seem to have any sort of a drive. He is mysterious and cryptic at times, sometimes saying things that are just odd.
Likes: Solitude, Darkness, Reading
Dislikes: Noisy people, Bright Lights, Intimacy
Hobbies: Reading, Writing, Alchemy
Fears: Much is unknown of his fears, but he seems to fear death.
History: Shiven is a human summoner from Plarya. Much of his past is unknown. All that is known of him is that he is a necromancer and is constantly trying to find out as much as he can learn about Magic, Alchemy, and Ancient Powers. He currently employs Necromancy as his form of defense.
Abilities: Shiven is a summoner, who specializes in Necromancy. He has a few different summons that he uses often enough to merit more specific information.
Necromancy Art: Zombie: Shiven can summon a large amount of zombies, up to about 10. They have no skills or weapons, and are slow. Their only forms of attack are to punch, kick, and bite foes. They are easily destroyed by physical attacks, and magic. (Note: They cannot ‘zombify’ people)
Necromancy Art: Skeleton: Shiven can summon a few Skeleton like creatures. These Skeletons can wield certain types of weapons. These include swords, spears, bow and arrows, and even axes. Shiven can only summon a few of these at a time, about 3 or 4. The Skeletons are much more coordinated, and can move much faster than zombies. Their weapons make them much more dangerous, and they can also think and employ better strategy than their zombie counterparts. They are still quite easy to destroy, by both physical and magic attacks, however they have less mass than zombies, so certain attacks may have a harder time hitting just a skeleton.
Summoning Art: Ogre: One of his larger summons, Shiven can summon one large Ogre. This Ogre stands around 15 feet, and wields a large club. This summon is extremely powerful, capable of severely injuring or killing many people. He is also quite hard to injure as physical attacks do very little, and magic does only a little better. The ogre does not employ much strategy, and only really thrashes about.
Necromancy Art: Undead Dragon: One of his most impressive summons, Shiven has the ability to summon a large undead dragon. This Dragon is partially Skeleton like, and partially zombified. The dragon has the ability to fly, and breathe a corrosive, noxious fume from its mouth. The dragon is incredibly strong, agile, and deadly. It is hard to damage with physical or magic attacks.
He will have others summons, but I’ll need to think for a while, or wait for inspiration to hit me.
Paraphernalia: Shiven carries with him a knapsack with various items. These include a few old tomes on Necromancy and Alchemy, some basic food stuffs, water, many plant ingredients, a mortar and pestle, and some other beakers and tubes for alchemy.
Weaknesses: Shiven is quite frail and can’t fight much on his own. He is not able to take physical and magic attacks well, and instead uses his summons as his only form of defense, along with his only form of attack.
Name: Ark Syvyys
Age: 18
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Appearance: A younger man, Ark is in good shape, not too muscular but not too skinny. His face shows his inexperience, as do his eyes. His eyes are a light blue color. His hair is medium length, is perfectly messy, and is a dirty blonde color. He wears a white undershirt and a black jacket over it. He wears average black pants and black shoes. Around his neck is a red scarf.
Personality: Fun loving, good natured, and friendly. Ark is an all-around fun person to be around. He very takes anything too seriously and finds fun wherever he goes. He is kind to people and stands up for what he thinks is right. He will always try to make friends before enemies and is a sociable person.
Likes: Hanging out with friends, playing pranks, fighting for fun
Dislikes: Vegetables, serious topics
Hobbies: Training, just having fun
Fears: Death
History: Ark is an oddity. He doesn’t talk much about his past, telling different stories every time he is asked. If you believe his tales then he has been to almost every nation, and has acquaintances in every one. He has an odd power and will not reveal where, or how he came about his power. He finds joy in faces stronger foes, and also finds it in befriending these foes later on.
Abilities: Ark has the power to “draw out” weapons and powers from the foe he faces. By looking at his opponent, Ark can manifest a weapon in his hand that represents the foe. Some may argue that their weapon is not like them, but Ark claims it is partly his interpretation that affects the formation of a weapon. Besides the weapon, Ark also gains the skills to use it, and also some magic abilities similar to what his opponent uses. He can only use one of these weapons at a time, and must forfeit one before he can manifest another.
Paraphernalia: Besides some basics like water and food, Ark doesn’t carry much on him.
Weaknesses: If Ark can’t manifest a weapon he is powerless. When these weapons are manifested he must learn them quickly. Also the magic he gains with the weapon are usually just a weaker version of his opponent’s abilities. He can only manifest and use one power at a time as well, so against multiple opponents he can only use the weapon and powers from one, or must switch back and forth quickly.
Maybe more to come later.
