Alright chums, let's do this.
Name: Odysseus
Race: Human
Age: 45
Homeland: Ferrin, although he serves the League with Neutrality.
Description: A well muscled man, obviously from years of fighting and working the land. He has short, black facial hair with medium lenght black hair, giving him a rugged look. His armor is what one would classify as "medium" armor, bearing the signs of obvious use and wear, although it something tells onlookers that it's still just as strong as the day it was made. His armor pauldrons and breastplate are iron while his thigh and shin guards are bronze. Leather surrounds the joints for easier movement while his boots are standard combat issue. He has a round shield with a diameter as long as 3/4 of his left arm fully stretched out with a gladius to compliment it in a sheath on his left side.
History: Odysseus, contrary to what most believe, is not the founder of society, nor is he some great and mighty hero. He didn't get Odyssia named after him, nor did he even help in discovering anything. No, the reason Odysseus is a champion in the League is because he was the first to volunteer.
Not two days after the League opened up, Odysseus came to it's remote location and requested to be admitted as a champion. Of course, the summoners there we baffled that someone would so quickly offer themselves up, especially one so plain and ordinary looking. However, after testing him, they found he could more than handle the strain of fighting for the good of Odyssia and accepted him.
Odysseus wields little magic and out of all the champions in the League currently, he is probably the most plain. Relying on his strength, wits, and instinct, Odysseus has proven repeatedly that one does not need powerful magic to be a formidable opponent on the battlefield.
Personality: Odysseus is practical. He gets the job down in the most efficient way possible. He's a little stubborn, but he's also cunning, which has gotten him out of more than one bad situation. He doesn't take crap from people who don't respect others, especially then new recruits to the league that aren't even a quarter of a century old yet. Don't think he isn't willing to get advice though. Mentoring others on his experiences is one of his favorite past times.
Fears: His home being destroyed by war, not having a good mug of bear to chug down after a hard days work.
Likes: Winning a fight, a hard day's work being completed, showing young people how it's done.
Strengths/Abilities: Odysseus is a skilled strategist and cunning warrior. He has no real magical abilities, relying mainly on his own physical strength and skill to win himself fights. He isn't stupid though. One of his key secrets to winning fights against those with powerful abilities is the fact that his shield can reflect magical attacks and that his armor reduces the effects of magical spells cast on or at him.
Weaknesses: Odysseus has no magical abilities. Without his shield to block direct magic attacks, he's basically at the mercy of most magic. His armor helps him against debilitating abilities and other such spells, but it helps less against direct damage. Also, he isn't really that fast so speedier opponents prove a challenge.
Name: Barthandelus
Race: Zeuterrian - Asura
Age: 67
Homeland: Terrazeuter, supports Terrazeuter.
Description: Barthandelus is strong for his age and shows no sign of slowing down. He wears a vest with specialized wholes for all of his arms that bears stylized markings along the edges to represent his home. He has violet-orange eyes and his white hair is tied in a ponytail that goes down the back of his neck and pulls all the hair towards the center of his head with it. His legs are covered in a similar fabric to his vest, although both are armored with what looks to be some sort of padding. Fingerless gloves cover each of his hands with small, round nubs at the knuckles.
History: Barthandelus was the leader of the guerilla Zeuterrians that fought against Genagis during it's occupation of Terrazeuter. He led his people to fight against the opposing empire at the bequest of the Aether elders, who saw in him the strength needed to save his people. It was not an easy campaign, with their supplies low and the Genagis weaponry and magic too powerful to confront head on. Still, in the end, they were able to reclaim their home.
When the league was formed, Barthandelus approached the Aether elders and request that he be sent to serve as Terrazeuter's champion. They agreed, but only on the condition that he could find a Shiva of his people that would agree to serve with him, for his race must be represented by both sides. And to this he agreed.
For 3 years he searched to find a Shiva he found worthy of serving with him. Throughout that time he talked to and tested many, often telling of his exploits to a close friend of his from his time as a whelp. She had been with him through the occupation, gone to fight were he could not, and had always been a trusted confident and loyal ally. Still, it wasn't until she confronted him and literally said, "Why do you not ask me to join you?" that he realized the warrior he was looking for was in front of his eyes the entire time.
It was during those three years that he also discovered what is called the greatest wonder of his race. An enormous larval Zeuterrian that apparently had some sort of genetic restriction that prevent it from progressing to the next phase of it's life cycle. Already practically the size of a horse, Barthandelus was able to "tame" it in a way and make it his own. Naming it "Gigantos", he uses it as an ally in the Arena and searches for a way to help it progess on to the next phase, for surely Gigantos will be one of the greatest Zeuterrian to ever grace this world.
Personality: Barthandelus is strong willed and determined. Although he's not the most observant and has a hard time thinking outside the box, he is excellent at hunting his foes and pounding opponents into submission. He respects those he faces in the League and holds onto the traditions of his race, valuing honor over a cheap victory. Time during the war against Genagis has however taught him that charging head on at your enemy is not the best strategy.
Fears: Failing in his duty, succumbing to temptation, something terrible happening to Gigantos.
Likes: Winning, riding on Gigantos, fighting with Aerora, training.
Strengths/Abilities: Barthandelus is ridiculously strong. He hits hard and he can hit fast with his six arms. He rides upon Gigantos and uses him in combat. Gigantos is a powerful foe itself, with such an enormous size and strength, not to mention powerful corrosive saliva.
Weaknesses: Unlike Odysseus, he has no extra items to defend against magic, making him much more susceptible to such attacks. Also, ranged attackers can probably put a hurt on if he can't get within melee range.
