"Precisely. You were ok with it when I found him." Ophiuchus says "Antonio knows not to leave his assigned quarters, and we can lock them in as well if you need further security."
Antonio just sits with Marielle. Many of the outside voices were familiar. he had a foggy memory of them from when Ophiuchus operated on him.

Adris looks out the train window as he and Darien headed to the captial with Danielle. He was starting to realize everything that had happened to him in a matter of hours, and was happy he had a place to think about it.

Adris says "The memories I took in...the betrayal, now I'm going to be made a noble and I'm getting married..." he rests his head on the window "I'm glad I've got this time to take it in." he sighs and looks at the tracks passing below "They think he was such a great guy...but he was a shitty father..." Adris says "He barely even talked to me after my mother was killed...just a pat on the shoulder at her funeral." he laughs with disbelief and shakes his head "I guess I know why now.....I'm sorry I shouldn't bother you with that..."

Adris nods. he was silent a moment "My mom pretty much raised me on her own...he was always gone. And you know...I was ok with it because it was for Arcadis. I was proud of it even..." he shakes his head "And my mother...You'll never see a happier woman...she was so proud that her husband was out there, fighting for Arcadis, a General. She was lonely...but lived with it because..." he cleanches a fist. "I think that's what made me snap...he betrayed her trust her love. My mother was the loyalist. She's where I get it from. And she lived a lonely life because she thought...it was worth it." he sighs "She died...thinking the only reason he didn't save her was that he was serving Arcadis...But he just didn't come...I looked into it a couple years ago, and from where he was he could have made it. But I didn't question it." he sighs and shakes his head "That son of a bitch..."

After the broadcast plays in full Darien lets out an annoyed breath. "God damn you ELRIC." He says as he grabs the radio and crushes it with his cybernetic hand. "You made it impossible to turn back. You did...leave me behind." He says as he picks some pieces of it out of the joints of his hand.

"I think someone doing what was done to my parents would snap him out of it." Darien says. "The Queen...I doubt she's of any us to the Emperor now that Elric has gone rogue, except if he retakes her as a hostage. But if she were killed...by non Arcadisian hands at that..."
