personality: He is very warm to those he holds dear to him, especially his wife and daughter. He does have a reputation of being a strict general though, and though he can joke with his men, they know that when it comes down to it he won’t let them slack off. He is hardest on his son Airou, for reasons many assume are just that he expects more from him. His relationship with his remaining son is a complex one. They seem close, and everyone has the idea that they are. However when they are near each other, they act in a way that can only be described as more professional, rather than a father and son.
bio: He is the father of Lakyri and Airou, as well as the current head of the Skycrest family. He is sort of like Drystan’s Osiron, as the two are very close and have been long time friends. He took the loss of his oldest son very hard, and many think it is a wonder he didn’t go mad from the loss. He was always very proud of him, and thought he would be a great leader one day. Before his death, he wasn’t very hard on Airou, but after he seemed to up his expectations exponentially. It was at that point that their relationship became what it is. As head of the family, he is one of few who knows some of the family’s most hidden secrets and techniques.

bio: He is a member of a rather well known noble family of Itianur. His great-grandfather was a war hero, and that is where his family’s renown is rooted. He himself is known from being much like his ancestor, and is constantly compared to him by his family. This drives him crazy. Very few people know his opinions on slavery, and the few who do, have no idea why he is so opposed to it.
Another thing, that people only have heard rumors about him, is that he has an alternate ego that comes out when he uses a certain spell. He gained this ego, by bonding with a spirit in order to gain its powers. The name of the spirit was Cidius, so he gave his alter ego that name, as he feels he becomes a different person when he transforms. He has issues with Cidius’ memories slipping into his mind at times, as he just made this bond within the past couple years.
powers: he fights with dark magic, in particular, he can transform into a more powerful state. His magic power and strength increases when he does this, but he has less self control. (sort of a Dr. Jeckle Mr. Hyde thing)

bio: Another of the several children of Vinitia. his father was a genie, and the only significance of that is every ten years he gets a birthday wish. He has thus far stayed out of the ‘squabbling’ between his brothers Vito and Loruel, and has been kicking it back, living a luxurious life in the desert. He owns a business that sells luxury items; fancy cloth, jewels, precious metals, art. And he has done very well, so well in fact, many feel that he rules the desert he lives in, not Ildor, because of the hold he has on the entire area’s economy, which is a large portion of the country itself’s economy. Though he has seemingly isolated himself from most of his family, he does keep touch with one of his older siblings, who seems to be able to get him to do anything. He is almost always seen with a long pipe, smoking something that normally produces smoke with vivid colors.
powers’n stuff: the cobra shown in the picture, is actually a part of him. he can send it out to spy on people and all that jazz. It is venomous. He also sports a shroud that can protect its wearer from anything. he never goes anywhere without it. aside from that he doesn’t really do much for aggressive magic and much prefers using it for fun and practical reasons, one being manipulating smoke.

Along with her confidence comes a bit of a flirty nature, and she isn’t afraid to use her assets to distract men, and get what she wants from them. She is incredibly loyal to her foster father, and would do anything for him.
bio: She is from a country, very far off from Cathitias and Itianur, which is evident when she speaks, as she has an accent (sort of Russian sounding for the record). When she was very young, she was orphaned in a massive forest fire. She managed to survive by taking shelter under some fallen rocks. She was found the following morning in the ashes by Rowan, who then took her in. She was raised and trained in combat and magic by him, as well as several languages. She has served as his travel companion, and second daughter over the years.
powers: she can release powerful magic slashes from her claws, her most common magic, but is also skilled in other, darker things. she has excellent endurance and agility that would make some barilli jealous.

She has always served as a balance to him, sometimes the more mature of the two. She will scold him if she thinks it necessary and is one of the few willing to. She sometimes will go on ‘errands’ for him, utilizing her skills in disguises and spy work.

It was a hard endeavor, and though they did make it, they were on the run for some time, and were all separated. She almost didn’t make it by herself. She knew little on survival and at the time couldn’t fight. She was found by a juvenile dragon, who she decided to call Vurav. Vurav brought her food and helped her survive and they have been together ever since, living in a small abandon fort that Vurav had claimed as his. There she found a poleax an armor and developed her own style of fighting with it. She used her sewing skills to modify a horse saddle so she could ride Vurav. She jokes that she is Vurav’s human, and not he her dragon. She does not talk about her life as a slave, and hasn’t told anyone who her old masters where. The most she has said, is that if she said anything about them you would know instantly who they were. She seems to go out of her way to keep it a secret as she even covers the spot on her upper right shoulder where she has a brand marking who she belonged to.

He is lonely, as he thinks he is the last of his kind, and he has a fear of losing those he is close to. this fear has made him someone who obsesses over the well being of his friends, and he will get angry when they won’t let him baby them. He is very stubborn, so when he does get mad or upset, it takes a lot to get him to a happy level again. He is very hesitant about demons, and only trusts Vinitia, and a few of her sons.
bio: He was only a baby when the animus were wiped out by the demons. He only managed to survive because Vinitia saved him. He was raised by her until he was able to take care of himself a bit, and then was passed off between her allies to keep him safe from those who might want to kill him. He is currently living with Shasim, and has been for some time. He has been a bit of an equalizer to him, closely monitoring his carefree lifestyle. He does sneak out on occasion, and on one trip he met Taisil, and they became good friends. He relies on her to tell him what is going on in the world, and to give him a ride out from time to time.

As well, if he is threatened, he can cover himself in his cape and it will create a protective dome around him, the feathers of it will stick out (like an angry hedgehog ^^) and turn sharp and stiff.
