personality: he can be very brash at times, and gets frustrated easily. He’s loyal to Caedmon but wonders why sometimes, as he will argue with him a lot. He is often annoyed by his mentor’s habit of not saying what side he is on in certain arguments.

bio: he is Caedmon’s apprentice. He is young for a demon, that much can be seen by looking at him, but he has little knowledge of why or how he got to be with Caedmon. He has been with him all his life, and was raised by him. Despite this he views him as a teacher, not a father, and even opposes him sometimes, because he doesn’t understand why he needs to listen to him. Regardless of all his problems with Caedmon, he ultimately listens to him, even if he interprets his orders wrong.

powers: he can teleport via portals, and can speak to crows. he knows some of the spells Caedmon knows, as well as some of his own that involve manipulating the things around him.
(ex: he can't make fire with magic, but if he's got a torch, he can maipulate that fire.)

personality: he is loyal and determined to make a name for himself and redeem his bloodline. he will do about anything to make his workmates like him, even if it is in a ‘we can make fun of and beat on him’ sort of way.

bio: His father was a demon, his mother his human slave. His father was killed rather shamefully, and his mother stayed alive by whoring herself out to his killers. He constantly lives with the shame of his parents, and takes much abuse from other demons. He takes it without a word though, and even agrees with some of the abuse he gets. The worst abuse he has received was a demon cut off one of his wings for fun. He now works to redeem his bloodline by serving Vadris.

powers: skilled with a sword, he is skilled in illusions and inducing hallucinations. he can curse people, his signature move basically slowly kills them in their dreams, or at least make them unable to sleep.

personality: he has a sort of mystic quality to him, which contrasts with his somewhat serious attitude. He is a fierce fighter, but is also greatly spiritual.

bio: His father was the head spiritual leader in their community, and taught him everything he knows. His community was attacked when he was young and brought into slavery, but he was able to stay with his father long enough to learn how to read the stars and other magics. They were separated when their master died and his estate sold. He wants nothing more than to find his father.

abilities: he can fight with a javelin. he can read the stars to see the future, and is also skilled at soothsaying.

personality: loyal and a true paladin, through and through. She fights to protect what is right and good.

bio: she is a paladin serving Osiron. Not much is known about her, yet he hired her regardless. She is Niodai’s new owner, having spent most of her money on him. She will not say why, but it is assumed she saw value in his abilities. She treats him well and they are friends, though it took him some time to trust her. It is rumored that she is connected to a demon in a similar way to Desmond, because she has survived thing that a mortal should not survive.

abilities: she is a paladin, and is skilled in light magics. she also is resilient, having some sort of magical shield around her.

personality: cold and resentful of the current nobility. He hates them for the injustice to not only his people, but all enslaved. he waits for an opportunity to really strike against them and escape.

bio: he is one of Osiron’s other slaves, though he is not as well treated as Cazo. He is rebellious and constantly fights back, the result, he has been beaten many times. He schemes to escape, and hates Cazo, considering him a sellout. He has a habit of instigating rebellious behavior in other slaves as well.

abilities: he has a rather brutal way of fighting, using his sword like a club.

personality: she is willing to be obedient if it keeps her from being hurt. She almost seems sad at what circumstance of life has forced on her.

bio: He parents were poor humans who live in a village near the center of the kingdom. They were so poor and in debt, in order to absolve them of all debts, she was taken from them and put into slavery. She was brought to Melgath so he could sell her in auction. Now she awaits to be purchased. She finds it all unfortunate because although she is now a slave, her life will likely be better than it ever has been.

abilities: she has several domestic skills, is a good swimmer and has good aim.

personality: She takes her missions and duty very seriously, but that is about all she takes seriously. She is laid back and calm most of the time, something she trains hard to maintain.

bio: Another more distant cousin of Airou and Lakyri. She is a member of the Queen’s personal guard, and a royal assassin, though her skills are often only needed to stop rabid animals. She serves the crown loyally and would gladly risk her life for them. She helped train Lakyri in stealth.

abilities: she is an assassin, and can move without making a single noise. she fights with throwing knives and can hurl an arrow accurately from so far away one would think it was the work of a crossbow.

personality: He is a caring man with a love for his people that is unquestionable. The loss of his son has made him over cautious of his daughter and wife, constantly fearing for their safety. Though he carries on for his people, it is clear that Rhis’ disappearance took a great toll on him.

bio: He is the King of Cathitias, and father of Vanora. He believes he is also the Father of Rhisiart. He is a beloved ruler, and a wise one. He was the one who ordered the closing off of access to the crack after Gregor vanished.

abilities: aside from being a wise an and good tactician, he is skilled with a lance

personality: gentle and kind, she is very beloved. She stands by her husband through all he has been through, and has served as a shoulder for him to cry on in return for him being one for her. She loves her husband greatly, and feels guilt every day for betraying him by sleeping with Osiron, who though she does not truly love, she cares for.

bio: Queen of Cathitias, and mother of both Vanora and Rhisiart. Before her children’s birth she was thought to have been kidnapped and brought over to the other side by her panicked captors. In reality she went there of her own will, to visit an old friend and relative. She is originally from the other side of the wall, but for unknown reasons now lives in Cathitias. A nobleman and his wife had taken her in, and raised her as their own.

abilities: she is good with words, and appears to have no magical ability.
