Not a sentence you'd expect to hear eh? Allow me to elaborate.
Everyone is familiar with Thundercats correct? They made a remake of it and tonight was the premiere. I loved it.
Now, I had seen parts of the original as a kid, but only bits and pieces of reruns, regardless, it was a beloved part of my childhood, so when I heard of this remake I was both worried and excited.
Aura and I spent the last hour watching it. and it was, amazing. The plot was changed just enough to be unique, but not so much that it muffed it all up. that animation was great, (the style was a bit like Naruto) the atmosphere of the scenes very successfully portrayed the mood the animators wanted you to feel. the characters were redesigned in a way I personally thought was refreshing.
I was so inspired, you should all expect either a great pic or plot twist to come up. I had to write a little review. If you knew about this, and had your doubts, look for reruns of it on Cartoon Network because it's worth it. episodes will be on on Fridays at 8 eastern- 7 central.
