Alright, I'm going to through up some "sample" bio templates in here for when you make characters.
Basically, you can make as a character:
Human
Reploid
Maverick
Psuedoroid
Biometal
And here's how you do the bios for them:
Human/Reploid
Name- Sample Human
Race- Human
Age- 5 minutes
Appearance- Is comprised entirely of words that I type
Bonded with Biometal- This section is actually optional. If they have a biometal, you can probably just say it in the bio.
Bio- Created to be an example for the rest of you, Sample is here to not exist
Paraphernalia- Since I looked at the overwhelming success of Dynamax's Fates universe, I decided I'd throw in this section here. Basically, most people in the "ZX" universe have these body suits and stuff, but I'm not gonna require those since I've always thought they were unoriginal and generic.
(If they have a biometal) Attacks and abilities while transformed- From energy blasts to double jumps, this is what your guy can do while Megamerged. I'll set limits in another section, but here is where you put these abilities.
Paraphernalia can consist of mementos, accessories, etc. Megaman ZX takes place around...oh...I'd say...probably 2500 AD, so some futuristic stuff is cool. For more info on possible extra stuff check here: megaman.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Mega_Man_ZX_characters
That link leads to a listing of Megaman ZX characters, so just check out some of the stuff they have for ideas.
(IMPORTANT: Don't actually use any of their pictures for your characters though! I might be using a few of them since they all aren't dead at the end of ZX Advent or MIA, so be forewarned!)
Reploid's are basically the same as humans but they are androids, so maybe you might want to through in some "robotic" stuff into their descriptions. I haven't actually seen any with claws instead of hands, but some look like old people even though they technically can't age. Also, all reploids have a pink triangle on their forehead.
Oh, and before I forget, some Humans/Reploids are part of the "Guardians", which is a force of Maverick Hunters that fly around in an air ship as their base. You can make characters that are part of them, but I wouldn't just yet since I don't plan on introducing them immediately.
Maverick
Name- All Mavericks have two or three part names. For example: Blizzard Buffalo, Metal Shark Player, Commander Yammark. Any Maverick you see who only has one name however is usually a "final boss" one, like Sigma, General, Vile, etc.
Age- Mavericks, while rogue reploids, are generally very obviously robotic, so they can be older than humans/reploids. However, by the same logic, they get hunted down and don't always live long, so up to you mostly.
Appearance- Here's some examples of Maverick appearances: megaman.wikia.com/wiki/Mavericks You'll have to scroll to the bottom to see some examples and bios of Mavericks, but it does give a good history of Mavericks if you're looking for info and ideas.
Bio- Some of your Mavericks background, why he's working for the main bad guy (Who I'll introduce) or, better yet, why he's NOT! Maybe he went Maverick because humans did something to him? Maybe he's been branded "Maverick" but is really trying to do something else? Who knows! Surprise me! Either way though, our main "good guys" will probably still end up fighting him/her
Abilities/Powers- And here's what your Maverick can do! In general, Mavericks (And as you'll see Psuedoroids) have more specialized abilities than Megamerged humans/reploids. They can range from all sorts of things, some of which even involve random objects in their "boss room" that they're fought in. Also, all Mavericks have an attack they only start using/spamming once they reach 50% health. In a related nutshell, Mavericks (and Psuedoroids) have certain "weaknesses" to attacks that let them be dodged. I'm not gonna put a major emphasis on that though, since in the games you need that stuff with Megaman being a Side Scroller. That said, if you want to through in possible ways to dodge attacks, be my guest. In general though, I know you guys will find out of the box ways to evade damage without said ways being built in -_-
Mavericks (and Psuedoroids) are the bosses of stages. So, while I don't expect it right off the bat, you might want to throw in another part of the bio that says which stage they're the boss of.
Psuedoroids
Name: Psuedoroids have one word names that usually a subphrase and a word pertaining to their speciality. For example: Hedgeshock, Protectos, Leganchor, Buckfire. Also, most Psuedoroids have a "title" that goes with them, like Flammole the Moleroid or Rospark the Floroid.
Age: Most Psuedoroids are much younger than their Maverick counterparts considering they power their powers from fragments or copies of biometals. That said, not all are like that and at one point may have been like/were Mavericks, such as Fistleo, who was upgraded to use the power of Model F. So, use your imagination here.
Appearance: here's some examples for Psuedoroid appearances: megaman.wikia.com/wiki/Pseudoroid
Backstory/Description: Who made your Psuedoroid/why he became one/motivations, you know, the usual stuff.
Powers/abilities: This is pretty much the same as with Mavericks. The thing with Psuedoroids though is that their powers are based off of biometals. As such, they may share abilities. For example, Vulturon was a Model P Psuedoroid and as such, he could hang onto walls like you can with Model P. However, since I expect you guys to make up new biometals, then I don't expect you to stay by this. Either way though, most Psuedoroids have their own unique attacks. Also, like Mavericks, Psuedoroids have "desperation" attacks they start using/spamming at 50% health.
If your character is out beating Psuedoroids to "increase" the power of his/her biometal by recovering the fragments they use to increase their powers, then you'll need to throw in a weak point to your Psuedoroid. Not all psuedoroids have a weak point, but it is a key part of fighting them, to try and find their weak point, something Mavericks don't have (You can balance that out by saying Psuedoroids are more powerful, but that's up to you). However, be warned, if you damage a psuedoroid in the weak point with the goal of getting that fragment of biometal, then you will damage the biometal and have to repair it to use its full abilities.
Biometals
Name: Biometals have names like "Model X" or "Model L". In the games, the letter stands for what "legendary hero" they are based off of. In this case, since most will be made up, the first letter can stand for something they do (Model E= Model Element), where they were found (Model S= Model Sky Lagoon), or maybe your character gave the biometal the name when they found it (Model B= Model Badass). Either way, someone who can megamerge with a biometal is called the "Model F Mega Man" or the "Model X Mega Man", so remember that when naming your biometal
Age: Can be pretty much anything, but it has to be at most 150 years since before that biometals didn't exist.
Appearance: Biometals usually look like this little face, so here's an example: megaman.wikia.com/wiki/Biometal . I can understand it might be a little hard to describe them though, so try your best in this section.
Origins: The story about your biometal. Who it was based off of (If anyone), how it was found, where it was hidden, maybe if it has fragments being used by Psuedoroids, etc.
Bound to: Who it's bound to. This section is open to change since you may have your character die and the biometal pass on to someone else, like Model Z did when Giro died and Vent/Aile got it.
And that's that pretty much. If you have other questions just post them here or PM about it.
