(OOC: ok i think im going to start posting my work schedule on here so i dont feel so ronrey when i get back on and ur all posted already)
Serenity watched the scene with kris after he passed out she walked over the Artorous and punched him in the gut, and in doing so the bark fell off of his body she then gave him a small vial of andtidote "Drink this now or you will die." she said coldly she then walked over to kris, set him on the ground.
"This is the boy merlin?" she asked
"Yes his name is Kris" merlin respoded
"Ok we will take care of this issue now, as for the rest of you" she said and pointed twards the center of the forest, a small path appeared "Follow that path, DO NOT stray from the path you will arrive at a small village My apprentice will see to you there"

Merlin serenity and out cold kris are all that remains in the small clearing.

Illyana slowly starts to smirk and chuckle. she bursts out laughing and nearly drops Kris.
Mortus laughs a little too "See, it's funny cuz...nehhh, you wouldn't get it. inside joke." he says and looks around "yo...where's Z? he go off wiht Nabiki and Kami?"
"Maybe, I heard him say he needed to talk to them." Illyana says, calming down "ooohhhh...boy...Say...isn't there suposed to be some one leading us there?"
the appearent apprentice was absent.
Erov and Raimeri exchange glances. Raimeri's one of question , and Erov's a small and short smirk of pleasure.

Zain looks around. He was in an empty clearing in the forest. alone. he walks over to a small pool of water and scans the area "...is this some sort of test?" he thinks aloud and tries to hear sounds of the group. all he can hear is the sound of the forest until slowly, the sound of deep humming fades in. Zain freezes in place, eyes wide, as he recognizes the voice humming, and the song. the trees seem to distort and swirl as the color of everything turns from green to a deep red and purple to him, as someone starts to slowly mutter the words of the song instead of humming them. he spins around and watches as a figure begins to appear through the shadows of the trees. it steps closer to him, now quietly singing his song.
"Happy Birthday dear, Zainy...Happy Birthday to you." the figure finishes as it fades completely into the form of Zain's father.
Zain stands, paralyzed with shock. "How..."
"Oh come now, you didn't think I'd let some fool forest and a batty wizard keep me from seeing my boy on his birthday. Snape is a good man and helped me acquire acess to you. You need to send him a thank you."
"W-what....what do you want?" he asks, backing up slightly.
Drakmord grabs Zain's still lightly injured arm with one hand and his head with the other. he moves his hand over Zain's head, feeling the bumps from his head injury. "Ah. No good, no good at all Zain." he says vaguely "So I hear you've had girl issues? hmm, maybe your present will help with that..."
Zain struggles lightly to get out "P-present?"
"Oh yes Zain, you didn't think I'd come without a gift did you? I think you'll like it..." he says with a smirk that Zain knew all too well as meaning something bad was going to happen. "So slow...must be due to your mother's slight human roots. Amazing how such small things can impact you."
"What are you-" Zain is cut off by his Father pumping a blast of darkess infused mind magic into him.
Drakmord releases Zain and watches as he stumbles back, grasping his head. "I'd love to stay to watch...but I have business. I'll be seeing you son." he backs away and slowly fades out "Try forgetting who you are now." he says as he fades out completely and the area around Zain returns to normal to him.
Zain falls to his knees as he feels searing pain all over his body. slowly, the green slime that had appeared since the midterms starts to ooze out of his skin. from the bumps on his head, two horns start to grow out, piercing through his skin. more scales grow on his face and the ones on his shoulder fall off and are replaced by fast growing long ones. he himself grows slightly, getting taller, and actually looking less awkward. he feels theintense pain start to fade and looks into the water at himself. he screams when he sees himself, and covers his face as more green slime starts to ooze. his voice fluctuates from its normal pitch, to a slightly lower one, to a crazy demonic one, and is so loud, even a deaf person would hear it.
from behind a tree, a girl watches, concerned and uncertain she should try to help him right away. She didn't know if the green substance the boy was emitting was safe.

"Is the potion working? The tree lady didn't hurt you too much did she?" Nerina asks, doting on Artorus.
"You take it slow Art. No pushing y'self an' giving Ms. Merces an 'eart attack now." Dale says.
"He's right. Take a few moments and we can be the Calorie while they go on ahead in case there's more trouble." Nerina says.
"Umm...Calvary Miss Merces." Malus says, feeling weird for correcting her.
"Right, thanks Alice." She says.
"What the..." Malus looked at her funny. He then perks his head up. "Wow...that's a messed up vibe. And one hell of a roar from somewhere."
"You 'eard that too now huh?" Dale says. "Umm...Milady Serentiy, if'n you can 'ear this lowly 'obgoblin...can you tell us what that bellowin' wuz comin' frum an' where a student named Zain is 'ere? If'n it's one and the same can y' 'elp us get there?"

Serentiy looked at merlin "So its one of the 3 Currpoted Runes?"
"Yes and it has taken a liking to him, i tried sealing it with no success." merlin replied
"I see, im just going to half to beat it out of him" Serenity said with no emotion
Merlin just chuckles.
Serenity walks over to chris and opens a small vial wafts the aroma under his nose and plugs it back up.
Kris instantly comes to.

"She's busy with Kris, we shouldn't push it with her. Why not ask his invisible partner where he is. Kal..." Malus says, trying to recall his name.
"Kalsifer." Dale says. "Dat's right. 'EY KAL, MIND GIVIN' US A 'AND 'ERE?"
"That's if he's around." Malus says.

Kris oened his eyes, and bared his fangs. He slid across the ground, and rolled backwards onto his feet. He rose into a low crouch,
"Who....where are my freinds!!!" he said one hand on his sword hilt, one one the ground, some electrical energy condensing on his palm.
Artorus drank the vile and sighed.
"Oh...I'm fine, a little worried about Kris, but I've been worse." He said with a smile her way.

Kalsifer hovers over Zain, watching him ooze "Errr...Zainy?"
Zain holds himself up over the water again to check if he had only been seeing things. "Ahhhhhhhhh!" he groans when he sees himself "What's going on?! I....I look like....I look like him!"
Kalsifer smiles lightly "Now...now Zain, this is natural...you've been showing signs that this was going to happen for a few days now...I guess your dad just didn't want to wait for it to happen naturally..."
"YOU KNEW THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN?!" he shouts, his voice cracking between the three ocataves. "You knew I was going to look like this?"
"Well no exactally, I just knew that you were-"
"How am I suposed to live a life without him if I LOOK JUST LIKE HIM!? What will Merlin say when he sees just how demonic I am? What about the others...Nabiki...I CAN'T FACE HER LOOKING LIKE THIS!" he slumps down to the ground "What's the point of trying to pass for human if I look like a MONSTER!"

Illyana joins the others now that Kris was in safe hands "He was with Zain last I knew. So if we don't see him, either Zain has him invisible for the trip, or theye aren't here." she says with a frown "I don't see him though...And...was it just me or did the start of the noise sound a bit like him?"

"I....no. It's my fathers, I...I...." he said backing away. He grabbed the gem and tried to pull it farther from himself, but it wouldn't budge.
"It won't go."
Leah frowned,
"Roy,....I'm worried, somethings.....wrong."

Illyana shakes her head "We didn't even see him go, and the way the sound echo's, I don't know where to start. Should we ask a teacher? Or Nabiki's uncle."

the girl watches Zain saddly. she sees some slime creep up towards her and she sticks a finger in it to test it. she wipes it on some moss, deeming it harmless. she takes off her shoes and starts towards him.
Kalsifer looks up and sees her coming "Oh?"
the girl stands behind Zain and holds her hand out near his back. they glow white and tendrils of light reach out and go into his back.
Zain jumps a bit in shock, but then relaxes. he suddenly feels at complete and total peace. slowly, he stops oozing green slime, and the slime fades away. he leans back and lies on his back with his eyes closed. he opens them and sees the silohuette of the girl.
"Better?" she asks
"..y-yes." he replies, rubbing his neck. his voice was deeper. "Who..."
She siles and offers a had to help him up "my name is Axelle. I live here with my mentor." she says.
"I...I'm Zain he says accepting the help up "I'm here with the group from A.W.E." he says.
"I saw everything..." Axelle says "Are you ok?"
"...I'm not hurt..."
"I'll bring you back to the village, your friends will be there," she says
Zain's eyes wide "No...they can't see me like this...they'll...they'll..."
Axelle smiles "here, take this." she says removing her sash and smiles "Bend over please." she asks and wraps his scaled soulder and head with the long fabric. "Better?"
"Yes...until I can see Merlin..." he says and follows her into the forest.

"Or all of the above," Sapphire commented quietly, looking to the adults hoping they would have a clue what to do, what way to go or how they were supposed to find the missing Zain. "Seeing as that wasn't a very...pleasant...sound, and neither Kalisifer or Zain are around here...or gave any hint of leaving, we should go find them. Zain at least wanted to go find Nabiki and Kris, so to get out of our sight this quickly....they either had help or were taken...or so it seems?" She said, thinking aloud, "Do any of you have an idea or a way to find him?" She asked the teachers. because we don't seem to....I think... Earlier most everyone hadn't seemed used to the forest, after all.

"Listen everyone, Zain will make his way here like the rest of us. He probably just got caught up looking at the scenery. He does have that sketchbook of his you know.," Mr. Match said to everyone. "Besides, I don't want any of you running off into the forest after that last incident with Serenity."
Kami smiles at Nabiki. "Nah, I can't get mad at you. You always end up doing something that makes me like you again. Besides, Kris...it's because of stuff like that that I told him not to go after you in the first place." She looks worriedly back towards where they had left from. "And I don't envy being in the position he is in right now..."
"I agree. I think Serenity is keeping a close watch on all of us now after that incident with Kris and Nabiki so I doubt anything bad has happened to him.," Isaac commented.
"Grr. This forest...It seems way too easy to get lost in it...," Lance comments, not very trusting of the woods after the past couple of minutes.
"If anything that could be a beast of the forest.," Rami said to Sapphire. "This forest reminds me of a more primal, clustered version of the deserts of my homeland. I...would not go into it without knowing the surroundings."

"Ok that's covering the forest. How's about scouting by air?" Malus offers. I can possibly spot him minus the dangerous animals getting in my way and whooped."
"He'll be fine. Both of them will, I only date tough guys and gals." Nabiki smiles. "We'll wait here until they're both back." Nabiki then moves in. "But I feel the need to right one thing here." She leans in and gives Kami a quick kiss. "Now...let's stay on guard...just in case that wasn't Zain." Her voice then reveals some of her worry.
"I think things are fine. Have any of you figured out what is happening to him yet?" Masamune says.
"No...what?" Jim asks.
"He's becoming a man. Puberty can be a bitch for some demons. Getting out adult horns for one hurts." Masamune says.
"Yeah, ain't nuffink in there than can 'urt 'im. Being born inna forest I can tell when they're beasties in there. I do think that the roaring wuz Zainy. If Lord Masa's right it explains so much." Dale says. "Got a 'alf cousin who is part slime demon. Spent a fortune on mops and towels 'e did."
"And you complain about my wife." Jim says.
"They're right Leah, Kris will be fine. He's got Merlin there with him. Don't worry." Roy says, hugging her. "And if something goes wrong we'll get there and save the day again."
