Sapphire rubbed her temple absently, she'd gone from hearing a voice that not everyone could hear to being teleported by Merlin to a clearing with a rather angry woman and now a teacher was being turned into a tree. Only it's hardly for our protection, and teleportation would have been just as fast. She focused on Serenity, hoping she'd live up to her name and calm down, "It seems rather foolish to live in a forest without a cure to a poison there," She pointed out. "Maybe if you apologize Mr. Maxine, she'll help you?" She suggested. "It seems...reasonable enough..."

"What,hell no!!!" Kris yelled.
"Cure him lady!!! You cure him now!" he continued, electricity shot around him. His eyes sparked as well.
"Fix him!!! You!!!"
"Kris!!!, behave yourself. Act with more etiquite. There's no reason to be rude. I've been in worse situations before." he said with a smile.
"I'll be okay." he said with a slight yawn.

Illyana thinks "wait, Zain...isn't that the stuff Miss.Venomossa said was a good subtitute for acidic creepermoss?" she asks, and hears no answer "Zain?" she looks around and can't see him. "Where'd he go..."

By the laws that govern her she is not doing anything wrong and if ANY of you have a problem with that then take it up with ME." Masamune snaps at them.
"I will not let you do the same to Lady Serenity in her own home either. You kids smarten up or else this nonsense will give Snape or anything that can hurt or kill you the chance to. She's right, she's the one who let us in. Do NOT spit in her face with such behavior." He lets out an angry snarl. "ARE WE CLEAR?" He says with a tone that demanded authority and respect.
Malus took a step backward.
Roy gulped by stood his ground. "Y...Yes Sir."

"I'm not sure who the hell....you think you are, but he ain't dying here.." Kris growled. His voice had shifted again, and the gem had glowed a bright red, visible through his shirt.

"Kris, you're overreacting." Nabiki says, stepping in the way. "The crystal's acting up because you're giving it a chance."
Malus then steps in front of her. "Man up Kris."
"Malus, move." Nabiki says.
"The only reason I was staring is because i wished you weren't so glum. I'm the last person to judge you." Malus smirks. "I mean even though I was kinda crushing on your new girlfriend for a bit there it's cool. But you've done enough...and I got a score to settle with the spirit if it comes to blows." He then looks back at Kris.
"Malus..." Nabiki felt a bit better hearing that.
"You're better than this dude. Grow a set and give that freaking spook a reminder, or are you going to make me look good by comparison?" Malus says. "And you...the thing in the rune. You can go kiss my scaly dragon ass. You ain't got what it takes to take Kris. You'd be better off going after a wimp like me than a guy like that, or do you like one sided battles that much?" he then spreads his wings. "If we're doing this, then don't think I'll hold back. I'll kick Kris' ass as hard as i gotta to save him from a dumbshit like you."

"Wha- No!!!, I'm not hurting...Malus,...." Kris yelled normally, he grabbed the side of his head, and closed his eyes, concentrating on the trees around him. Electricity lept from his chest, where the gem was located, and hit the ground.
"Dang...it." he said straining.
Leah stood in front of Roy,
"Kris!!!"

"Malus stop it!" Illyana shouts and temporarily abandons her search, figuring Zain must have just appeared elsewhere in the group. she runs over to Kris, ignoring the lightning. she puts her hands on his shoulders and looks at him "Kris, look at me." she demands
"Illy, get away, his gem is shooting lightning!" Mortus shouts to her. "Her squishy human body can't take lightning..." he mutters.
Illyana ignores her brother and continues to stare intently at Kris "Look at me. And ignore everything else. Everything." she says in a firm, yet soothing voice. "earth..." she says quietly, maintaining eye contact with Kris, and wraps the gem in earth, hoping that it would protect her from lightning.

Kris opened his eyes, and just stared at her.
Kill her, you want to do it. She must die, her clan....kill her do it now. FIRE!!!, the voice screamed inside his head.
"No....Illy...." The voice was silenced once more,
"Illy....you." His face got closer to hers.
"you..." It got closer still.
"Illy," he fell forward onto her shoulder, passed out.

Illyana catches him, surprisingly able to hold him easily, another subtle indication of her drgon blood. She sighs with relief and strokes his hair, before looking at the teachers "Did no one seriously think of using earth to counteract the lightning?"
Mortus sighs with relief "Mom, thank you for gifting Illy with your inivation and common sense. For we lack it." he say to the sky.

Illyana smiles at Masamune "Oh, suuuuure you did." she giggles quietly and properly lifts Kris over her shoulder. she then takes him back to the group, and looks around at several odd looks she was recieving from some of the boys "What? You didn't think I could lift him?"
Mortus smiles "That's my baby sister!"

"All your brawn but with brains and looks too. Guess your folks held back when you were made dude." Malus teases Mortus.
Nabiki steps back from this and heads over to Kami. "Kami...I'm sorry for bailing. If you wanna kick my ass or something I wouldn't blame you. I just..." Nabiki suddenly hugs her. "I hate people seeing us as a bad thing when it's not." She then kisses her cheek. "Forgive me?"
"You...shielded me." Roy was stunned. "Leah...you...thank you."
