hmmm...want me to ask him if you can bring it over sometime and he can take a look at it? I mean, I don't want you having to spend a bajillion dollars on something that might be really easy for him to fix.

yeah....that might be best....cause well...he knows what he's doing. And I'm rather fond of my laptop.
And outer...I do have a desktop. It's incredibly slow and decrepit. It's also not portable, is upstairs in the hottest room in the house, and is nowhere near convenient during the summer....

Cause you know...if you're offerring a free computer, I'll take it. But otherwise, I'm going to stick with hoping my awesome friend's awesome dad can fix it. Cause I be poor, and there are (sadly) more important things I should be doing with my money...

Well, still, I wasn't kidding with the reformat idea. I had a similar problem and the only way I could get rid of it was by reformatting. Gave me a good excuse to upgrade to windows 7 too!

really? i start cussing up a storm at my laptop till eventually i instilled the fear of god into an inatimate object and then i got internet back....wierd that only works for me?
