Because life is cruel and enjoys taking away what makes our pitiful existences worth while?
What my beloved Isis neglected to mention was that I can get online via my phone and decrepit desktop, neither of which are the most convenient things. But it can be done.
So I'll be spying on things through mobile web and forcing Isis to post for me if the desktop gives out. But hopefully it'll live long enough for me to get the laptop fixed. Hopefully....

It's (please excuse my phrasing, it's been a long day) being brutally raped by spyware. Repeatedly.
I've gone through all the basic stuff, system restore, default settings, and all the good stuff the 'how to get rid of windows 7 recovery' things online tell you to do. And I so totally can't get it to work...And I'd rather not screw it over worse by attempting more stuff.

Well Ice...I tried that. It got about an eighth of the way through the scan, and then the spyware decided it didn't like that to much (or something) because my laptop proceeded to shut itself down.
So unless your dad can do something, Ink....I get to wave bye bye to my money. (or buy a new laptop, depending on how expensive it is...yay....)

here's what he said:
you should have spybot downloaded on you computer if you used it.
what you do is run your computer in safe mode, disconect it from the internet, then run the program.

so what does he say I should do if I go in my programs, click the little spybot folder...and beneath it is says...(empty)
And that I tried to find it in my downloads...only it's not there either. And the same thing goes for most/all other documents...

I say reformat the entire laptop. Or, better yet, get a desktop instead since Laptops suck.
