Kiri sat on the ground, stunned and gasping. "Ice...you...you saved me..." she murmured, as her eyes filled with tears. Now, her fear returned to her as she watched Nexus stand over her, yet when he claimed Nessii was dead, she knew it was not so. He was gone somewhere she couldn't reach, bt he was alive. "Nessii...please..." she whispered as the light from Mortekai surrounded them. "Please! Nessii, I know you can hear me! I can't see you, but I feel you! Nessii, don't become this, this is not you! You are sweet, kind, a gentleman. You have morals, and you are loyal!"
As the light shined brighter, she stood with her hands clasped. "You are a true warrior, someone who fights for others! You are wonderful...and I can't bear the thought of being without you!" As the light died and Mortekai slumped to the ground, Kiri fell to her knees. "I can't bear the thought of life without you, because I...I...I love you...." She closed her eyes, preparing herself for the worst, resigning herself.

((Ooc, now I know that Dynamax is our like resident king, but damn....that post really was really creaking good. You really feel for Kiri. The post really pulled at your heartstrings. Good job Isis. That's the kind of writing that's amazing. ^_^))
As the beam light slowly disapated, Nexus was left standing. His body smoked slightly, and his armor was thrown about him in tatters around the demon. The monsters vision blurred slightly and he fell to one knee. "I...I...am a...I am Nexus." He said staring at Mortekais limp form on the ground. "....I..am not....a relic...f..f...from the past. I am eternal." He spit up some blood and fell forward onto his hands. His hair Hung down and around him. " I am...I..am Nexus. I am...the beserker...spirit. the...d.d..Demon....Demon Lord of the south. I am the nightmare of all living things. I...I am not...I am Not a fool." He looked forward, and stared at Kiri's body. Her, this woman...she was the reason....the reason for all his troubles. From the second he took her, his newfound life had been nothing but embarrassment after embarrassments. She would pay for everything. He slowly began crawling forward, his sword dragging behind him. "I..am Nexus. I am the end to all. I shall never die. I....I am...Eternal." the creature spoke as he reached her. He used his sword as a crutch, and slowly stood up. His anger the only thing sustaining him. He stood up and raised his sword. "Death...awaits you. Bitch." He growled at her.
The piece of the Maltos blade that sat behind Kiri shook violently again, cracks formed all along its surface. It began glow white, before the blade shattered, two pieces landing in front of Kiri. The shadow quickly shot to her, and surrounded her, trying to seemingly save her. The demon lord screamed and swung his blade downwards. " Kiri...you shall join Necrassii now. "

((Well thank you!!! =D))
Kiri let out a breath. "Fine. I will die, and that's okay. As long as I am with Nessii, I don't care. Kill me, if you must." The shadow that surrounded her from the Maltos blade felt familiar, and she only just registered it surrounding her before Nexus brought down his blade for seemingly the final time.
((You better make one damn of an uber post, Noble. ^_^))

Time seemed to slow, and the shadow around Kiri seemed to shift its mass towards her. The shadow turned back and watched the blade as it came flying down. A bright light engulfed them as the blade slammed into a solid object. A object that sounded like the clashing of metal. Nexus stood with his sword out in front of him. His arms, trembling from the force of the blow. Nexus couldn't understand the source of the noise. His eyes had closed when the bright light flashed, he hadn't seen his blade hit her, but he knew it had found home. As the light cleared, he realized he wasn't standing over Kiri. He wasn't standing over her alone, another individual crouched in front of him. "But...but how....you're...youre dead." The demon spat out weakly. A pair of bright red eyes stared up at him. A man, a man with long black hair, that was up in a pony tail. His pearly white skin glowed slightly in the sunlight a small crescent moon tattoo adournd his forehead. Necrassii Batanoe stood, his pink handled Kanti in his left hand, a long crack ran down the center of its blade, was above him, holding back the much larger blade that Nexus held in his. "You....won't....touch my Kiri ever again." The blessed warrior of Maltos said. In one fell swoop, Nessii unsheathed his black handled sword and with a quick blur of movement, Nexus erupted in a spray of blood. The demon stepped back, holding his stomach, and staring at Necrassii. "But....I...how..." "Kiri." Nessii said quietly, before shearing his blades. He took a step forward, and then another, Nexus lifted his blade. "....death." he spat out. "For you." Necrassii replied back, before shooting forward and unsheathing both swords, in a lightning quick motion, Nessii stood behind the demon. He sheathed one sword, and pulled his other sheath from his belt. He flipped his pink handled sword once, and then began to slowly sheath it. Nexus dropped his blade to the ground and fell onto his knees. "Gahhh..." Was the sound that issued from his mouth, before his body erupted into black smoke. Nessii stopped his sword just short of fully sheathing it for a moment, before he quickly brought the blade in. Through the smoke, the demons head began to slid away from his body, before suddenly in a wave of black magic and a torrential wind the demons body exploded and the darkness the was Nexus shot into the sky before dispersing. After a few moments, the darkness vanished from the world, Nexus was vanquished. Nessii quickly turned to Kiri and ran toward, dropping his sword and sheath as he ran. He slid on his knees before coming to a stop next to her. "Kiri...are...are you ok?" He asked her, before slowly wrapping his arms around her and kissing her forehead.

Kiri sat, unblinking. He was here, it was really him, Nessii was here. "I..." she murmured. She watched in awe as Nexus was defeated, and yet once everything was over, she remained still, frozen in shock. The kiss to her forehead seemed to bring her to her senses, and her green eyes slid up to his face. "Nessii...I knew it. I knew you weren't dead..." she slumped forward against him, exhausted and absolutely relieved that Nessii was back with her once again.

((OOC Camera zoom out, fade to black. Start playing the sad catchy music that they used in all of the trailers for this as the credits roll. Then after word comes the epilouges! Seriously I think this will be a fine place to stop. If you have anything else to say go ahead and write up and epilouge for that character. If there needs to be interactions between people just ask, but for now I think this will be it. Sorry If you have something more planned for this battle guys, but if there needs to be some last bit of dialouge that happened right after the battle just throw it into your epilouges. And now for mine.))
Kalut: Demoness of the Lonely Throne
As Shiruba-kaze faded from the world, his powers transferred to his blessed, Kalut. The powers overwhelmed the girl and her screams echoed throughout the misty valley. Her hair grew longer, as did her wings. Her body pulsed and tore apart her tight-fitting outfit. Her hair, already dark black was now being peppered with black feathers as well. She had become the new Demon Lord of Black Skies. Kalut’s did not bless Chisume. Instead she quickly returned to the mountainous black spire Shiruba-kaze and his blessed had called home. The place seemed empty, and lifeless despite the thousands of crows that covered the mountain. The crows remained silent as did the land. Kalut sat down on the throne of bone and stone that Shiruba-kaze had called his. Somehow the demon’s last moments had left an effect on the new Demoness. She simply sat there on the Lonely Throne.
Shiruba-kaze: The Fallen Feather
The Afterworld. A Place of Nothingness for most, but the old Demon Lord held on for a moment longer.
“Familiarity…How odd…” He thought, yet somehow spoke as well. “We all start as nothing…And return to it nonetheless…” Shimogin spoke to his brother. The pair stared at each other for a moment. The void of nothingness swirled around them. “Well? Are you going to talk or should I just wait for you to fade away?” Shimogin asked. “You promised one last game…Ever since the bet we had 100,000 years ago…And now I’d like to play.” Shiruba-kaze spoke boldly. “Alright…I’ll choose the game, but what is at stake my brother?” Shimogin asked. “Not resurrection I can assure you that.” Shiruba-kaze said. Shimogin actually looked surprised. “You…You don’t want to try and play a simple game to resurrect yourself?” "No…This game…Is far more important…” Shiruba-kaze smiled. His mask was gone as were his powers, but that did not stop Shiruba-kaze from facing this challenge head on, even though the outcome meant death, no matter what the outcome was.
Hekireki and Sarutobi Sasuke: The Bridge toward Humanity Hekireki and Sarutobi lived quite peacefully in the old domain of the Nue across the river from Lord Ishanto’s manor. It took a bit but Sarutobi finally began to venture to the village as an emissary for his God. Lord Ishanto fought against a treaty with the God, stating that he had that if he had the resources to kill one God he could do it again. However Sarutobi chose to stick to his plan of peaceful negotiations. Soon enough a rift began to appear as many of the residents of the town realized this God was kind, as was his blessed. They realized they could live in peace and harmony and began to question their Lord Ishanto. Soon enough a rebellion occurred and Lord Ishanto and his few loyal samurai were killed. A new Lord was put in charge of the Manor, and he immediately signed a treaty with the God and his blessed. Hekireki began to see the good in humans and has lived in harmony with the humans ever since.
Shenri: The Calming Storm
The strange demon born followed Chisume after Shiruba-kaze died. He grew quickly due to his accelerated aging; however he slowly began to stop as he reached his late teens. He had grown to full adulthood. As he grew he became less blood crazed, and less like a monster. While he still finds it hard to talk, he can now interact with Chisume easily. He still shows urges to kill and be a monster, but now is able to control these urges.
Doji: The Lucky Old Man
The old blacksmith who had once lived in Ishanto’s village decided to leave after all the fighting had died down. He and his two donkeys, Akishirimirimoto and Bob, went into the forest and built a quaint home there. As it turned out Bob was actually a female, so they soon had a family. Doji lived a quiet peaceful life, living in harmony with the forest. His friend, Senshin would often stop by and they would talk. For some strange reason luck seems to be on Doji’s side, as he has had no health problems, and continues to be very active into his old age. It’s as though for some strange reason he can’t die.
Yuuryuko: The Blooming Wildflower
Yuuryuko decided to traverse the land after the battles had been settled. However it was not very long before he returned to Yuki. He soon confessed his love to the woman he had seen transform into a goddess. She also returned his feelings of love. They were soon married, and Yuki also blessed Yuuryuko so that they could spend more time together. Yuuryuko began to accept the fact that Shiruba-kaze was his father, but decided that it was not the things in the past that controlled his fate; it was what he did in the present. For some strange reason almost as soon as the battles were over, Yuuryuko’s cursed swords: Suiketsu, the blade of bloodlust, Tsukiyo, the life stealer, and Zenjitsu the life granter, were all turned back to normal weapons. Somehow, something had lifted the curses. Yuuryuko had almost no explanation for it, but accepted the fate that now he was free. His new life as a blessed, and as Yuki’s husband were blooming.
Shimogin: The Vanishing Soul
Shimogin took his blessed Senshin to the World between Worlds and explained to him some of his final duties. After revealing to him some of the fundamental laws that hold together the universe, Shimogin slowly took of the hat that had somehow always obscured his eyes and the rest of his face from vision, no matter at what angle you looked. Before Senshin could get a look at the mysterious being’s face, he handed the hat off to the boy, and vanished into the shadows. As he handed of the reigns to Senshin the old gambler’s laugh could be heard chuckling all around.
“It’s your turn now Senshin…You shall work this world for me…Do as I do and give people the last chances they deserve…I may return one day to check on your progress…but for now I take my leave…Until we meet again, Senshin…”
Shimogin then simply vanished. No one has seen him since.

Yuki
After assuring that all the soldiers, both human and blessed were healed, Yuki returned to her mountain home to take on her role as its Goddess. For years she served its people, performing the same tasks her predecessor had, by guiding those lost in her mountain to safety. One day she discovered a man who she believed was lost. When she approached him she found it was Yuuryuko. He confessed his love to her and they were shortly after married. The general reaction of their old friends to this news was ‘About damn time’. Yuki blessed her husband and they went on to live happy lives together, having two children a girl and a boy.
Senshin
As the battle field cleared, Shimogin took Senshin aside to a world between the worlds. He was told by his master the rules and secrets that he was to live by, and left him in charge of his duties. Senshin was then returned to his homeworld, not too far from his hometown. With Shimogin’s hat and power as the only trace of what he had been told that day, he began to travel, gambling with those whose desire for something was great enough to call him. Along the way he met up with Doji again, near the end of his life. Senshin offered to play a game with him to extend his life, and so they did. This was but the first of many games the two played. Doji quickly became Senshin’s ‘greatest adversary’, a man that could always ‘best him’. Senshin who had once adhered to rules and respected them, came to love how he could bend them.
Mikomi
After the battle was over Mikomi stopped her hunt for Gods, having realized that they weren’t so bad as long as they stayed Gods. She never gave up her hunt for demons and their blessed however, and still carried some distaste of blessed in general. Later on in her life she was badly injured by a demon she was fighting, and though she took his life first, she was certain to die. Knowing this a God blessed her to save her life, a reward for the good she had done by slaying the demon. Horrified by this, she committed suicide, having preferred death over being blessed.
Yanaki
After his father’s battle with his brothers, Yanaki was given his father’s dominion. In his final moments, the Great forest Spirit told him of two things; that it would be Yanaki’s duty to be father to the Gods who would gain the many responsibilities of the Great forest spirit, so that the power was spread. And that He would have to learn responsibility I the way his brother had. Yanaki, confused by the second task asked what his father mean, and was answered by a small hand tugging on his clothes. When he looked, he saw a small girl with antlers that had green leaves in them, looking at him with wide eyes. Her first words to him were “Brother, I’m hungry.” with that he left, holding his apparent little sister’s hand to find Akiki and give her the news…hoping the wolves would not eat him for it.
Yoarashi
He served loyally at Mikomi’s side with his sister Ren. He later was married and had a few children, who were all excellent little ninja.
Kentetsu
Went on living as he had before, tending to his domain and ever worrying about how his newest little sister would turn out under Yanaki’s care.
Chisume
After being given the strange black egg by Shiruba-kaze, Chisume took care of Shenri, neither ever returning to Kalut. She cared for Shenri like a mother in his early years, and as a sister later on. She guarded her last gift from her master and greatest love with her life. For an unknown reason, even after losing Shiruba-kaze’s blessing with his death, her life remained extended.
Akamizu
Distraught with her lover’s fall, Akamizu returned to her recently claimed domain. She remained there as a relatively quiet demon, only killing those who got too close to her home. She created several minions to serve her, and aid in raising her child.
Ren
Continued serving Mikomi along with her brother. She never told either of them she was blessed.
Shakaku
After the battle, he returned home to his daughter, who was convinced her had played a much larger part in it than he said.
Kousotsu
After a chat with Zakimiya, he was returned to his home, and told his best friend/gaming partner about all that had happened.

Drakeous Nal: The Demon of justice
After the defeat of Nexus, Drake was reunited with Necrassii. Together they took Isa's body to the field where Nessii had buried Isis, so long ago. There they buried her and afterwards Drake took his leave of Nessii, vowing to one day return to his friends side. He went on to travel the known world, joining in battles and wars far and wide. He eventually was able to find the demon that had cursed him. The demon attempted to kill him, but she was slain by him. Upon her death, the curse that had plagued him was lifted and he became human again. He returned to his home in Nudoria. Upon returning to Nudoria, he almost immediatly found Nessii. He had with him a small child, who later he learned was Necrassii"s daughter. He spent the day with pair and that night as he returned home, he met a young woman, the two fell for eachother and were soon married. He had two children with her one boy and one girl. As he made his way home one night, he was attacked by a group of 7 men. By this time Drakeous was a man of normal strength, he was able to kill the men, and reach his home. Sadly his injuries were too great and he died in his wifes arms. Necrassii built a monument for him in the city square.
Hatorii Hanzo: The Assassin of the Full Moon
After revealing to Mikomi that he was a former blessed of the demon Maltos Grixan, he took his leave of Mikomi. She letting him live for his services past rendered. He has since not been heard from since. On occasion however, Military Generals, and even some Lords of the lands would be found dead. Killed as if by the gods themselves. The only evidence of the killer is a small white knife that glows white under the light of a full moon. The killer has never been seen.
The Tonfu Family of Gods: Resting in Peace
The three fallen gods, Ikichi, Xion and Renzo were able to hold There tainted sister Taki-Non, from entering battle and helping Nexus to win in his battle. They knew what the outcome of this choice meant for the family. Upon his defeat, the energies holding them together dispelled, and the four died together. Upon their deaths, they entered the Afterworld, where the four now rest together. Their hearts clean of the evil that was Nexus.
Necrassii Batanoe: The Demon of Rekindled Life
After his apparent revival after Nexus tried to Kill Kir, Necrassii destroyed the demon and rescued Kiri. He held her to his chest, and closed his eyes. He kissed her, and told her that he couldn't believe that she thought he wasn't going to come back. "Heh, I still owe you a house." he said to her before slowly lowering his head and looking into her eyes. "You....you always believed in me. Even when things were bad. Even when I lost myself. I..I could see everything, but I was trapped. Lost in the darkness. You...you're..I was able to find my way to you. You are...Kiri...I...I...have..really uh..strong...I..I.." he stuttered and turned red slightly, before he leaned closer and kissed her gently on the lips. He told her he loved her. They left that evil place with their friends, He and Kiri were eventually married, and they were very happy. They had two children, a boy and a girl. He eventually built her a house, and eventually retook the domain of his former Master Grixan Maltos. However, instead of continuing to destroy and cause panic across the land, he decided to devote his life to being peaceful and life loving.

((Sorry, I may or may not have been on vacation and lazy))
Akiki and the Wolves
To say Akiki and her wolves were shocked when things ended and they finally got back to Yanaki, only to see him with a small child was shocking....is an understatement. However the group managed to adapt, the wolves did not eat Yanaki or his sister -actually, they took to the child rather quickly- and all was reasonably well.
Magen and Kinjinu
Magen went on to continue life with the God who had blessed him. When the time came that Magen finally died at a ripe old age, because his blessing didn't make him immortal, Kinjinu mourned. And then he blessed Magen's son, knowing it was what all parties involved wanted.
Sira and Sayuki
The duo lived together in their forest, in relative peace. They visited Greston and Kiri most often, the others whenever it suited their fancy, and all was well. Eventually, Sira fell in love with a human, who was later blessed by the god of a nearby river. They wound up having babies and all was well and nothing hurt.

Mortekai Rigel
Mortekai completed his focus. The demon lord Nexus was destroyed once and for all, thanks in part to his efforts. However, the cost of his final attack drained everything Mortekai had in him. He didn't survive the final battle.
Cosmos
Cosmos could not have been prouder of Mortekai. He had completed the task set before him, which was all Cosmos could have asked for. As a reward, a new constellation formed in the sky that day, one in the shape of a katana, to represent and honor the blessed who gave his life to not only save the mountain of the ice goddess, but to stop the demon forces and prevent a horrible demon lord from rampaging across the world once again.
Chaos
Chaos observed the woman that lay before it. She had awoken, obviously unsure of her surroundings or where she even was. Its plans with the demon lord Shiruba-kaze had failed unexpectedly. Oh, how gloriously unexpectedly. Malzahar was, for intents and purposes, out of the picture.
But this woman had potential. It could use her, benefit from a...mutual agreement.
"So, you have awoken.," it said to her.
"Where am I?," the woman replies calmly, yet drowsly. She pauses. "What happened?"
"The battle between the demons and gods of your home is over. Your friends have won.," Chaos replies.
"What about Ice? Where is he?," the woman demands.
"Ice gave his life to aid in finishing off Nexus. He is dead...for the time being.," it answers.
The woman muses over this fact for a few moments. "So then...why am I here?"
"We have brought you here because you interest us. You are very peculiar and very powerful, if unrefined. We could help you with that, give you the boost you need to reach your potential. We could have use of you.," Chaos explains, it's voice coming from all directions and no directions at once.
"...What kind of use?," She asks skeptically, not trusting this voice, this presence.
"We do not know. That is the beauty of the future, the unknown, the uncertainty. You could have many, or you could have none. Either way, you could help spread uncertainty...spread Chaos.," Chaos whispers into her mind. "Imagine...the power to do anything, whatever you set your mind to. Few could stop you, if any, who could know for sure. Maybe you could be unstoppable. Either way, the world will tremble beneath what we could do for you, what we could give you.," it's voice tempts.
"Well I can already do anything. I only need to learn it once.," The woman says back.
"You can only learn what you have seen, what you have experienced, what your mind can withhold and store. Yet you are, but mortal, human. Humans...are extraordinary creatures. They have the capacity for so much. You have the capacity for so much.," Chaos compliments her, offers praise. "The tragic thing of it all is that you lack time to learn it all. You lack the time to expand and hold it all. You lack the health to live long enough to reach your fullest potential. 119 years is a long time to live...imagine if you had longer.," Chaos criticizes, pointing out the woman's flaws.
The woman is caught off guard. "How do you know how old I am?! Who are you?!"
Chaos' laughter echoes across the realm it and the woman are in, piercing her mind. "We know many things, Frost. We also know that for living 119 years, you have only learned so little with your ability. Your masters have been less than subpar. Take Ice for example. You had to nag and bother him constantly just to learn the smallest thing. You need a real teacher, a real mentor, one who cares about your growth and your potential, one who is committed.," it explains.
"That would be nice, but you're in this for chaos and death and destruction type things. I wouldn't want anything to do with that.," Frost declares.
"You speak as if that's ever our goal. Chaos is many things. Destruction is a part of it, this is true. But victories no one could have predicted, people persevering against impossible odds, babies living long lives despite terrible mutations, sickness, or disabilities. Chaos deals with those as well, we deal with those as well. The universe cannot live without us. You could aid in that cause.," Chaos offers her.
Frost thinks for a moment. "That's a nice offer and all, but I want to think about it. Is there anyway I can get out of here and explore where I am?," she asks.
Chaos laughs again. "You amuse us. You wish to see where you are? It is because of us that you have not been consumed by the Void that surrounds us." It then creates a window of shimmering energy that reveals outside of their little zone. Outside there is nothing but pure chaos. There are no shapes that make sense, no forms that are familiar. Things, for that is all one could call them, appear and form in an instant only to disappear and disperse shortly afterward. "You could go out there, although we doubt you would last long."
"Does this make me your prisoner then?," Frost asks, unamused.
"Perhaps. We did take you, without asking you. And we do have plans with you...Consider it like this. We are giving you a choice. We prefer to give choices, to give you a chance to accept. It would honestly be better for you that way. If you do not accept, we will take matters into our own hands. You would not enjoy the other option, it has less feeling, less care in it. More malice and removed emotions."
Frost doesn't know what to say. "I...I don't...know. I can't make a decision on this right now...," she says hesistantly.
The window vanishes. A presence begins to surround Frost, envelop her, purple energy coursing through the air around her. "Well, we gave you a choice. We shall make the decision for you. We are sure you will like the outcome...if not...then oh well..."
And with that Frost's screams echo out through the Void as the power of Chaos infuses inside her and becomes one with her body, mind, and soul. Chaos corrupts all that it touches...but is it truly corruption? Or a higher state of being, a higher power few have ever felt? Frost is sure to find out, much as Malzahar once did, and much as Zelgius did as well.
