Part 3

[Isis]

((I'm assuming the original can't, or at least the ones in Mortekai's gravity-thingy. THe one Ki and Kiri are fighting can, I think.))

Kiri smiled and jumped lightly on Kenji's back, ignoring the faint pain she felt from her earlier injuries. She buried one hand in Kenji's fur, the other tightening on the hilt of her sword.

[Noble 6]

The third Nexus smiled, his eyes twinkled as he hefted a blue energy sword. He stepped forward, and fired a wave of energy towards his opponents. Father wolf howled and ran to the demons right, his teeth bared

The second Nexus smiled as he too formed dual energy blades, and began blocking and parraying the mighty blows Mortekai was releasing.
"I am no mere copy fool." The demon said.


The original Nexus teleported out of the range of the gravity orb. His eyes set upon Ice.
"This will only take a moment fool."

[CrystalPrison]

Jiro swerved away from the blade and Akiki shifted low to the wolves back. While Father wolf ran at the demon's right, Jiro shifted so he and Akiki could intercept if and when the demon tried to dodge.

Mortekai notices the sunlight and grins. Good job Akiki. "Then you will wish you were one by the time I am done with you.," Mortekai says back to the clone. Sunlight starts gathering on his body, causing him to glow brighter and brighter until eventually he's too bright to even look at. He then moves to the side of the clone so that all three Nexuses where within his front. With a flash, a beam of destructive heat energy flies out from Mortekai's body, hitting all three and even firing off the edge of the tower. ((OOC: BEHOLD! THE PROMINENCE FLARE!))

[Noble 6]

The Nexus standing in front of Mortekai is blasted back by the Prominence Flare, the demon stayed on his feet, the later leaving a trail of broken tile and stone as he slid back, his dual blades having become a single, now charred shield.

The second Nexus (The one fighting Akiki and company), turns in time to see the blast, but is unable to do anything about it. His eyes are wide in shock, and he is sent skimming across the tower, before going over the edge. Father Wolf was blasted by the beam as well, as he made his way forward, His body slid to the edge of the tower,his hind legs hanging off over the edge.

The third Nexus, the original, turned and created a barrier of a dozen blue energy blades, each expanding into giant great swords in order to become a giant defensive platform. The blast slammed into the energy wall, and three of the barriers defensive walls shattered upon the impact. The demon glared at Mortekai, with a small smile on his face.
"The fool has increased his power. How funny, it seems they both powered up as if to fight me. Fools."

[CrystalPrison]

Akiki was instantly grateful that she and Jiro hadn't been quite close enough to Nexus to get hit, though the smell of singed fur was thick in the air, showing just how close they had been. Without discussing it, Jiro sped blur-like over to Father Wolf to help the larger wolf back onto the platform. Akiki peered over the platform as he did so, not trusting that the Nexus was dead.

[Noble 6]

The third Nexus flew up over the edge of the platform. His body smoked a little bit.
"You sneaky bastard. Two destroy him." The third said spitting some blood out of his mouth.

Father Wolf stood slowly. The blast had cracked a few ribs, his body ached.
"Thank you..."

The second Nexus shot forward, his shield turning into a dual bladed Katana.
" die fool!!!"

The original Nexus shot forward, his blade streaming black energy, he slashed at Ice.

Mortekai parries the blow with his katana and knocks the dual bladed katana to the side. With the clone open, he delivers a strong kick to the exposed abdomen of his opponent that explodes with Dark Matter.

[Noble 6]

The third Nexus flipped backwards from the force of the blow, before landing and flying forward. His fist smashed into Mortekai's stomach a dark orb exploding between his fist and the blessed's stomach, knocking him back.

Mortekai slides back, clutching his stomach. His blade becomes coated in dark energy and with a flash, he's behind the clone. Immediately afterward 10 slashes impact the clone, the sound from them delayed by the lightning-fast attack (Light Speed activated).

[CrystalPrison]

Jiro lunged towards the Nexus not attacking Ice or Mortekai, moving too quickly to be seen as more than a blur. Focusing on the lightning around them, Akiki directed it to strike where Nexus stood and readied her blade to intercept the demon if he moved.

[Noble 6]

Ice brought his blade up, blocking the demons. He slid back from the blow, before Nexus slammed him into the ground.

The second Nexus was rocked by the ten slashes, his body sliding backwards. The enraged demon turned and fired a stream of black energy towards the blessed.


The third Nexus turned and in a moment his blue energy blades formed a solid wall, to protect him from the attack Ki was staging. The lightning struck down in front of him, he'd managed to step back.

[CrystalPrison]

Jiro snarled and the next bolt of lightning was controlled by him, about an inch and a half to Nexus's left. However, the strike was also wilder than normal electricity, and sent tendrils of the element out from it. At this point, Akiki wasn't all that shocked that the wolves were just as blessed as she was, she merely began making handsigns, glad for her ease of communicating with the wolves.

Mortekai holds his hand out to the side the energy stream comes from, reflecting the attack with a conjured barrier of light. The reflected stream of dark energy flies at the Nexus that had just slammed Ice into the ground.

[Noble 6]

The original Nexus slams his hand into the ground, causing a stone to erupt from the ground, directly under Ice. He was tossed up into the air, and the blast of redirected energy slammed into him. Ice flipped backwards onto his back, and slowly stood, energy forming around his body. His back was scorched and it hurt to move.
Energy seemed to be coming off of his armor, the crystals in his armor fueled his next attack,
"ELEMENT CANNON!!!" he screamed, a large concentrated beam of energy, the front of which looked like a dragon, shot forward, flying straight at Nexus.
The demon shifted to his right, and he turned to see the blast hit the third Nexus, (the one fighting Kiri/Ki/Father Wolf), the cloned demon screamed out in pain, and suddenly vanished, exploding into a large cloud of black vapors. The black cloud shot back into the Original Nexus.

Ice raised his sword in front of him,
"Damn...I...I cant believe I missed him...that...that could of ended it." his body still emanated energy, and he rushed forward hoping to strike a critical blow against the Demon lord of the south. He slashed downwards, only to have Nexus spin around him, moving much faster than he'd moved a moment ago.
The demon slashed his back with his sword, and Ice yelped out in pain. He rolled forward and turned back to face Nexus.

"Mortekai, they've gotten stronger, the original....damn we should of focused all our attempts on this one. We can still do this."

The other Nexus spun around the energy beam and flew into the air.
"It seems they figured out the strategy."
He raised his and a black dome appeared around the top of the tower.
"I think thats enough lighting for now."

The Original Nexus smiled and began walking towards Ice again.
