Kiri felt her satchel against her side--it felt too light, especially what with the task they were facing. "Akiki, I need to pick up more herbs, for healing. Some herbs are essential," she explained. "May we stop so I can collect some? Perhaps it will be a good chance for you to hunt as well," she suggested.

Akiki thought about it for a few moments and nodded, signaling for the wolves to slow to a stop. They could go longer without eating, but it wouldn't be a good idea to go into a fight lacking strength. She quickly wrote a note, folded it into a paper airplane and threw it to Kiri. 'Meet back here in half an hour?' She had no qualms about the wolves making it back here, and if Kiri could get lost in a forest, with Greston, the blessed girl needed serious help.

Magen sighed when Yuki made no response through the necklace. "Well she's got to check in eventually, right?"

"She may be to preoccupied with her own worries. There is a chance we are not the only ones who will encounter this problem." The God frowned deeply at the thought.

Kiri read the paper and nodded, smiling. "Of course." She slid off Kenji and turned to Greston, who rose gracefully out of the ground. "Greston, come with me? Let's go this way," she began walking to her left. Greston bowed to Akiki and her brothers before following Kiri.

"alright i actully would like to know more about this nexus." set said with a bit of intrest about the subjesct, he actually hasnt shown that much intrest sence he became a god in the first place. "anna surra lets move." he said as he started walking.

Akiki nodded, patting Jiro's side lightly. The wolf hadn't healed completely in the past few days, but he was far better than he had been after his run in with Malazar, Maltos and Akamizu. Kenji gave a wolfish grin and the two wolves loped off, eager to go hunt anything but elk.

Sayuki began walking, Sira followed, both trusting Ice to follow. "Nexus isn't that old, but three thousand years ago, he decided he wanted to rule the southern end of the continent, back then he was called Necrux. To do so, he had to defeat the Tonfu siblings, four Gods who ruled the area, Ikichi the Goddess of war, Taki the Goddess of the fighting spirit, Xion of the Southern Wind and Renzo, whose title escapes me."

"He began with Taki, as to defeat the siblings together is suicide. When he had defeated her and converted her to a demon, he used her to take Xion, and from there, Renzo. Together the four challenged Ikichi, who beat down her own siblings and was at near death herself. But at the sight of Necrux, she regained her strength and they battled once more."

"I was not there, but the trees have seen it, and those that survived carried the memories. It was a battle of greatness, and devestation. In the end, Necrux won and changed her, and now she too is loyal to him."

He paused here, surveying the land before them, "Since then many gods have grown, but it would be foolish to believe they have not grown as well. As long as they remain loyal to each other, no matter how many gods we have on our side, you must not forget they too will be working with other demons. And that is why this is no easy task."

"i see, well with those four we will be in a great deal of trouble, but i have to say nexus while be strong himself strong enough to take me at full power and probley even beat me." he said as he closed his eyes. "i truly hope the gods of legend arent just folk lore or we are in for more trouble that we bargan for."

"Shimogin...," Cosmos repeated, letting the name linger while recalling who it belonged to. "Isn't he the brother of the demon lord Shiruba-kaze? A gambler of fates or something of the like? I did not think he had blessed...or even actively did much of anything at all that could directly influence events."

Father Wolf and Xion ran, they'd run nonstop. Covering hundreds of miles in the two days since they'd left. They'd found one pack of the Southern Wolves, and he'd convinced them that this threat was large enough that it would pose a world wide threat. They would do battle with the Yuki-Onna. They would aid her in their battle for justice, and peace. They'd told the God that they'd find the other packs, and they would be at the battle that was to come.

The pair then set off towards the old sanctom of the Once god Renzo, her brother.
"I can see the mountain, see.....its the one that has the red...snow top." she said pointing.
Good, for when we reach the mountain. You will climb it to its peak. I must rest... He said aloud. His heart thundered in his chest.
"Yes, no problem. I will go to him, and I shall awaken him. Then Yuki's army will have the greatest shield ever to walk the grounds of this world.


Nexus had followed Kiri's scent. They'd had a very long head start, but he had followed the green girl's scent. He needed to find her. He needed to, it wasn't something he had any control over. All he knew, was that he'd be at a loss if anything happend to her before he found her. She was a key factor in his own power. To retain what he'd lost. She'd separated from the wolf girl, that much was certain. But he could smell another...or was it others...

Taki and Ikichi crowded the entrance way, their master had yet to return, and Taki more-so than Ikichi was begining to get worried.
"He's fine...nothing can kill him...he's fine." Ikichi assured her sister for what felt like the hundreth time.

[Inkshade]

Senshin sighs "He normally wouldn't have, but he was sort of forced to bless me. I was in Juujigai when it was attacked...Shirub-kaze attacked me, sent me flying into the forest like paper in the wind. My own blade fractured and I was implaled on it. I'm not sure what exactally happened after that. All I know is my friend Doji played a game with Shimogin for my life."

"You know Doji?!" Yuki says happily, then blushes "I'm sorry...please go on."

Senshin smiles "That's okay. Well, Doji won, but I was too fargone to simply be healed, so, Shimogin had to bless me to keep me alive...he was obligated to. It's how his powers work..." he shurgs "So...what are you all doing out here?" he asks, trying to be friendly. he fought demons and gods, and now he was forced to befriend them because he was one of them.

"We're trying to recruit allies. We have friends going out to find others." Yuki says, putting some of the food on the fire to cook it.

"Oh? Which gods?" he asks

Akiki tightened her fingers in Jiro's fur as the wolf leapt over a fallen tree, his brother following close behind them. A moment later, the scent of deer caught their attention and to wolves veered off, intent on prey.

Sayuki shrugged briefly, "These gods aren't necessarily legendary in strength, they are just well known." He pointed out. "But I suppose that isn't the point here." While he spoke, he looked around and seemed to listen to something no one else could hear.

Yuuryuko tensed up."Shimogin? He..." Yuuryuko thought back to the game he had played.

"No...no he can't be..." He looked up at Senshin."He blessed you?"

"Doji...You...you also met Doji?" Yuuryuko looked confused, but happy."I'm glad he's alright..."

Senshin nods "Yes, he's just fine."

Yanaki follows the scent in the air. he was fast approaching his target, as he figured he would find her, with her brothers hunting what smelled like stupid deer.

Jiro whined at a scent that was almost Yanaki, the wolves could only assume it was him, that it had changed when he’d gone demonic. Akiki nodded, shifting her body to the left, away from where they’d left Kiri. She didn’t want to be responsible for the girl when this was all said and done with, she trusted Yanaki not to harm her to badly, even like this, but Kiri was a different story. But Greston, can he sense us? Can he sense Yanaki?

[Isis]

Greston moved with Kiri, who was walking along rather unsteadily. "Kiri....did you get enough rest?" She miled up at him, "Of course I did, I got more than enough." Greston sighed, and a slight breeze brought in a sense.....they were being followed. He glanced through the trees, keeping his face calm, but saw or heard no one--but the sense was stronger now, and he was sure. I need to make sure Kiri can protect herself,...she's never faced these challenges in her life. I believe I must teach her some new techniques.... "Kiri," Greston began, "I know this is difficult for you. You have lived your life peacefully in our forest, and you have done your job, without any threats, and I was content with your abilities as far as your blessing is." Kiri looked up at him, curious.

"However, as you can very well tell, times have changed. You need to learn to defend yourself with your own abilities, not just your little pocketknife," he grinned at her. She rolled her eyes, "Thank you. What are you trying to say? Are you..?"

"Yes," Greston nodded, and he almost lost face--the sense was even stronger. They came to a small clearing. "I have decided to teach you. Inbetween your flower-picking," he teased as she bent down to grab a few bluish-green leaves, "I will teach you a few attacks that are practical. It's important--I will not lose you, Kuresai," he finished, muttering the last sentence under his breath. Kiri straightened and nodded once, showing she understood.

"Now.....Let's begin...."
