Ok, I'm going to post the reports here. I'll edit new reports into this first post when they happen.
Caith Report #1
I am an anomaly. That much I know for certain. I feel no emotion, so one would think I am a Nobody, but I am hesitant to accept this assumption as truth. A being cannot be born a Nobody, an empty shell; they must have a heart. A being without a heart is not meant to exist. My father told me stories of my Uncle Zac, a Forsaken: a being wrought from nonexistence. Perhaps I am one of them, brought about by the Nobody halves of my parents, merging into the one in a million chance of creating a being with no heart. It is this theory that has caused me to research the Forsaken, and though what I’ve learned is merely history, it has given me a better understanding of their existence.
Forsaken were once a race as prominent as humans, Nobodies and Heartless. How exactly the first of their race was created was a mystery even to the Forsaken themselves, but it is said they are, in general, created by resurrecting something that never existed. The Forsaken were slowly killed off by the other races, a death sentence given to them through jealousy and fear of their power. Enraged by the actions of the other races, the first Forsaken—whom was the last to survive—swore that one day, a new Forsaken would be born, and he would inherit, not only the conventional power of a Forsaken, but also his powers. This was more than the last, hate filled words of a fallen leader who watched his people fall. It was a spell, similar to the Keyblade inheritance ritual used by Keyblade masters. He gifted these powers to my uncle. But how is it possible that the powers of something that never should have existed be preserved? That is my next question. I will need to collect samples, to study Forsaken up close.
Caith Report #2
My studies have turned up a miraculous discovery. It alone explains so much about the Forsaken; the origin of their name, what happens when they die, how they pass on their powers.
First, I have discovered that Forsaken hearts are artificial. They do not originate from Kingdom Hearts. They have all the same powers and characteristics of a real heart, except they were never a part of Kingdom Hearts. That being said, when a Forsaken dies, it is gone for good, because it's heart is not returned to Kingdom Hearts. Hense the name 'Forsaken'; they have been rejected by Kingdom Hearts. Forgotten.
They pass their powers on, by designating them to a being that hasn't been created yet. These powers are held someplace and are put into the reciever's artificial heart upon its creation. But where are they held? And where do these false hearts go after their body is destroyed? I can only theorize, that somewhere, there is a Forsaken Kingdom Hearts. It would be ever growing in power, as it would not recycle hearts back into beings. It would hold the powers for the Forsaken and release them upon the creation of the new owner. Knowing the Forsaken however, it will not be easy to find and prove its existance.
