name: Yuki Kizamare

status: blessed by a God

personality: Yuki is always eager to help those in need (in part due to her blessing). she is quiet, and rarely raises her voice even in normal conversation. Her friendly demeanor tends to draw people to her, which is not always the best thing...

appearance:

Yuki has long black hair and very pale skin, almost white, but it is a smooth tone and you can't see any of her veins. she has ice blue eyes and bright red lips, as if she is wearing lipstick, which she isn't. she is very beautiful, and that is part of what draws people to her. she wears a white Kimono-like out fit that I'm still trying to decide how it looks.

height: 5'7

personal history: long before she was born, her father was hiking in the mountain near their home, Mt. Kousetsu, where he came upon a group of bandits harassing a young woman. Not wishing to allow the woman to be harmed he fought off the bandits and saved the woman. As he helped her and asked if she were alright, she revealed herself to be Yuki-onna, the Goddess of the mountain. In return for aiding her (though it wasn't necessary) she promised to one day return the favor.
Years later, Yuki's father and at the time pregnant (and about ready to pop a baby Yuki out) mother were traveling through the mountain when a sudden snowstorm hit. upon returning to their camp from an expidiotion into the storm to search for food, her father found her mother dead, clutching little Yuki to try to keep her warm. after covering her in as many things as he could, her father made a desperate journey into the storm with Yuki, to try to reach a town and save the only person he had left. Luckily, Yuki-onna had seen him and appeared befor them. She told him that she had decided how to thank him: she would bless him with her power. However thankful for the gift, Yuki's father pleaded with Yuki-onna to instead bless his newborn child who, regardless of if he were blessed or not, would die in the storm without it. Touched by his love, she agreed and blessed Yuki, then lead the two out of the mountains. Yuki's father named her after Yuki-onna, and often brought her up the mountain to visit the goddess who saved her. Yuki was raised mostly on the mountain with her father until he died when she was 14, after that she 'moved in' with Yuki-onna, who then told her the extent of her blessing: when Yuki-onna dies, Yuki would become the new Goddess of Mt.Kousetsu. ;D

more current history: Yuki has left Mt.Kousetsu to travel the world in order to see it before she has to take over as the new Goddess. (she's got lots of time in theory) she often sings as she walks and has been complimented on her voice several times. it is very hard for more humans to tell she is blessed.

powers: Yuki can control ice, which includes freezing water, and summoning snowstorms(an ability she is only learning) her skin is ice cold to the touch and, if she isn't monotoring it, can be so cold that it freezes the limbs right off anyone who touches her. (normaly this is a sever case and touching her skin unexpectedly will only lead to frostbite). she also has healing abilities but she is very inexperianced with them and they take a long time to work.

personality: generally benevolent, if angered or offended she can become quite terrifying

bio: Goddess of Mt.Kousetsu. She guards over her mountain and the people traveling through it. she often is seen leading lost travelers out of snowstorms and protecting lost children. She loves children and animals for their innocence and wishes humans could stay like that forever like Yuki has.(she give credit for that to herself mostly)

powers: same as Yuki's only tenfold and she can turn into mist

name: Senshin Yozora

personality: loyal and dedicated to the ones who depend on him. He has a caring yet truthful way of adressing things. if he doesn't like you, you know it, but he is still respectful to all more powerful than he is.

appearance: medium length brown hair and brown eyes. his skin is slightly tan, but it is the kind of tan you get from working in the sun. wears a traditional warriors outfit from his village wich right now in my head is something like a red sleeveless shirt tied around the waist with a sash, and black pants. he has armgaurds and shin gaurds and several other little details. I'll post a pic eventually. has a decent build, not too muscular, but enough to make you think twice about fighting him

personaly history: One day his village(Nouson) was attacked by a demon. It had only recently transformed and was weaker than it normaly would be. Senshin slayed the demon and eversince is the one his people have gone to to kill a demon, god, or blessed human who nears their town. He has no real flaws in his past, his father was a warrior who was gravely injured in battle and handicaped by another human, to whom Senshin holds no grudge, and his mother is still alive. He never has second thoughts about killing demons or their blessed humans but sometimes wonders about killing gods. Regardless, he does anyways in order to keep his village safe and happy.

weapons: he weilds the sword Gedatsu given to him by the village when he first set out to slay the demon that attacked their village and a chakram that was passed on to him by his father, who got it from his father and so on. the chakram attaches to one of his arm gaurds and acts like a boomerang when thrown



name: Mikomi Hatama

age: 20

race:human

personality: Mikomi is strong willed and serious, prefering to get down to business. Despite her hard exterior, she really can be quite funny and kind, she just prefers not to show weakness. When given a task she will always see it through.Always.

appearance: long black hair tied balck in a ponytail. light skin and piercing green eyes. she wears a more feminized samuri suit. she has very good posture

height: 5'5

personal history: Her father was known as a nobel and expert fighter, but one day, he offened the ruler of their city(Busoutoshi), who was irritable and sick due to a strange illness that had overcome him, and was banashed to a remote reigon. Determined to reunite with her father, Mikomi set out to find him, she traveled to the place of his banishment and asked locals about him, but none had heard of him. Having almost lost hope she was walking along a cliff when she say a man preparing to trow a small girl over the edge. Mikomi ran over and asked the man what he was oing and found out he was sacrificing the girl to a demon who dwelled at the bottom of the cliff. Depressed by the thought of never seeing her father again, Mikomi offered to take the place of the girl and dove off the cliff. on her way down the demon caught her and was preparing to kill her when she pulled out a dagger her father had given her for prtection and stabbed the demon repeatedly. she slayed the demon and returned to a nearby village where, already, news was spreading of her victory. back at their home city, the ruler's sudden illness vanished and it was discovered that he had been cursed by the demon Mikomi had slain. The ruler demanded that Mikomi and her father returnto the city.
Since then, Mikomi's father has trained her with a sword, having seen her natural talent. she now leads a small group of soldiers whose purpose is to search for blessed humans with the city. She is reffered to as Lady Mikomi or Lady Hatama by the people living within the city.

weapons: she carries two onimented katanas made from the bones of the demon she slayed (ironically they were a metal-like substance) and the knife she used to slay the demon with.

name: Yanaki (King of the Elk)

age: he lost count

race: God

personality: Yanaki is very fun loving and energetic. He struggles to figure out why humans fear gods so much (granted a little fear is ok, but absolute terror is just overkill) he will protect any one he is responsible for or cares deeply about. For a god, he's very laid back.

height: 6'

appearance:
human in form, he has long redish brown hair, red elk antlers and ears, and golden brown eyes. he goes around shirtless and only wears a pair of brown pants with a loose sash around his waist and a few decorative cords tied around his arm. he has a handsome face and a light tan. he is commonly mistaken for a blessed human. umm, and i don't know where else to put this so, I'll put it here: he smells like an elk and the forest (which as it turns out, is quite a pleasent smell)

personal history: Yanaki is the god/king of elk. he is not a very notable god, very few know of him. he migrates around, traveling with herds of elk (he jumps around the different herds, he doesn't like to play favorites) he only attacks humans if they threaten his elk, and in general he just likes to avoid humans. he hasn't blessed any humans, partially because he doesn't feel he is strong enough to grant a human power and partially because he doesn't want to.
he is the son of the God of gods (often just reffered to as the Forest spirit) and often makes refferences to his father. though he is not an only child, he is the only one with a general human form.

likes: tasty clovers, his elk, when humans stare at his godly physique

dislikes: hunters, demons, meat(he's a vegetarian)

fears: turning into a demon, his elk being killed,

weapon: he carries a wooden staff (known as The staff of Yanaki) than can change into whip-chain-like...chains...O.o he is an expert at martial arts

powers: he is incredibly agile(so agile in fact, his footsteps can't be felt, or heard even by the most experianced Gods) and impossible to catch, due to his speed. he can, in desperate situations, call forth the spirits of dead elk to form a heard and fight for him.

appearance: blond hair, blue eyes, fancy ninja garb...I'll get to drawing him....

bio: Another of Mikomi's top ninja. When the leader of his ninja clan was killed in battle by Mikomi, and he became the new clan leader, he swore alligance to her. He admires her skill and intellect so much that there are rumors that he has deeper feelings for her. When asked about this he simply ignores the question or answers vaguely. His clan is known for their remarkable (even for ninja) ability to blend into their surroundings without being detected. He personally is known for his dead accuracy. (you know, can pin a fly to a tree by one wing without killing it)

personality: he is a noble ninja, but won't hesitate to get you when your back is turned. His sence of duty is compareable to that of a samurai.

weapon: throwing needles, a pair of sai that can be attached to chains.

bio: He is Yanaki's older brother and Lord of the Kirin (chinese unicorns basically). he rarely leaves their birthplace in the realm of the Forest Spirit. Recent events have made it nessicary for him however to leave the forest. He is very protective of Yanaki, having been the one resposible for watching him when their father couldn't. He knows why it is Yanaki fears becoming a demon so much and would do anything to prevent that from happening. He too has not blessed anyone.

personality: very wise, demands more respect for humans that his little brother. he feels obliged to protect the innocent and can be very kind. he looks down on joking around in serious situations or about serious things.

powers: he can grow plants, heal some wounds and is very fast. it is said that seeing him (or any other kirin) brings good luck, he however has nothing to say about how accurate that is.

weight: 67 lbs

appearance: black messy hair, eyes that are so light of a blue they're practically white. basic ninja shirt and and pants that are wraped up to his knees. no shoes, just wraped feet. he wears a scraf that has a hood on it. the hood when pulled up looks like a bird head, giving him a similar appearance to Shiruba-kaze. he has one fluffy black wing on his back.

personality: slightly sadistic and power-hungry, but intelligent. his sadism and lust to be powerful aren't things that could lead to his downfall. he thinks things through thourghly before acting.

bio: he was once blessed by another demon but after hearing about Shiruba-kaze's power, he wanted to be blessed by him and to serve him, not his current demon master. He talked his old master into thinking that he could defeat Shiruba-kaze and become the most powerful demon. With his master ready to fight, he left in the night to plead with Shiruba-kaze to take him in after his current master's inevitable defeat. he realized that there was nothing that would cause Shiruba-kaze to want him, especially since his current master's blessing kept him in the state of a youg child. he knew he needed power in order to convince him that he was a worthy human. He played Shimogin in a game for his current master's power. If he had won the game, he would have gotten the demon's power then and there, if he lost he would have 48 hours to kill the demon and inherit it's powers or her would die. He purposly threw the game to get the loosing result because he thought it was better for his plan. after the game, he quickly ran to Shiruba-kaze's lair and explained to him that his master was coming to fight him and pleaded with him to take him in as his own blessed when he killed the challenger. he explained that he would obtain power from the demon if he were killed and that his innocent appearance was only a ruse. Shiruba-kaze agreed to his proposal and killed hios old master. Ever since, Fein has obediantly served Shiruba-kaze. the scarf that he wears was a gift from Shiruba-kaze to him. It is made up of feathers from Shiruba-kaze and is meant to protect Fein's face and neck from magics.

powers: from his old blessing:he doesn't age past where he is now. his skin cannot be pierced by anything. in other words, he can't be killed by weapons. (he can be killed by magics, being crushed, ingesting poison etc.)

from Shiruba-kaze: he has one wing, it hasn't yet grown enough for him to fly yet (so Kalut has to carry him) he also can't shoot feathers out of it because of this.also, because the wing hasn't grown in fully yet, he can retract it into his body, but this is very painful (though, he usually doesn't care too much) he can control black lightning magic (the difference between normal lightning and black lightning is that its stronger and can't be controled by regular lightning users) the lightning can set black fires, but he has no control over them.

she usually is wearing the mask.

personality: quiet and dedicated to her master. she will do anything for Shiruba-kaze.

bio: she is Mikomi's long thought dead little sister. She was born with the strange ability to see the truth about people when she looked at them, but she never told anyone. when she was very little,there was a demon attack on a village on the outskirts of Busoutoshi, where she lived with her family during the summer. She was there with her mother, (Mikomi and her father where elsewhere) when the demons attacked. Everyone in the village was killed except Chisume. Shiruba-kaze found her still alive, and discovered her power. he took her to his lair, blessed her and took care of her. Years later she looked at him and discovered that it had been Shiruba-kaze himself who had attacked the village. Dispite this she remained loyal to him because of the power he had given her and the mercy he had granted her. Also, she remains loyal because she is in love with him. Yeah. She hasn't told him but it is fairly obvious.
She usually doesn't fight because of her valluable powers, but instead spies on people for Shiruba-kaze.
Mikomi has no idea that she is alive, nor dose anyone else, even the ninja.

powers: She can look at people and see truths about them. (ex. who they are, what their quest is, what is their favorite color). She can also transform into a raven.

weapons: when she does fights she uses senbon.

personality: ruthless and seductive. she love to kill and rarely grants mercy.

bio: she is the essence of the evil Yuki-onna. the two were so different, they became two different beings all together. the late Yuki-onna was powerful enough to surpress her, so she resided in the depths of her consciousness in an almost sleep-like state, where she knew she was trapped, but couldn’t see what was going on outside. Esencially, she is like a second soul, trapped in Yuki-onna’s mind. When Yuki-onna died, she was transferred over to Yuki’s mind and she ‘woke up’ because Yuki didn’t know of her existence.She was still trapped in Yuki’s subconscious, so she called on Shimogin to do a deal. she won and Shimogin made her a new body out of a strand of Yuki's hair. she killed the koi god to get his powers and now here she is. She has no specific hatred for Yuki, she just wants to rid the world of Gods.

powers: she can seduce men like Yuki, and can control water. when she does this the water usually turns black. she can also use a dark healing method that heals demons and their blessed normally, but if she uses it on anyone else it will leave a curse on them. this curse will at random intervals cause them pain that starts of as a slight sting, and slowly progresses into excruciating pain. it does fade away after awhile, but the duration of it is random depending on the person.

Here's my logic. The dragon can eat you. The dragon is bigger than you, so probably has a larger, cooler laser. The dragon has a demon own. That demon owner has a demon friend. And that demon friend has kick ass blessed and a half-demon child. Thus, the dragon has back up that can kill you. Personally, I wouldn't want to mess with the dragon.
