Alrighty, I waited till most everyone else did there bios so I had something to work off of, so here I go!
Name: Matthew Blake
Age: 18
Moral Stance: Chaotic Neutral (Lol, DnD

Appearance: Matthew is pale skinned and lightly built. Not unhealthy skinny, but not very strong either, about 160~ pounds. He has black hair that is unkempt (and a lightingbolt scar. HA! Just kidding) with medium sized facial features. His eyes, however, are a bright green that glow palely in darkness, giving off an eerie look to him. Because of his power, Matthew must remain as fully covered as he possibly can at all times, leading to him wearing a black hoody and dark, faded jeans with Element brand skater shoes (He's not a skater but hey man, don't hate on the style) and some shirt underneath the hoody, probably a t-shirt or something. He also wears gloves that formfit to his hand, not reducing his dexterity by that much, but still protecting his hands. He does have a full face mask he can wear, but only wears it if he absolutely has to, otherwise he store it in a backpack he carries with him.
History: Matthew grew up in suburbia in a normal family, like most kids. However, about a year ago, shortly after the start of 12th grade, his powers began to develop. At first, it started out small, not really affecting him, but letting him do some pretty neat things (You'll see in the powers section). However, after around Christmas time, the powers began to increase in potency, possibly as a side effect to the prolonged periods of nighttime and the cold, causing Matthew to gain a weakness to bright lights. It got to the point where he had to remain covered most of the time, which isn't exactly the best way to remain inconspicuous at school.
Anyways, after he graduated, Matthew was tragically thrust out into the world after a freak accidental fire blew up his family home, killing both of his parents. Eyewitness reports however hinted that the fire may not have been entirely accidental since a figure was seen running off into the darkness after the blast, flames seeming to encoat his body. The only thing he was able to scavenge from the remains was an old family photo of the three of them before he got his powers, which he also keeps with him at all times. Now, out in the world and alone, Matthew is trying to find his place in life along with hunting down clues to the mystery person that was there when his parents died.
Powers: Matthew is essentially a living shadow. Where there are shadows, he is able to blend in with them, becoming invisible to the eye. In complete darkness or at night time, Matthew gains a sort of "power boost", receiving increased agility, strength, durability, and the power to manipulate the darkness around him, blinding enemies, attacking with unseen force, etc. As a side effect, being near Matthew when he is invisible in shadows or at night lowers the temperature around him, making a noticeable chill in the air. Matthew also took karate back throughout middle school and early high school, receiving a black belt for his efforts.

Weaknesses: First off, because of his power, Matthew has an extreme weakness to light. Just being out in the sunlight drains him, causing a reverse to the power boost night time gives him. Intense light can literally paralyze him if sustained or stun him for a second if flashed, either way burning his skin. Matthew attempts to lessen these effects with his clothing, but a smart enemy could find ways around it.
Matthew also has not actually been in any real combat experiences, so inexperience is a major weakness there. Plus, the kid is 18 years old and his parents just died less than a year ago, he has some trauma issues as well.
