The rules for the RP's
1. No god mod: Don't make characters that are all powerful and cannot ever be defeated ever. Powerful characters are ok, I myself have been known to make some boarderline godmods...everyone does it. This is a loose rule, there's a fine line between okay and god. If you are unsure just ask me, the other mods, or the others in the RP what they think.
2.No posting for other people: I know, this sounds like common sence, but it happens. post only for your characters. if someone has dropped off the face of the earth never to return, then it is perfectly fine to divide their essential character up or have others take control of them. Just, let everyone know.
3.No double posting: if you have two characters in the same area, just post for both of them on the same post and put some space between them to show that they are separate. the ONLY time double posting is ok is if no one has posted back in forever and you want to try to get the RP back up and rolling.
4.don't use chatroom talk: unless your character is acctually saying "lol" or "brb" don't use it. It's just plain out confusing otherwise.
5.try to post the character bios ahead of time: don't make a character do stuff in the RP but put up the bio once we've reached page 50 or something. We'd like to know about the character.
6.the only exception to rule 5 are:
-if the character is just there to die in like 5 posts,
-is a non-important character (like someone's mom or boss or paperboy or a shop clerk, etc.) who is only there for story line (character's such as these are commonly called 'random generic' characters)
-is a cannon character (if you're playing in an RPG with these guys, it likely everyone knows who they are. you can post mini-bios of like what they've been doing if the RPG takes place a bit in the future of the actual story it is based on.)
-or if you're simply buliding dramatic tension ;D
7. if you think of something cool that could happen, but it involves another person's character, or you want to have a character connected somehow to someone elses character, ask them first, they won't bite, this is the internet.
pretty much common sence...
