Thaddeus turns and drives up to the Castle Gate, stopping at the check point. One of the guards walks up and sees him. "Master Thaddeus, Lady Relena is here expecting you."
"Excellent. I can drive right in right?" Thaddeus says.
"Yes, move along." The gatekeeper says, letting them in.

Goltenga looks around. "How...do you do that?" He asks, curiously.

"It's just the power he was born with." Lio says "And he's good too, Pull up your sleeves pal, show 'em!"
Sairca sighs and pulls up his sleeves. there were a few knives strapped to them, but otherwise bare.
"Wait...how does he launch the knives? there's no machine?!" someone says
"He uses his mind. and makes the sound himself! Do it Sairca!"
the sound of hissing steam like everyone had thought his 'knife launcher' had made goes off with nothing happening. "Tada..." he adds lathargically.

"I suppose it is." Thaddeus says as he pulls up tot he front gates and gets out.
"Sir, you can't park here." One of the guards says.
"Key is in the ignition, move it where you need to. One scratch and someone gets a free gender change." Thaddeus says. "Come Adris. we have business to finish."

Adris nods and follows. I'm going to meet Lady Relena...I need to remember to be extra polite with her, I've heard rumors...vicious lies of course but she might be insulted if she thinks I believe them. he thinks.

Lenny's eyes glow with happieness "We should go before we get caught!"
"Hey, what about the tr-WHERE'D THE TRUCK GO?!" Lio turns around and looks. the truck had vanished, but there were several of Lenny's small bots flying around, some with what looked like car parts.
"Taken care of! Only some of the truck was real truck! Silly human..." Lenny laughs

"Oh my, you are a curious unit aren't you? I am...still finding your lack of design purpose...confusing. To be so...free..." Goltenga thinks. "It is confusing."

"Milady is up ahead. Please remember manners. Milady has issues." Thaddeus says. "Temper issues."
"Thaddeus, what is going ON?" Relena says as she sees him walking up. "The Duke and General killed by vagrant children...how does that happen?"
"Their skill belies their age Milady. Under better circumstances you'd consider them for your forces." Thaddeus says. "They managed to wound me and take Goltenga. Proof enough there."
"WHAT? THEY TOOK GOLTENGA FROM YOU?" Relena yells.
"It's under control. Making him comply will prove difficult...forgetting my lack of mercy even more." Thaddeus says.

"Really?" Lio asks with surprise.
"What do you expect Lio? The Empire spreads messages of inferiority and lies of inevitable hopelessness to them. Verbal shackles that lock them into a mindset that they are destine to be slaves." Sairca says, with disgust. he glances at the several dropped jaws of his companions "What? Just because I never talk I can't say a complete sentence?"

"But a message can only have an effect if it is told. If a belief is simply formed of ignorance one can believe anything based on simple lack of information." Goltenga says. "No one..really talked to me much on anything and whenever I asked the former Master he said it was none of my business."
Some of them were looking at him funny. "I read that in a book once."

"I..have..a date tonight." Thaddeus says cautiously.
"About time. You'll have to tell me about that later." Relena smiles. "Come with me. Uncle is waiting."

"Wow..." Arcke said after listening to Sairca."Well that's...Jack?"
Arcke looked around for Jack. It took a moment but he found him.
Jack was away from the group, on a rather scenic looking hill, the wind blew his hair as he read the letter he had received from Lenny.
Dear brother,
It has been far too long since we have seen each other. Every day away from you and our siblings seems to take an eternity. I saw you and your group today in the village. It is funny how fate made us be in the same place and never meet. I've made arrangements to leave to another town after this. I've secured a position there to keep myself safe, as you asked. the SPSRL who gave you this is Lenny, I'm sure you remember him. He has sworn to protect us, but I fear with the mischief you are getting into, especially after today, you need him more than I. So I've sent him to watch after you. He knows not to speak of our secret, and plans to take you to Sektora, in case he didn't say. Plead with their King for assistance, and good luck brother. Stay safe.

Goltenga would gulp if he had a throat. "Ok." He crab walks he was out form behind the truck and stands there a moment. "We're going....that....way." He nervously takes a tiny step forward. He then looks around. "Ok...not a bad thing." He then takes a bigger one.

Adris follows, his heart beating from excitement about getting to meet the emperor.

"Milord, Lady Relena comes with news on the assassination." a messenger says and bows.
"Do you wish me to go Sire?" Latalia asks him.
"No. This will likely end up concerning you and the task I have given you." Eldrast says from the throne he sat in. he stares at the door, awaiting Relena's enterance.

Relena walks up with Thaddeus and Adris in tow. "Uncle, I have brought Thaddeus who was on site during the incidents. He has a full report ready for you." Relena says as she bows.
Thaddeus drops down on one knee. "My Liege." He says, head lowered and waiting permission to speak.
