"Sewers, huh? I don't know, Shepard said there could be survivors in the garage...," James said worryingly. He didn't want to leave behind anyone to just die to the zombies. However, looking out the window again showed that there were just too many zombies out there to guarantee a safe trip to the garage and then to the sewers.
"Damn zombies are the only thing that's messing up either plan...here, I'll try and get in contact with Shepard again." Pulling out his radio, he said through it, "Shepard, do you read? This is Pvt. Ryan! Look, there are too many zombies out on the street for us to be able to make it to the garage and then safely evacuate any survivors to the sewers! We could either go the sewers ourselves or wait for you to get to the garage and then cover you as you take any survivors to the sewers. Whatever works for you sir, over."

Virgils radio didn't make a sound.
Virgil swept his pistol over the hall way and smiled when it was clear. He kept moving towards the next stairwell, and he found himself lucky, when he found no zombies.

"Dammit, I'm getting nothing still!" Stowing the radio, he said to them, "Looks like we're just going to have to make it to the sewers then." With that he opened the door and wasted a few zombies near the building with quickly bursts from his M-16.

Virgil lowered hi pistol and entered the adjourning room. It was a break room. It was clear, and he saw another note.

Shepard turned around and grimaced at the body in the corner of the room. It held a picture in its hand. He grabbed it, and looked at the smiling blonde woman, the blue eyed baby and the man who now sat on the floor. His temple held a hole in it. The weapon and ammo was gone from the obvious marine.
" Shit....504th..what the hell they were dropped in the docks..." he grabbed his radio, still uncertain if the messages were getting across.
" Ryan....dont go near the sewers. not creature free...dont go."
(OOC what Ryan would hear is____ go *static* the sewers. *static*creature free....*static*GO!!!"

Ryan suddenly heard from his radio, "go *ksssh* the sewers. *ksssh*creature free...*ksssh* GO!!!"
"Alright then. Come on guys! Shepard wants us to go to the sewers!"
Nailing a few more zombies in the head, he moved quickly to the sewer line in the street. "Hunt, cover me while I get this damn plate off."
Hunt nodded and blasted 2 zombies away with shots from his shotgun.

Virgil hoped the message had been clear, or else they were in for some trouble. He exited the room and ran down the hall, he stopped into a office and found it empty.
"Guess they never got this far up." he said thinking about the zombies down below. A small creak made him fall to one knee and he spun with his shotgun in one hand and his pistol in the other. A woman stood between both his weapons, with a knife to his throat. Her Uniform was familiar.
"Pvt. Dow?" he said in disbelief.
"Shepard...."she said aghast.

Getting the cap off of the sewer entrance, James yelled to Hunt and Sara, "Come on! Into here, quickly!" Covering them as the crawled down the ladder, Pvt. Ryan nailed a few more zombies before his clip ran out. Ejecting the cartridge, he grabbed the cap, hopped onto the sewer ladder, and put the cap over his head, shutting them in darkness as they continued down into the sewers.

she threw her arms around her supirior officer, and cried a little.
"I thought I was the last one left....Richardson....he killed himself. He left me alone." she said through the tears.
"Don't worry Amy...I'm here for you. We are getting out of here. Don't worry okay."

Descending into the sewers, James, Bobby, and Sara looked around in the pitch black darkness of the sewer line. Water still flowed, but without people to actively use it, it was mainly just small streams from rain drainage and broken fire hydrants...along with spilled blood.
"This place is down right creepy...," James said, turning on a flashlight he kept in his pack to look around. "Make sure that ammo stays dry. It'll be useless to us wet. Who knows what might be down here."

The creatures in the sewers heard the grate come down. They smelled the fresh flesh, they began running towards the smell. 16 Hunters began running as hard as they could.

"Do you guys hear something?," Bobby asked.
Looking around with his flashlight, James replied, "I don't see any-," but was cut short when he saw the hunters moving down the sewer line at them. "Holy shit! We've got incoming!" Pulling out his M16, he stuck in another clip and began firing bursts at the hunters, aiming for the head.

bobby took out his shotty and did the same thing as james firing a barrage of shot gun shells at them.

One of the hunters went down in the barrage of fire but then the creatures stopped. each one then split from the group and ran into different tunnles. Leaving the survivors in the dark, but hearing their roars.
"Fuck"Sara said as she inched closer to Ryan.

James' eyes looked around. He moved his flashlight around them to see if there were any tunnels the creatures could come out of.
"Bobby, keep an eye out. I don't want any of these things getting near us." Grabbing the bag, he slung it over his shoulder. "Come on, we're moving out. We stay in this place and we're dead. There's probably another exit out of here somewhere, we find that and we get out of this hellhole."
