Lorel sighs with frustration and jogs over to the Sentinel "What, tapping my head wasn't a clear indicator I needed to talk?" he laughs "Arque and Jenyfer can handle Hemos, we should get the rest of these civilians out and blockade the enterances to the square, in case he tries to run off."

Hemos screamed and turned as the Elete marched in. Arque drew his blade and quickly jumped at Hemos. Before hitting the ground, he slashed Hemos three times, knocking him backward into the ground.
Jenyfer ran forward in front of Arque as he landed. She began whispering strange words.
Hemos slowly stood up, entranced by the words Jenyfer spoke.
"Bring the assualt van!" Arque yelled. Another Elete soldier drove over a van. Arque opened the back door as Jenyfer led an entranced Hemos into the back.
"Alright, bring it back to base..." Arque shouted at the driver. Other Elete were already moving the large crystal pieces into other vans. Arque smiled.
"We have done a good job..." Arque smiled.
Jenyfer sighed and stretched again. Her clothes glowed and change back to a simple greyish silver Elete jumpsuit.
"Welllllllll now what?" She asked.
"We find out who put up a fight..." Arque spoke.

Celestian World:Hall of Council
Syvrian ran into the Hall of Council. She bowed before the Council of Elders.
"Syvrian from the house of Levai,reporting before the Council." She spoke formally.
"Yes Syvrian...It is good to see you. We have called you before the Council with dire news. A planet has recently been attacked...possibly by its own inhabitants...Another crystal has fallen." A councilman spoke.
Syvrian nodded. She knew about this planet, she was familiar with most of their worlds, but this one was particulary special to her.
"We need you to examine this planet. We need specific,up-to-date information on the situation of the planet. Dnavdo has failed to report back...we must assume something has happened to him. Try to find his whereabouts, he may help you determine the situation on the planet." A councilwoman spoke.
Syvrian again nodded.
"You are dismissed, move out immediately."
Syvrian walked away, but turned."Sir?"
"You are dismiss, Syvrian."
"Yes."She sighed." Members of the Council, I would like to bring my pupil, Selvie of the house of Levai with me on this journey. She has yet to gain any otherworld experience. She has much training to become a crystal-former, and I believe this experience to be important to her." Syvrian spoke honestly.
"So be it, bring her if you must. You are dismissed."
Syvrian walked out quickly.She went of into the rest of the Celestian city to find Selvie.

"hmmm!" Lorel says surprised "That was easier than I thought...." Arque said if he destroyed the crystal, Hemos wouldn't put up too much of a fight but this was unbelievable... "Sentinel, did you see who that light hit? from where we were it was too crowded to see. I was going to check out servailence tapes but if you saw whoever it was it'd be easier to pinpoint them." he asks pleasently.
Upper Geno, Crytec Building, Fleur residence
Acacia watches her tv as the other took care of Hemos. she stands up and flips her hair "Time for my part." she heads toward the elevator and get's in her limo for the press conference.

Back in his home, Weyerhausen spots her leaving the facility, knowing full well what these "press conferences" will usually entail. "Oh, boy, this isn't goin to be pretty. I wonder how they plan on covering their asses for much longer when they continue to pull their own rug from underneath them."

Anabara Desert, Abandoned Sand Wurm Den
Maverick and the gang arrived about as quickly as he had hoped. Sure enough, signs of the gangs arrival there were obvious enough...including their bodies.
"I...but...there was just garbage only a half 'our ago...," Willace said nervously.
"What'ya talkin' about Willace? Those 're dead bodies there!," Maverick said with annoyance. "Just who went and took matter in their own hands? These guys are ours to handle..."
"It's ok Maverick, at least this way we don't have to worry about casualties," Sierra said matter-of-factly. "Let's just go in and see if we can find some clues as to what happened here."
"Hopefully it wasn't a sand wurm that wasn't quite done with it's nest...," said one of the other gang members.
"I sure wouldn't want to mess wit one o' those!," commented another.
"Relax. I doubt anything like that is in there.," said Maverick.
Moving together, they entered the dark, dry passage way that was "Los Banditos" prior getaway den.

Upper Geno, Crytec Headquarters, front enterance
Acacia steps out of her limo and walks over to the podiums set up for her. She ignores the camera flashes and questions from journalista that were already flooding her. she keeps up a sad expression as she stands in front of them "Ladies and Gentlemen, a few moments ago, a terrible iccedent occured. The crytal in Geno city square was destroyed by a horrible monster. This monster, deemed Hemos, was discovered by Crytec scientists. Due to its danger, we captured it so it would not be capable of harming anyone. Unfortunatly, members in charge of its security were asulted and Hemos was released upon the city. We believe that the people who assulted our men and released Hemos, mabey even commanded him, were none other than the terrorist organization the Nachtbarons. We are investigating this further as I speak. she takes a pause "What has happened today will forever be ingrained in our memories as a dark day. With hope, Crytec's developing Crystal synthesis may be able to repair our beloved crystal, until then, the pieces will be stored in the highest security safe Crytec has in posession. The city of Geno wishes me to notify all citizens that until further notice, the city Square will be blocked off in order to repair damages." she says and leaves the podium.
Aurik's van
Aurik shakes his head at the press conference which he had playing on a small tv on the front of his van. "So, they blame the Nachtbarons...doesn't that ever get old?" he sighs.

Then we can bring them in, that Gaurdian didn't summon fully, it makes me wonder why the light would go to someone in the streets and wouldn't just fade..." he says. he looks at a Tv bilboard that was broadcasting Acacia's press conference "Good, a fast responce. She's brilliant, really is." he says "Well, shall we get back to headquarters?"

Aurik raises an eyebrow "Really? Hmmm, you are young, I guess you wouldn't worry yourself with politics. The Nachtbarons are an anti-Crytec organizaion. You see, Crytec isn't the innocent betterment of the world corporation it claims to be, they experiment on people, mostly untouchables from lower Geno."
"I resent that classification!" Kyreins hand pops up and points upward "I'll have you know, nothing bad happens when you touch us....that's a--oh geez...." he grabs his head "I feel funny...."
"Sorry, I don't usually use that word, he just wouldn't understand otherwise." Aurik explains.

Annabara Desert, Inside the Sand Wurm's Den
The inside of the den was a mess. Blood splattered the walls next to rumpled up bodies. Weapons laid on the ground all over.
"At least there's some free ammo.," said one of the gang members.
"And we didn't even have to fight for it!," commented Willace.
"Keep yourselves aware people. Whatever got these guys might still be in here...," Sierra said with experience. She and Maverick had gotten into some pretty tight spots before, so she knew just how quickly a situation could turn for the worse.
Working their way deeper into the cavern, they eventually heard the sound of gunfire.
Willace quickly pointed out, "That there sounds like gunfire!"
"Thanks captain obvious...," a more stuck up member of the group said.
"Obvious or not, get ready. We're heading in and finishing up that fight.," commanded Maverick. He'd finally found a fight and he wasn't about to pass up a chance to get in on the action. Pulling out his double Peacemakers, he led the rest of the gang towards the source of the shots, making sure to keep an eye out for any surprises along the way.

Annabara Desert, Inside the Sand Wurm's Den
Clear reloaded his Raven pistols. In the dark of the caves he could not really see what had attcked him and his team. His light had fallen and broke on a rock outcropping.
"Dang thing, wonder who else is left." He holstered his pistols into his hip holsters and and grabbed his rifle off his back.
He adjusted his collar and fixed his Hat.

Annabara Desert, a little bit in front of the Sand Wurm's den
Deus walks casually throught the sand, playing his violin, followed by a procession of wild Anabara Hares, who seemed to enjoy the music. not an unusual sight for anyone who knew him, but for the random passer by, his actions were....strange. He knew that the sight of a random man playing the violin in the middle of a desert was not something one sees everyday, and that's why he did it. he ponders this as he walks. He had no reason for being there other than...no, there was no reason, he was just there.
he stops in front of the den and opens one eye to look at it. "Bodies...." he mutters as he continues to play. the hares shiver and run away when he stops in front of the den, sensing danger within. Deus finishes his song and listens into the den "Gunshots....."

The Sand Wurm, or at least he assumed it was the sand wurm, slammed him into the wall of the cave. His hat dropped and he didn't bother looking in the dark. He ran through another tunnel and he slid on his knees when he heard another pulse of sound, which ment that the creature had swung at him again.
"This would be alot more fun if I could see it." he said as he got up and ran. He spun around and jumped/flippedsideways while shooting his pistols. His guns emptied and he slammed down on his knees. He aimed both guns towards where he had been shooting and smiled.
"Firaga!!"he yelled and a large ball of fire shot out from the ends of his guns. The cave was illuminated and he saw the creature that was chasing him.

Deus feels the vibrations of the sand wurm moving "someone's playingwith a sand wurm....not too bright of an idea...." he muses. he walks over to a rock and sits on it. "They'll come out eventually...." he continues to play a slow and dreamy song; his theme. I don't know why I'm so interested....perhapse I'm bored? he thinks, unsure if he was really bored or not.
