Zog turns his head. "Insinuate that Mom's lying again and I'll REALLY make you wish you were dead."
"ZOG!!" Sevena says. "BACK DOWN."
Zog turns back and storms off ahead.
"Watch your choice of words around him, and if you try to get him mad enough to kill you in a rage I'll show you that a man can survive being skinned alive." Sevena says. "I can take such uninformed comment my way but no one messes with my babies. Not even family."

Gardos just looks at his feet. He didn't say anything, but it was evident that he was beating himself up on the inside from his expression.
