Luca readies to defend Travis, watching for demons.
Airou readies himself and runs at a demon to start attempting to kill them before they got to the girls.

A demon circles around Noctis and head right between Airou's legs, heading right for Aikia.

Airou swings his blades behind him to try and chatch the demon, but of course misses. he wips around with a bit of a panic and chases after it. He knew he couldn't catch up with the demon, but he had to do something to protect her. He instinctively hooks his blades together and whips them out at the demon. The swords' range was far too short, however bright yellow streams of magic spiral around them from his hand. At the end of the blades, a circle of glowing runes forms and the spirals take the form of feathers. the feathers fly at the demon. some attack the demon, while others arc around it and form a barrier between it and the girls.
Airou realizes what he had done and looks at his hand with some shock.

Jirek pauses upon seeing what Airou did. "Animus magic?"
However that pause allowed a surge of demons to advance on the group.
"AIROU!!" Aikia calls out.
Just then a large form flies past her, heading for the surge.
"DUCK!!" A little girls voice calls out as a massive yellow wings being opens his mouth and fires a blast a them so strong that it punched through the wall behind them.
"Sorry I'm late." Kanard says. "I got distracted for a second. Gamuldar's sorted himself out."
"Argus, forgetting our meeting for a woman now are you?" A bald elf says as he notches an arrow. "Glad to see you're coming out of your shell my son."
"About time you three got here Sirel. Just in time for the party." Argus says. "But can you stop calling me that? i know it's a cleric thing but it's...weird."

Shaylin smiles at the reinforcements.
Airou blinks and looks at the demons, before looking at his arm again. he could see a very faint glow coming off it that looked like some sort of armor. he wipes his arm on his side, as if it would help. "what is this...." he mutters. "No...I don't have time for this..."
"Yo! Airou, keep that up it seemed to do a lot!" Ulf calls to him. he gives him a thumbs up, trying to encourage him.

"Hey you." The winged being says, looking at Airou. "Stop standing around, there are things to hit here."
"Be nice Bulfoon." A small Barilli girl hangings off his back says.
"Sorry Kika." Bulfoon says before stomping on one of the creatures.

Airou tries to snap out of it and nods "Right...right." he says and readies his swords. he charges at one of the creatures and slashes at its eye, however his blades left the runes in their path and light burst from them. He shakes his head, having no idea how he was even using magic, let alone how to stop, it was just happening. he looked very uncomfortable and nervous.

Travis reaches the crystal and prepares to swing, but a mass of the shadow creatures rushes him.
Aikia begins to cast a spell but Thimos stops her. His sword was glowing. "Your love isn't the only on awakening to power."
He sword surrounds him with light, keeping the creatures at bay as Travis cuts his sword into the crystal.

Airou returns to Aikia's side after defeating the demon. He still seemed worried about the magic, and kept trying to hold it back.

As the light clears two people were in the spot of the crystal. One was Travis, but he looked slightly different. The other, was a massive looking demon. He spreads his wings and lets out a bellow as he stretches. "Ahhh...it is good to be back." "My Lord, what of the shadows?" Travis asks. "Ah, them. Dispatch them before they try and kill us." The demon says. "As you wish." Travis gets up and turns, pointing his still glowing sword at them. "Drown in light Hellspawn." He swings his sword and a wave of the light from before shoots, out, vaporizing all in it's path. The ones on the other side leap for the Demon. "Oh please..." Like it was nothing the Demon opened his mouth and incinerated the remaining shadows in a fiery blast. Thimos drops to his knees. "Father." |

Ulf looks at Travis "...he did something with his hair...." he mutters to Jirek.
Airou looks at the demon Thimos had called father. "Great...he is intimidating." he thinks. he puts away his swords. he notices that the glow was back and sort of moving around his body. "God dammit...not now...I don't need this now...I need to be focused so I don't screw up something with Aikia's father...I don't need this magic crap...how can I even use this? Get a hold of yourself Airou...stop it...stop, stop." he concentrates, trying to stop the glowing.

"He's done more than that. He is now one with the spirit within his blade." Thimos says as he rises. "But enough of that. Gentlemen and ladies, my Father. Nostroth, the Devil King."
"I see that stick's still wedged up your ass son." Nostroth cracks his neck. "Ahhh...I had hoped you'd have worked on that. As for you my daughter..." He holds his arms open. "C'mere kid and give your old man a hug."
Aikia rushes over to Nostroth and hugs him. "Oh Daddy, I missed you."
Nostroth smiles as he hugs her. For a while he just shuts his eyes and hugs her. But when he opens them. "Honey, why does that animus boy look like he's going to have a heart attack?" He says, seeing Airou.

Airou looks at him. He musters up all his mental strength and pushes aside his confusion. He crosses his arm over his chest and bows to him "I am Airou Skycrest, and I'm a human not an...animus." he inhales "And I'm your daughter's boyfriend, Sir." he says

"Your magic, it resembles Animus magic, forgive me for...what did you say?" Nostroth caches that last bit. "Boyfriend? You?"
"Daddy, let me explain..." Aikia begins to say but Nostroth puts a finger to her mouth.
"This is between him and I." Nostroth walks towards Airou. "Who do you think you are....being all panicky like that? No one dating my girl is going to be spineless when it comes to dealing with me. Say that with more pride damn it."
Thimos smirks. "Told you so."

Airou relaxes and smiles "Yes sir. Sorry I'm...a bit off from this magic thing...this..." he looks at his arm as the glowing passes over it for a moment "shouldn't be happening..." he says.
