Ulf steps through after them and looks around until he spots Airou. he grins "Well well well."
Airou gets up and smirks. he takes a step closer to Ulf and for a moment the two just look each other over. They then both come at each other and lock hands in a sort of mid-air arm wrestle, while patting the other's back happily. "Ulf! Good to see you breathing!" Airou laughs
"Yeah you too!" Ulf laughs "Who's taller now pipsqueak?"
"Yeah yeah, shut up you brute!" Airou grins "Where've you been? Living with the local lizard men I hear? We got to get you home at sometime, boy. You may have been gone but as a Skycrest you still need to go through the challenges, kiddo'." he teases.
"Hey, you may have your marks, but I've got the ones that really mean something!" Ulf says, and shows off a few scars.
"I've got those too!"
"Oh, I'm sure." Ulf rolls his eyes. he grabs Airou's face and pulls his hair out of it to look at his tatoos "God Airou! Didn't think people would believe you were a man without going all out on the tats? There's more ink on your face than in all the books I've read!."
"So that's not much." Airou smirks, then struggles at Ulf tries to put him in a head lock.
Mora chuckles at their exchange, clearly they were close.

"Yeah! Way to be insensitive Airou! He's my family too now you know!" Ulf says with a smirk as he finally gets him in a head lock.
Airou laughs a little "Sorry, I'm still shakey on the specific names of races here." he says as he slips out of Ulf's grasp. "I didn't mean to offend."

"Huh?" Airou looks a bit confused
"There it is! Ahh, the naive blank stare of Airou, good to see somethings don't change." Ulf smirks "So how are the others doing?"
"Fine. Lakyri was trained in stealth with Claire, Jagi chose a whip and Octavia punching knives." Airou says "Lakyri is as energetic as ever and is dating Prince Ammon. Claire is still so relaxed it's ridiculous...Jagi is still a pain in my ass...Octavia still violent. Your parents will be happy to see you."
"Well no kidding, I'd hope so." Ulf says "What about your old man?"
"As 'all-business' as ever." Airou says with a sigh.
Ulf smirks "Well, one thing has definately changed."
"What?" Airou asks
"You didn't mention your big brother once. You get over worshiping him?" Ulf chuckles. he stops though looking at Airou's expression "What is it?"
"He's dead. Came over to look for you guys and got killed by an animal..." Airou says.
Ulf frowns and hisses "What ssort of animal? Airou look at me!" he snaps and looks him in the eyes "We will hunt down whatever killed him. I sswear it! No one messesss with our nessst. Right Kurak?"

"No...that's ok, both of you. It's as I said earlier, I don't want to become what I hunt." Airou says "I'd rather not know, because if I did I'd go crazy trying to find an animal that's likely already dead."
Ulf doesn't look happy, but he nods "Alright...I can respect that."

Ulf nods. He looks at Airou, and the Aikia. "Well, hey it's good to see you found a girl that can tolerate you." he says "What'd you do to her to make that happen?" he asks to try and lighten the mood again.

Aikia kisses Airou on the cheek. "That is he, and a consummate gentleman."
"So Rondar, we're about to attack Melgeth's camp and liberate some slaves. I was wondering if we can ask for your help." Noctis says.
"It's a trap." Rondar says. "Yesterday we encountered the bulk of Ildor's forces, some coming from there. Though I do not think some returned, notable absences bothered me."
"You think they're there?" Karn says.
"Dahak said he was coming and going from there. Roylan wasn't there either. He doesn't usually stray from his Masters side." Rondar says.
"Shit..." Noctis says.

"But they wouldn't expect us either." Karn gets up and looks at Rondar. Rondar simply nods, knowing his intent. "Give me five minutes." Karn steps past his guests and goes outside. "ALRIGHT YOU LILLY LIVERED PUKES, GET UP!! WE GOT US A VICTORY TO CLAIM!!"
"He always talk to his men like that?" Noctis asks.
"He's earned the right and non take offense. Most of us were ex bandits, soldiers and mercs." Rondar says.

"right, so is they'll have traps set if they know we're coming...how do we combat that?" Ulf asks.
Airou thinks "Aikia...you said you can summon the dead right? Is there anyway you could summon enough to send a wave through to trigger the traps so none or little of our men get ensnared?"
