"Unless Gabe's theory from earlier about not needing to merge because you've become individuals is true," Cayne piped up, remembering the earlier conversation. The thought of Id having stronger, more murderous powers was terrifying, but once more he would panic later, after the situation was calmer. He could focus on his own fears later. "If that's really the case, that's one less thing to worry about," He mused, rubbing a hand over his choker.

"You'll be fine. It was a lie." Pandora says. "You were told you had a 5 year lifespan beyond separation to make you want to merge. Id went and fucked that up so I'm blowing that on earlier than instructed by...original you."
"Wha...then..." Gabriel says.
"You're three people and after 5 years you'll remain people....forever. The one that dies then is the true Gabriel Smith that you sprang from. Spoilers are now over...Sorry." It seems she wasn't apologizing to anyone in the room when she said that.

"Then what was this all for?" Gabriel says.
"The answer that you three need. It's better than a stray thought altering the universe as we know it." Pandora says.

Cayne sighed in relief at Pandora's words, because the knew knowledge helped a lot. He really liked knowing his friends weren't going to die in a few years, because he didn't know how he'd handle that. "Well that's good." He paused, "Should we tell Gabe?"

Cayne nodded, figuring that if Gabriel wasn't worried, then it meant Gabe would probably be able to keep the others calm as well. "Well that works." He paused, "I'm all for relaxing and food, but should we get going?" He asked after a moment, "I mean..." If Id was now even stronger, and he and Tao were likely to go after their grandfather sooner rather than later, it would be a good idea. He didn't want to waste time if they didn't have to, after all Daisuke had agreed to help them.

Cayne nodded, picking something that he thought looked good. "Chiharu, is there any chance you see something that could be useful?" He asked, unsure of how her powers worked but figuring it wouldn't hurt to ask. With all that had happened in the past few days, he thought some insurance could go a long way.
