((OOC: So everyone is certain, this is that little chunk of land touching Galiere on the other side of the mountains. Near the Academy where Rhis basically got mugged by Ol's guy ^^. It is also the direction aura's Prince was heading.))
Rhia sits up and stares in the direction the man had gone. She shook slightly from shock. "So easily...he took it so easily..." she thinks, slightly horrified by the man's power. Who was he? And why was he after the Fire Emblem piece? None of that really mattered. He had ripped it from her. Her teacher had chosen the wrong person to guard it, and had died in vain.

Carefully, Valek and his group moved through the forest. Ogden was at the head, while Cliff and Russel guarded Valek on the sides. Valek walked beside Jessica, who clung to her Heal staff tightly.
The Forest was dense and slowed the mounted Ogden,Russel, and Cliff greatly. They pushed their horses forward, searching for the sounds of the battle. While it had not sounded serious, Valek's group was sure to be careful.
"Sire! There is someone up ahead." Ogden spoke quietly. He drew his Steel Poleax and moved forward slightly.
Valek took a deep breath. He had hoped to avoid combat altogether, but he was ready to fight for his home.
Cliff looked ahead farther than Ogden could see past a large tree. "Sir it appears to be a woman..."
Ogden nodded. "Alright, Russel, Jessica. Come with me. Cliff stay here with Valek until we know it is safe." Ogden and Russel pushed their horses forward, while Jessica brought up the rear.

Rhia suddenly jumps, hearing someone coming. It sounded like multiple people. She presses herself against the tree behind her, still too scared to get up and see who it was. "Is...is it him? Did he come back? Or send men to get me? You would think he would...I've seen his face...I know he stole it....That must be it...He's sent men to kill me, or collect me... she pulls her knees in close to her body. "Christophe...where are you?" she sniffs. her bag was still a few feet away from her.

Ogden and Russel exited from around a large tree, Jessica followed behind Russel.
"Hold." Ogden said to his group as he looked over Rhia from a distance.
"Who are you, Sage? So far from a civilized place, what is your business in these thick woods." Ogden asked with an air of authority.
"I...I think she is hurt.." Jessica said as she peered around Russel's horse.
"I know, but let us see if she is friend or foe before we begin to treat any pains of hers..." Ogden whispered back.

Rhia jumps a little and looks at them. They didn't look like people who would work for someone like that man. She gets a better look at Ogden, and realizes he was from Galiere, they all were. "Refugees from the attack? Already?" she thinks. "I...my name is Rhia...from Celeol Academy...I..." she tears up "Please help me."

Ogden quickly rushed over, and dismounted. Russel and Jessica did as well, albeit slower.
"What's wrong? Is something the matter?" Ogden glanced over at Russel. "Grab her bag." Russel nodded and rushed over to get her supplies.
"Do you need healing, ma'am?" Jessica asked Rhia as Ogden attempted to help her up.

"He...he took it....I was told to keep it safe and he just...took it." Rhia says "I..am fine...a man, he was a myrmidon he...he's stolen..." she looks at Ogden pleadingly "Please, you must take me to see the King of Alba. You...you're refugees right? You're heading there anyways? Please, it won't be long before he realizes it would have been wiser to kill me, if I go alone...I'm sure I'll be killed. And the King must know..." she sobs.

"Someone took something from you?" Ogden asked. "You're heading to Abyga to tell the Chancellor about this?...What did you lose that is this important?" Ogden asked suspiciously.
"It'd be rough heading through these forests, then the mountains all the way to Abyga..." Russel sighed as he handed Rhia's bag back to her.
Ogden nodded. "Yes...The Paenian Mountains are dangerous and vast, but I know off a few passes...Now, what is so important you must tell the Chancellor?"

"The man who attacked me...the item he stole from me was the Fire emblem piece of Alba!" Rhis says "I have to inform the King-...Chancellor. I'm sorry...I...I have been here training for some time but, Alba is not my home country, so I'm not well versed in their politics. I'll be honest with you, and I hope I can gain your trust and aid in doing so...I am from Maltorin...and I'm sorry for the attack on your homeland...I...don't know what the King is thinking...but please, I beg you not to let that influence you...I have to make it to Abyga." she says, slowly realizing it might have been better to lie.

"Maltorin..." Russel made it sound like a curse. Ogden cut him off quickly, with a slight glare.
"I think this is something...Prince Valek needs to hear." Ogden said rising. "Your Majesty!" The wise old man shouted.
From the tree line came Cliff and Valek.
"Your Majesty. This woman is a Maltorin sage. She said that she had been training in Alba before the attack...She claims that she had the Alba Fire Emblem piece...but that it was stolen. Now she seeks to head to Abyga and inform the Chancellor." Ogden explained.
Valek looked slightly surprised. He walked over to Rhia and looked her in the eye.
"Explain to us why you had the piece...Why does a Maltorin Sage claim she had the Alba Fire Emblem Piece stolen from her? I do not mean to accuse you, this just is a confusing situation..." Prince Valek explained to Rhia.

Rhia nods, she felt a wave of guilt and sorrow when Russel said the name of her homeland. It hurt to have it said in such a hateful tone. "I'm a bit confused about it all as well...I, was at the Academy, and my old teacher came up to me. He gave me a parcel and told me to run with it. He, spoke urgently so I did as he said. It wasn't until I was out of the campus that I looked at it and realized what it was...I ran with it and a man chased me. I tried to fight him off but...he was so strong...it was inhuman..." she says saddly "I...should have gone after him...my teacher, I bet the man was chasing him too...I'm certain he is dead...I should have chased him...and now Alba's Fire Emblem piece is in some strange man's hands..." she pauses, then suddenly looks up "wait....Prince?"

"Yes. I am Prince Valek. I seek an audience with the Chancellor as well. We will need his help if I am to regain my homeland. This event only pushes us harder. We must head to Abyga." Prince Valek spoke eagerly.
"The only problem we may face is that of an obvious trap. Maltorin knows of our alliance with Alba. The next place they will strike is most likely Alba, if they have not already been attacked..." Ogden spoke gravely.
"Then we must hurry!" Russel shouted, eager to head out and fight.
"I will not lead us into an unknown situation, that could be harmful to his majesty. If Alba is already under attack, we must think of another place to take his majesty..." Ogden spoke with his deep voice of authority.

Vergil darted through the forest, making his way back towards Maltorin. He had ran into the men Xryec had sent to grab Alba's Fire Emblem and had used them for a specific purpose: a distraction. It mattered not to him now whether they survived their encounter with the old man who had given that girl the piece or if they died to the academy guard; he had his prize.
He examined the artifact in his position as he ran, looking over it's details and designs. It's funny how something so small could hold the power to seal a follow of Kaosugi and seal the God of Chaos himself. He placed the Fire Emblem into one of his coat pockets and looked back ahead. The sooner he was out of Alba, the better.

"She may have a point Ogden..." Cliff adressed the group."With Maltorin busy trying to get a hold of Galiere, we might have a chance..."
Valek nodded."Ogden...this must be done...For Rhia, and for Galiere. We must head to Abyga, and seek out their support."
Ogden sighed."It's risky, Your Majesty...but I will follow your orders and protect you until my last breath. Come let us ride."
Ogden gestured and Valek jumped on to Ogden's horse. Jessica jumped on to Russel's horse.
Cliff gestured down to Rhia."Care for a ride?"
