Avelon stopped talking, the creature Relena had brought with her, Torvak, was no more. Someone had killed him.
"Ah darling, you're awake. I'm waiting...." he said not looking at her.
"The help will be here momentarily. You were so scared...you were shaking. It was sweet. I shall return." He said turning to her and vanishing slowly.
He appeared where Torvaks life had seemingly died away. Ice covered the floor, and within seconds he could make out most of the crab creatures body. The ice suddenly melted, and the chunks of the creature quickly turned gray, before turning to stone.
"Ah yes...the outsiders....we seem to have a spy amongst us. Find who did this." Avelon said to seemingly nobody.
From behind him, Seven walked out from the shadow of a suit of armor. It placed its arm against its chest, before walking off.
"Fool..."

"What's wrong?" Alysia calls out.
"I felt...one of the bad guys...the...bug thing from your world. He's.....he's dead." Gabe says. "Someone murdered him....not Avelon." He clutches his head. "He was frozen...then tossed off...a building."
"Impossible." Dagren couldn't believe it. "I've tried killing that roach for a good many years. He's not that easy to kill."
"I...there's no mistaking it. I felt his thoughts. He was betrayed." Gabe says.

"My apologies My Lord." ExDeath teleports in. "I was making my final adjustments on the spell that will create your Beloved's guardian. I did not sense this." ExDeath bows. "I will find this being and find out why he or she dared to defy you."

Wight runs into Zain, who grabs him and keeps him from falling "Easy boy. Hmm? What's wrong?"
"Th-th-th-the ice....w-w-wasn't i-i-ice...." Wight studders.
Zain frowns and sits him down "Alright...easy, sit down. Yukiro, make some ice cubes." he says and forms a cup out of earth and fills it with water.
"NO ICE!" Wight jumps.
"Ok, ok, no ice." Zain looks at him, then glances at Yukiro
"Hey man I've been with you I didn't do anything." he says
"Wight, what happened?" Zain asks.
Wight shakes "I-I-I thought it was ice...." he says
"He's in shock..." Zain sighs

Isis popped out from behind Yukiro. She placed a hand on his.
"What happend Wight.....you.....what the hell, the crab?" Isis said wrinkling her nose.
Avelon stared at the stone remains, before using his telekenisis to lift the stones up. They put themselves together, into a statue version of his former self.
"His last thought was...to tell me something...and then fear....an incredible fear." He said to himself, as he lifted a hand towards the creature.
"Who did this."

"Predator...called itself...sensed....nothing...couldn't...read his mind...." A ghostly voice that sounded like Torvak's said.
"Hmmm...perhaps it was not treachery in a large sense but merely someone wishing to settle a score from their own world?" ExDeath muses. "How pointless."

Avelon acknowledged ExDeath,
"No, that kind of malice I would of sensed....a predator....hmm, so a bird of prey, in dragon infested skies....this....this is going to be a hindrance. ExDeath. Watch the rest closely. I will not have some foolish hero antics ruining my plans. The wedding will have to wait. Hurry with Relena's guard. I need my attention focused on this." Avelon said still staring at the statue.
"However, now you see the "Law of the Outsider", when you die here, well when foreign beings die here, this is their outcome. Turned to stone until the blight is over."
Kris made his way around the corner to where Avelon stood with his pet tree.
"Sir..I..what is that?" He said pointing with his left hand.
"A new ornament." Avelon said annoyed.
"Kris, get back to Eavan, Nabiki as well, you two will guard her again until otherwise noted."
"Yeah alright." He said turning and running towards Nabi's room.
Isis stared at Vincent, as she called him.
"How the hell do you know?" She asked.

"I passed by a maid. She said she saw the crash." Vince holds up a piece missing from one of Torvak's claws. "This landed on her and she ran, screaming. Knows nothing else."
"This hate might be useful. I cannot agree with what was done but if Torvak was killed easily like this perhaps they did us a favor by removing a liability. Such skill to elude a telepath...could prove useful against theirs." ExDeath thinks. "I will finish the spell but
I need her for the final part. I will let you know when it is time." ExDeath warps out.
"Yeah..." Nabiki says. "Let's...go."

"I'll take care of Wight...Seems this etire ordeal has spooked the boy." Zain says "Come on boy. Let's get you some milk." he says standing Wight up.
Yukiro frowns "I better not get blamed for this...the ice thing is a bit incriminating...but I was with Zain so...who else amoung us uses ice? Isaac? I think Claudius and Eris might be able to...and that Light guy...Hmm, so I guess I'm ok." he says to Isis.

Lio stands in front of Elric's door, guarding it.
Eavan thinks "I'm not sure what to do..."
"There is also the chance that we could get you out without Lutheran's help. Are there any of the others you feel would be eager to escape?"
"Yes...Nabiki, Wight, and Kris. They would help..." she says
"Good, more than I had thought...We can bring in some of the others from my side as well. I know a way, and they could come without having to worry about being detected."
"How?"
"The Wiseman. He is still a hero of the people as well. They will call for he and their king to meet. the wiseman can come in with backup. While he and Avelon smile and wave, both grining falsely at each other, you can make your escape." Elric says.
"That could work...or help whatever plan Lutheran has...oh! your arm, here." she hands him a vile of potion "rub that on the scars and they will disappear."
"Thank you." he says and immediately gets to that. "We will get you out of here...hopefully before our wedding night."
"When will you reveal yourself?"
"Hopefully when Avelon needs me most." he scowls "He has tainted the mind of my dear cousin...as twisted as she may be, it pains me to watch her intoxicated by him."

Kris made it to Elric's room, only to find Lio. Avelon had given him a special trinket in order to find her should she go missing from the castle at any time.
"Hey, Avelon wants me to...talk to Eavan, Nabi as well." he said to the robot.
"Boss's orders."

Xander had sensed the fade of Torvak's energy, and he and Marcus had made their way to the scene of the incident. Neither had said anything as Avelon made his decision, but now Xander spoke, "It might be best to question the staff, the maid may not be the only one who saw something. And at the least, you may wish to inform them all is well before rumors and panic sets in."

Alex walked over at the mention of death, "Now might be a good time for that search then. He'll probably be distracted with dealing with this, and reassuring people all is well. We can use the extra time."

Kris sighed at the robot.
"Hey buddy, my orders came from your boss's boss. Step aside, I really don't think Avelons in the mood to play. Somebody...did something to that space bug thing." he said staring at the door.
Avelon smirked.
"No,....the people never saw Torvak, he....was a creature sent here by Lutheran. He's been possesed by the spirit that inhabited Avelons body. I was almost killed, but...." he looked Yukiro, "Yukiro saved me. He saved his king. Hence the ice. However, I shall figure this out. When I do, those who are apart of this, will be destroyed." Avelon said as he turned away from the group. His aura was a dark purple.

Yukiro smiles and put's his hads on his hips "Well, I like that story!" he looks at the Torvak statue "RIP bug dude..." he says

Elric turns and listens "Someone's at the door..."
"Well, put a shirt on and let's go then." Eavan says "We can finish this when we get contact with the others again."
"Right, and until then, it's best if we act smitten. It will please Avelon and he might leave us alone more often." he says as he finishes getting dressed. "Now then, shall we?" he asks and holds out his arm to her.
She takes it and smiles while laughs as if he had said something funny.
"Very good." he smiles and chuckles himself as he opens the door. "Yes, he's quite the character. Oh, Kris. How long were you out here?" he asks "Stand aside 017."
Lio steps aside and lets them stand face to face.

"Not too long. Eavan, I'm...I mean Nabiki and I have been made your bodyguards again. Sounds like they've killed Torvak, or something." He said with a smile.
In a bright blue flame Avelon was gone. He reappeared back in his chambers. A few maids entered moments after he did, and bowed low to him before running off. He searched around the room, for Relena.
