Two days had passed since his rescue of Leley and the capture of the enemy holodisc. His wounds healed after Leley had "released her pent up energy on him." The only reason they stopped, had been for the fact that his electrical energy was wasted. Otherwise he would still be racing to get home. Mother would either demote him, or else exile him. He prayed that the disk contained something or else he would be in serious trouble.
"Leley, lets go, We can make it back home by...I don't know...another 42 hours nonstop travel."

"Food? Bathroom breaks?." she said playfully.
"Of course, anything for you love." he said playfully as well.
They mounted up and sped off again.

As Leley clutched to his back, her hair flowed in the deep, cold breeze as they rode part of a freeway coursing through the ruined, nearly-underwater city of Memphis.

"Chris?" She spoke softly, as she was falling asleep. "What do you think happened to this place? Mother said something called an apocalypse fell unto the world, but I don't belive that."
Agron knew Leley well, and he also knew that, no matter how deeply in love the two of them were, she would always make time to try to figure out what happened to the world around her.

"I don't know." Agron said, saddened that, for once, he could not answer Leley's question. The motorcycle turned off the freeway and onto a rural route, and the stench of dead animals filled the air. There were human skeletons as far as the eye could see, and the sky turned a kind of ominous green as twilight apporached.

They continued down the rural road for a while before he answered.
"I think we're getting close Lels. Whats onn the disk, do you know?" he asked her.
"I'm not a hundred percent but..." she smiled "But I believe that its something to do with the past. I think this tape, was recording right up to the moment that the apocalyps....apoc...the damn event!!!"

As he drove something suddenly hit him. A picture formed in his mind. He looked at Leley.
"Give me the disk." she handed him the holotape and looked puzzled. He grabbed it and concentrated on the disk. in his mind a picture appeared...which slowly evolved into a moving film. It was a recording of a large body of water...many ships floated by, the scene shifted to the front of the craft. Chris recognized the ship he had posted himself on for over a week....The Monolith in the Harbor...the ship stuck in time. The "screen" in his mind suddenly erupted in static. A blindingly bright flash engulfed the "screen" and Chris found himself starring at the disk.
"What the hell....Leley, what..what did you do?." he asked her out of breath.

"It was the last log i could find....it wasn't dated or anything...like I said, it...I think it was filming right up until the event. I changed the title and erased any and all links to the holotape. If you checked it now, it brings up a link to the 1930's some family get together.....honey...I think Mother is going to be pleased....and...those UR guys don't have a clue....they hadn't tried to look in that far yet....I think we pulled a fast one on them. God...being a Phasewalker is much fun...Ican hack any computer with a blink of an eye....while you can shoot little bolts of energy from your finger tips...please, my owers are so much better."she laughed.
"Good....lets get home Mother will either be worried, or.....well I really don't wanna think anything else." and with that, he sped out again, a small victory if ever there could be one.

The moment he entered the hq, he could feel that all eyes were on him. Mother was angry, he could taste it in the air, either that or it was fatboy friday in the mess hall. He held Leleys hand as he made his way upstairs to report in.

Indeed, Mother had allowed for a kind of respite from the usual rations, though the members of the Maternity technically had access to far more food via the Garden than did the UR citizens, who eat mostly synthetic cereals.

As they came to the central Hall, Agron could notice a small tear running down the left side of Mother's flawless caramel face. Her attire was almost Victorian in nature, but even with this Even those who hated Mother had to accept her as possibly being the most unequivocally attractive woman in the world.

Her face turned to a slight smile as she prepared to inquire Agron. "Leley, get out." With no hesistation or even the slightest hint of disrespect, she let Agron's hand go and ran to her dorm. Her smooth, seductive voice overshadowed even the majesty of the huge stained glass windows in the hall.

"Hello, Christopher. You know why you're here, so you'd best have a good explanation for your actions."

Across the hall, stood Agent 12, also Mother's protege and 3rd in line to succeed her: Jessica Lynn Rogue, daughter of the legendary Luna Rogue.

"Mother, agent 12. Anyways, mother....ehh, the mission was completed, I got Leley and a holodisk back from the Monolith in the harbor. The tape, seems to record up to a flash....however, I suspect that with some proper tinkering we can go farther back into the disks memory. See some things from the past. Also, on my behavior, well...all I can say is that I killed another nine officers a couple NCO's. However, I lost another rifle...that Hillington, I shoulda shot him first. But, I would of lost a .6% on my acuracy." he said it all with a smile.
"Honestly, my mission was accomplished and I was able to rescue an agent from UR control and even obtain a holodisk from them."He was a bit on edge, but he knew his good had outdone the bad. Hillington was still alive, but if he could master his new Phasewalker ability, then Hillington would soon be a stain on his boot. Then Richardson would be next. and if he could become strong enough....Hughes. But first things first...he'd have to survive Mothers wrath.

Mother looked at him, absolutely confounded with his confidence, and was surprisingly proud to think so. She felt it would be best to tell him now.
"Now, about agent 42. What did Brigadier General Richardson do with her body? The least we could do is give her a proper burial."

"Agent 42, I...I don't know, I could barely keep my Phasewalk up after Richardson nailed me. However I lost contact with Agent 43 about an hour before I attacked Hillingtons group. " Agron answered her. "But, if Richarson got a hold of her, then I would say Just do what you think is best mam." He unsheated his katana and began spinning it between his fingers.

Mother looked at the spinning katana, mortified at the disrespect of him showing his weapon before her. "Christopher, how dare you. Perhaps I should let you speak with Sarah instead." She snapped her fingers and Luna appeared in front of Agron. He knew what was coming. Even the fact that she was only her daughter was enough to strike fear into most of the other Daughters.

Sarah Jessica Rogue, agent twelve and daughter of THE Luna Rogue, was about to chastise him.

"Hey now,"he said with a smile. "Mother there is a point in doing this. Look at the tip of the blade." He said with a smile. He slashed his hand and a small metal ensignia fell to the floor. A Eagle, a globe and an Anchor. Another small card fell as well. A security card.
"It cost half of my energy but I was able to make a perfect copy of Hillingtons security pass card. The best thing is the copy was made inside my body, and...he the code on the card was an electrical copy. If Hillington is able to get a new card, or change the security number on his current card, this card will change to match. It takes some of my ppower to maintain the lock and seal. but I thought you'd be happy if I surprised you." He sheathed his blade a moment later.

Surprisingly enough, Mother was quite impressed with his work. She called Sarah off and allowed him to go back to his room. On his way, however, Sarah stopped in front of him and delivered a stunt, yet incontrovertible ultimatum:

"If you ever, EVER show Mother that kind of disrespect again, I'll fucking kill you. If my mother were alive, she'd have killed that bitch Leley too." She turned around, and walked towards her study with quite the poise.

Agent 121, Haku Hatoyama, looked at his friend and snickered.
"What?" Agron said.

Being the man he was, Haku obviously replied "You may not want to admit it, but I'm right. Sarah is sooooooooooooooo smoking hot."

Agent 12 went to her study, and got ready for a memorial service for the two lost Agents. She did not know exactly what happened in Boston, but she knew that, if Richardson did indeed get to them first, then they were obviously dead.

"Yeah, too bad she's a fucking bitch. Kill Leley, heh thats a good joke." something in his eyes put Haku on edge.
"Either way, mission was completed with minor casualties. Oh, and Haku?"
"Yeah bud?" he turned to him happily. Agrons sword was at his throat, "you ever laugh at me again, you won't come back from our next mission." he said with a small smile.
"Yeah....yeah okay, sorry."
"Hahaha gotcha, thats why i like you Hak you can always take a joke,....and a hit." he lowered and sheathed his sword.
